Hey everyone!

Who else is trying for a baby?

How you been finding it?

I stopped the pill in October, I know it takes time but really wanting a positive soon! Just need to be super patient 🤭🙂🙂🙂

Is anyone else having real issues with bloating? At the moment if I do much as think about eating something I get so bloated it’s painful.

I used to get this when I was in a regular cycle around my period being due but since I’m not in a proper cycle yet it’s just constant. I feel like a balloon!

RMusic12 · 13/01/2020 18:39

Definitely impossible, Newbie0818! I might try the ovulation strips actually, it’s killing me not knowing whether now is the time or not. I sense an Amazon Prime order coming on 😂 Hope yours settles soon! 🤞🏼

Hope it's okay for me to join? Got married in November and we've just started TTC for our first baby this month - I'm 39 and my DH is 40 so we're a bit late to the game! there's so much to think about! Currently 1DPO so guess I'm in for a wait now Confused....

ablisha · 13/01/2020 19:41

@RMusic12 yes definitely! 🤞🏼

bluemoon2468 · 13/01/2020 19:45

@RMusic12 yeah a really good sign! You're way too early for AF presumably, so it's looking good 😊

RMusic12 · 13/01/2020 19:46

@RMusic12 could it be implantation bleeding? It’s possible to spot a bit at that point

Twinkletoes85 · 13/01/2020 20:40

@RMusic12 sorry my phone didn’t update all those messages till I posted

RMusic12 · 14/01/2020 09:52

Update : 9dpo took a test and nothing will try again tomorrow and the next .... fingers crossed

bluemoon2468 · 14/01/2020 12:04

@RMusic12 if you had implantation bleeding yesterday BFP wouldn't show up until tomorrow or the day after - it takes at least 48 hours for HCG levels to rise enough. Huge good luck for tomorrow!

RMusic12 · 14/01/2020 12:12

@bluemoon2468 ah okay! Can you tell I'm new to all this 😂😂😂Thankyou xxx

bluemoon2468 · 14/01/2020 12:14

@RMusic12 no problem at all! I'm new to ttc too, but have been tracking my cycle for years as a method of contraception so have picked up a lot of info along the way!

RMusic12 · 14/01/2020 12:56

@bluemoon2468 I have been reading online and scrolling through Mumsnet, also been watching YouTube videos!

We have been using conceive plus, only started using it on my last fertile window so if I am pregnant I'm well impressed. It cost me £20 which to me is a lot but I have read so many good reviews x

UPDATE: 10dpo and negative, woke up with horrible heartburn and had stomach twinges again last night. Fingers crossed will test again tomorrow xxx

Twinkletoes85 · 15/01/2020 10:22

@RMusic12 all sounds positive! Fingers crossed!

RMusic12 · 15/01/2020 10:48

@Twinkletoes85 I'm worried it is just a period but it's so light!

Also I'm 10dpo so when would I start seeing a positive if I was pregnant?

OP posts:
bluemoon2468 · 15/01/2020 12:06

@RMusic12 did it just last the one day then stop? If so it's definitely not a period, it's just spotting. You can get a positive at any point from about 9DPO onwards, but many people don't get one until 12+DPO. Basically any time up until AF starts, you could get a BFP. It all depends on when implantation took place and how long it takes your body to raise your HCG levels high enough - all bodies are different.

RMusic12 · 15/01/2020 12:37

@bluemoon2468 Thankyou yeah so started Monday night had it yesterday, today it's like hardly anything.

Been feeling a bit light headed ☹️

Has anyone else gone off alcohol? Admittedly I’ve not had a drink since nye as I’ve just not wanted one but I’ve just decided to have a gin and it tastes awful! I’m for sure not pregnant yet

RMusic12 · 15/01/2020 19:12

@Twinkletoes85 I'm actually not a big drinker so no but I keep craving a coffee and I'm not a coffee drinker 😂😂😂
