Hey ladies,

Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia! GrinGrin

What's your story?

@littletandme Oo that's interesting.
Now my urge to POAS is back 😆

Symptoms: boobs still as sore
Belly not feeling that flutter I've had past few days.
All these posts this weekend has kept me in reality and I'm not expecting a BFN on my first guesstimate try.
Thank you you lot x

Talcott2007 · 27/01/2020 10:57

@Hatepickinganame - It's so weird because the last 2 cycles (Dec+Jan) I was actually super patient and in the end didn't need to test as AF showed up bang on time even with all the crazy symptoms in Jan - that was cruel trickery at it's worst though - I actually thew up one morning but nope. not a thing last month.

I've promised myself that I wouldn't POAS until at least after AF is due after I had a CP in my Nov Cycle - which I only know about as I tested super early and had faint positives from DPO9 that unfortunately didn't really get any stronger but then AF arrived 3 days late.

I don't know what's wrong with me this cycle and why i'm so impatient! Can't even blame body trickery yet I absolutely cant stop thinking about testing!

professorastrocat · 27/01/2020 11:09

Sorry to hear of your cp @Talcott2007 , all the best for this cycle!

Talcott2007 · 27/01/2020 12:03

Thank you @professorastrocat - It was obviously really disappointing and i still do get pangs of what if? but I'm very much a believer of things happening for a reason/when it's the right time etc - In a weird way it was just reassuring that that I could get 'pregnant' IYSWIM
Our DD3.5 was a proper miracle-beating-the-odds-surprise after a broken condom and MAP failure! So in the back of my head I do wonder if DH and I have used up all our baby-making luck on her!

I totally understand what you're saying @Talcott2007. And I also relate to the magic baby making powers of my previous pregnancy (my ds is 4 now 😬)
let's be positive together, we can do it!

notetaker · 27/01/2020 12:46

@Talcott2007 I completely get what you mean. I've never been pregnant and some days I can't imagine it happening for me. It can be so hard to stay positive! Sorry to hear about your chemical, and I'm sure you've not used up all your luck Star

@professorastrocat Thanks for the positive vibes, I think I need them today! Got a real case of the Monday blues...

Wise0wl · 27/01/2020 13:26

@notetaker sorry to hear the Monday blues have struck. On the upside, Monday is halfway over! Do you have any nice evening plans?

notetaker · 27/01/2020 13:30

I'll be reet @Wise0wl, just moping!
Evening plans include pasta and pjs so plenty to look forward to! Thanks for the pick-me-up Smile

Wise0wl · 27/01/2020 14:07

@notetaker moping is perfectly fine! PJs and pasta sounds like a top evening, esp as I’m mostly just eating soup these days! 🙄

MrsTwentySeven · 27/01/2020 14:10

Symptom spotting madness - felt a cramp on my left side where I also felt ovulation pain last week - could be ALL in my head ladies but I swear I felt it 🙈 5DPO...did I really though 🧐

Lola871 · 27/01/2020 14:11

@professorastrocat yay cycle buddies.

I just thought by using OPKs I'll have more of an idea of when my period is actually due (cycles have varied by up to 10days in the last year or so) which will stop me POAS too early, and also make sure I get some BD in around the right time.

hannah17381 · 27/01/2020 14:12

I stayed off here for a few days as I'm trying so hard not to be crazy this time..... Turns out I'm still crazy with or without reading a forum!

This bus has made me giggle so much that my colleagues think I've got a problem.

I'm still waiting for my body to sort it's sh1t out post mirena removal. It's hardly been any time but I'm so impatient to know where I'm at.

No kids but spent nearly 3 years trying before it killed my marriage. Now 5 years on I'm back on the crazy wagon 🙈

Hatepickinganame · 27/01/2020 14:13

Well i just burst into tears on my bosses shoulder. Monday sucks! Hope youre all having a better day!

@talcott2007 sorry about your CP, fingers crossed for you!! X

Hatepickinganame · 27/01/2020 14:14

@MrsTwentySeven join the club, i had cramps all through dpo 5 and 6! Unless i imagined them too 🤔

notetaker · 27/01/2020 15:46

Aw @Hatepickinganame, sending love

professorastrocat · 27/01/2020 15:57

Aw hugs for everyone feeling emotional today!

How do you wait 4 hours to poas in an afternoon! 🤔 need the loo!

MimiArm · 27/01/2020 17:57

Come on ladies, we can do this!

To all the emotional people today, chin up, this WILL happen sooner or later.

Sending out positive thoughts and positive vibes. I'm a true believer in visualising what you want.

And if it doesn't happen this month, or next, or the one after, we will pick ourselves up, drag our sorry asses back on the bus and keep at it 💪😘

2020wisher · 27/01/2020 18:08

Loving the positivity @MimiArm 😊 well done ladies we have survived Monday! 🥳 time to celebrate with carbs.

I’m full on symptom spotting, lots of little pains going on down there that are making me curious. As well as back pain on and off. I’m feeling quite hopeful.

Spent the day clearing out so much rubbish in our house- kept me busy and occupied which was fabulous!

I’m having a bit of a dilemma- got a massage booked for Wednesday. Would you go or not? 😬

Anon87 · 27/01/2020 18:26

@2020wisher I'd go for the massage. I'm waiting for payday tomorrow and I'm booking myself in for one. Until I see that line I'm not pregnant and people do a lot worse before they find out and it's all good so treat yourself!

Anon87 · 27/01/2020 18:31

I came home and did an Ov test after the posts before and because I've got 6 IC pregnancy tests I dunked that in too.

Both negative. As expected. Was wayyyyy too early but intriguing.
Pj's on, brew in hand, roll on Eastenders 😄

Posharmchairs · 27/01/2020 18:32

I’d go for the massage too! Not many treatments would involve pummelling your tummy and you can say you’re a wimp like me and just want very light pressure Grin

paintfairy · 27/01/2020 18:52

I think I need a massage! Grin Definitely go!

MrsTwentySeven · 27/01/2020 19:07

@MimiArm I love the optimism ❤️ sometimes we just need to hear it from someone to pick ourselves up!
@Hatepickinganame sorry you had such an emotional day :( Hope you indulge in some chocolate tonight 😀
@Anon87 you’re so funny 😂 No more POAS!
@Talcott2007 sorry about your CP :(

Also...what did the Nonuplet person write to get it removed by MNHQ - so intrigued 🤔

MrsTwentySeven · 27/01/2020 19:09

I had a headache the whole day and asked my husband if it’s a symptom and he asked if it’s contagious as I’m starting to give him one too 😂😂
