1DPO - the tww offically starts here 🤪

Hello fellow tccers, so today is officially 1DPO for me, offically my favorite and most hated part of the cycle.

Got my LH surge 2 days ago, going to keep doing opks just to be on the safe side. Really hoping that this month I will actually hold off testing until AF is due.

AF due on 26th. Anyone fancy symptom watching with me 🤩

6 DPO today and due Christmas Day, no unusual symptoms other than sore side of boobs, few twinges and a bit emotional. Tired as well but really busy in life so not surprised there. All normal TWW symptoms I think.

I had pains in my left side very low down this afternoon, so immediately my head says that is implantation!! 😂

My bbt has been weird this month. Just sitting above my cover line. Don't know what to think.

@Whyhaveidonethis I'm exactly the same as you! The slightest twinge or cramp, I'm like OMG it's happening 😂 Didn't realise how consuming this would be 🙈 I'm on 2DPO so this TWW is going to drive me nuts 😆

I'm 3DPo and temps haven't risen as much as I thought they would...i could be 2dpo.

Just find it all really depressing, wish it was easy to just carry on as normal and forget about it xx

@ceebee21 Heyy! How are you testing your temperature? Haven't even explored that route... is it a symptom after ovulation?? Xx

@fioney25 oh gosh, it's the next thing I'm trying now. So you test your bbt, you can get thermometers on Amazon...

You test throughout your cycle and have to do it as soon as you wake up, before anything else such as going to the loo. Once ovulation has oxxured your temp rises slightly and stays that way until it drops and AF arrives...if it doesn't drop you should get a BFP.

It is only useful to see when you actually have ovulated, as you only see a couple days after xx

@ceebee21 Aaah thank you! This is totally new to me so finding something else new to check everyday. Will definitely try this next month if I'm not lucky. I think our cycles are the same - I'm 2 DPO. Fingers crossed for you!! Xx

@fioney25 I guess the good thing about it is its only correct first thing, so you can't keep checking. Although you do wish the days away...guess further down the line it can save on pregnancy tests as if you see a drop its probably AT arriving. Ah yes, I have had 11 day L.P. recently so due Xmas day zxx

Happy Friday ladies, hope you’ve all had a good week. I caved and tested this morning at 8DPO.. BFN of course 😆 the second week of the 2 week wait is definitely the worst 😭

@fioney25 I'm with you on that one... I am trying to hold out until Monday at least - I am busy over the weekend, so that should keep me occupied until then.

My temps are still rising, so at leas that is one good thing xx

not really haha, but at only 6DPO I probably wouldn't have implanted yet!!

@ceebee21 I am planning to test on Tuesday, I'll be 9 DPO then too 😬 I keep telling myself not to get my hopes up but would be lovely if something showed up! Not symptoms either but not sure what I was expecting 😆 xx

hi ladies,

was all set to confess to some premature testing today and I see that @MrsMeow2019 and @Whyhaveidonethis have also caved which makes me feel better about my lack of will power (bfn obviously!)

@fioney25 @ceebee21 how is the tee treating you both?

@LosingtheTTCplot your symptoms sound promising! hopefully means a bfp is on the way for you

Had a fertility reflexology appointment today. Not sure if it will help but surely has to be worth a try, it was extremely relaxing. I think i may have dozed off at one point !

Hi ladies! Thought I'd join the thread if you don't mind.
I tested 7DPO and got a BFN and promised myself I wouldn't test again until after I missed my AF (due on Christmas Day) but low and behold my lack of patience got the better of me and I tested again today and got another BFN!
I think I'm having fake symptoms but a lot of my symptoms (other than the nausea) are signs I'm due on my period so nothing strange there.
Just feel really sad as we DTD on my solid smiley face day and the day after that, on my OPK so I was really hoping we'd got it right!
I just know I'm going to get my period and my Christmas will be ruined! 😭😭😭😭
Sorry for the rant! Needed to vent!

@Wackadoodle84 Heyy! It's been okay, becoming very impatient and dying to test but trying to hold out until Christmas Eve 🙈 No real symptoms apart from a few twinges but I don't think that's anything out of the ordinary 🤷🏼‍♀️

@fioney25 my tww sounds like it's going about the same as yours, a few twinge here and there but no definitive symptoms. Isn't it an awful pity that mother nature couldn't have come up with something better than vague symptoms to alert us to pregnancy like our wee turning blue from 8dpo!

The reflexology was very relaxing, whether or not it will help with fertility remains to be seen ...

@Ginge35 testing at dpo, you will fit right in. I don't think there's a shread of will power to be found on this thread 🤣
