Hello fellow tccers, so today is officially 1DPO for me, offically my favorite and most hated part of the cycle.

Got my LH surge 2 days ago, going to keep doing opks just to be on the safe side. Really hoping that this month I will actually hold off testing until AF is due.

AF due on 26th. Anyone fancy symptom watching with me 🤩

Thank you @fioney25 honestly I'm going mad!! I have two PT kits in my house and I'm purposely spending all day out the house so I don't take them! 😝😝😝
My boobs are now hurting but I always get that just before my period. Same with a small break out on my face, but again all signs AF is due to arrive! Honestly I could cry! I told my DH that maybe his swimmers swam up the wrong tube! 😂😂😂 gotta put a funny spin on these testing times!
I'm convinced I'll get my period so just got to wait until January now for my next LH surge and try again! 🤞

@Wackadoodle84 That would freak me out 😂 but it would save a lot of wonder and money buying FRER tests 😂😂 Hopefully it's helped you out.

@Ginge35 Keeping busy is the key! Thank god it's Christmas!! I'd drive myself nuts if I didn't! Haha my DH said the same thing, and how do they know where they're going and not to get lost? 🤷🏼‍♀️😄

@Wackadoodle84 I think I'm going to wait to test. My period is due Christmas Day but it will most likely turn up on Boxing Day, so I'm going to do my best not to test! However spending Boxing Day with my mom so is love nothing more than to tell her Boxing Day that I got a BFP!
I say all this but you know full well that PT test will be out tomorrow and Monday and I'll be buying more too! God I'm pathetic! 😂😂

Has anyone any symptoms? I think I'm out this month due period on Monday or Tuesday and had awful period cramps last nite 😭 so looks like it's on to another month of ttc it's so hard xx

@kkd85 I had loads of cramps last month from 6dpo which I thought might have been a symptom, this month I have no cramps so I'm now wondering if my lack of cramps is a symptom. I honestly think all these little quirks we notice in the tww like sore breasts, cramps etc happen anyways but we are just so alert for symptoms when we are ttc that we just notice everything more.

@ginge35, i tested this morning 🤦‍♀️ 8dpo, not sure what exactly I was expecting this early 🤣

@Wackadoodle84 I has 2 miscarriages this year one start of April and I felt like period was coming but was really dizzy so that's what made me wonder. 2nd MC in sept didnt have any symptoms before my bfp it's so strange how the body works. It's enough to put your head away. When period comes this month that will be 27 months spent ttc number 2 it's a long struggle xx

@Wackadoodle84 I feel your pain! I've done 3 tests way way too early, I haven't even had the urge today! I think I've just admitted defeat for this month!
However I've sharp pains in my belly today, not like cramps but actual sharp pains, which is a bit odd.
Having some lower back pain, so now I'm thinking I may have a water infection!
Sounds daft but I know I won't get BFP this month, but now I want my AF so bad so I can crack open the Prosecco in my cupboard! 😂😂😂

Hey folks, can I join? I am 3DPO and driving myself completely insane. I know there's scientifically nothing to look for yet, and that I need to be patient, but I also know that I feel nauseated like nothing before and have a heavy pull in my lower back that I'd normally interpret as period cramps.. was using opks and I'm usually very regular, so I am certain it's not AF.. Feel like I'm losing my mind already, and can't test for another week at least!
As soon as a sperm fertalises the egg hormonal changes happen to prevent further sperm trying to penetate it to avoid multiple pregnancies.. So I keep wondering that if that's true, whyever wouldn't it be the case that we couldn't feel other hormonal effects this early?? But I know I'm just reaching.

Sending you all solidarity and hope this doesn't take away from a wonderful holiday season!

@Wackadoodle84 @Ginge35 How are you both doing?! So I caved in as I was bored and did a FRER last night, not disappointed but as expected BFN 😩 now on 8 DPO, I'm the same as you, still got some twinges in my stomach, now think that might just be bloat/wind from all the pre-Christmas scoffing! 😆 Shall I try tomorrow or wait until after Christmas? Xx

@AsSurprisedAsYouAre Hey welcome to the thread! This is my first cycle TTC so symptoms checking, testing etc are all new to me so I can't help you on that front. Try to keep busy and not over think it (easier said than done). Is this your first cycle TTC? Xx

Hi @Wackadoodle84 I'm holding out! I'm 12DPO bit didn't test yesterday and I'm not testing today! I'm going to hold off and probably cave tomorrow! 🤪
Yesterday and today I've had some serious sharp pains in my stomach and back, like I'm being electrocuted or something! I don't know how to describe the pains! They are awful! My DH said it could be my anxiety and he is probably right as that manifests in all sorts of weird ways!
I'm truly hoping it's not and hoping for a BFP!

@fioney25 yes, just like you it is our first time trying, we had an unintended pregnancy 2yrs ago that didn't make it past 6 weeks but it wasn't anticipated and I just keep wracking my brain for ANY memory of how I felt that time round. I wish I could just be patient but every time I stop actively doing a task I'm back to wondering and inventing(?) sensations and symptoms. I'm taken aback with the how unlike myself I'm feeling, I'm normally calmer and more zen than this!! So lovely to know I'm not alone! Fx for you all!

@AsSurprisedAsYouAre Aw like you said so lovely to have someone else on the same journey. Oh bless you, so sorry to hear about that 😔 It's so easy to convince yourself when you're constantly looking for symptoms and after reading other threads, symptoms can be a whole range of things 🙈 It really does mess with your mind but try to keep busy and let nature do its thing 🤞🏼 Keep me posted with how you feel xx

I usually get butterflies with my anxiety but like you said it has other ways 🙈 Sending you lots of BFP vibes and I have my fingers crossed for you! 🙏🏼 xx

My anxiety is very odd! It comes in all ways! Sometimes I can't even leave the house, sometime it cripples me with pain! It's all very bizarre! 😝
Still getting these stabbing pains! I'm hoping it's a good sign and not a sign I'm about to have a really vicious AF! 😩

4dpo and I no longer have any nausea at all and aside from being very tearful (which could just be exhaustion, I have a very demanding job and usually get a bit emotional when I finally get a couple of days off) my only symptoms are persistent PMT like lower back pain and what I can only describe as the 'heavy awareness' of my uterus I usually get before AF. Beginning to think I invented it all and I'm heading for disappointment.

How is everyone else doing? Christmas proving a welcome distraction from the symptom spotting or bringing the awareness to thoughts of family even more?

@Ginge35 Haha that's alright 😆 I'm 9dpo now, I bit the bullet again and did a FRER test but it was a BFN! 😩 At least I can enjoy Christmas without the anxiety of having to explain to everyone why I'm not drinking 🤪 How are you today? Are you testing again soon?

@AsSurprisedAsYouAre I wouldn't try to look into it too much, I've read a couple of articles that no symptoms are very common at this stage too. It's definitely good to keep busy and distracted 😘
I'm good, as I said to @Ginge35 I thought I'd do a FRER test but another BFN, trying to stay positive as still early days 😬

Merry Christmas ladies! My AF turned up today, right on time! So all these symptoms have been total rubbish! Pass the Prosecco!!!! 😭😭😭

Did a test this morning (and yesterday morning!) stark white bfn, not even a hint of a line if I squint slightly to the left and hold it under every light source I can find.

AF due tomorrow so will test again obviously (probably multiple times) but not expecting to get a different result.
