@Sunflower2019 I’ve used CB in the afternoon before, pretty sure they say that after you get your flashing you could test twice a day. I had it once where it was flashing in the morning but I knew I was due so did it in the afternoon and got static. Good luck!

I’m on day 7 of flashing when I was expecting a static yesterday so this cycle continues to be a weird one!

Belated merry Christmas everyone! I pulled on my big girl pants & went to my parents where I graciously congratulated by brother & sister in law.
Today has been a great day though bacon butties a big family walk and just had a big steak pie dinner.
Today is cd8 so according to smep bd'ing starts now ♥️

Hey girls, so got home after having a stomach ache, prob from eating too much and just got a solid smiley and a definitely positive on cheapy opk so guess I’m ovulating 🤞 explains the cm yesterday. Early for me too as cd13.
We didn’t follow smep though... well I guess we kind of did as we were dtd every other day then yesterday got carried away and done it when we shouldn’t and then today but I’m peak so guessing we are meant to be a lot now anyway, will have a break tomorrow then dtd Saturday eve xx

Things are getting exciting again now! I'm so annoyed I was nearly 2 weeks late this month as now I'm totally out of sink with this group! It's also thrown my tracking our of the window. So annoying. Going to start having lots of sex this weekend and try to keep it up all month as predicting ovulation is going to be difficult this month!
Keeping everything crossed for some BFPs soon xxxx

Cd9 for me and I have stabbing pain in my right ovary area. I get this every month (different sides) always assumed this was me ovulating. Not due to start opks till tomorrow...what to do? DTD last night but if I miss my high I'll not know when to increase the bedroom antics 😂

I've had a bit of a break over Christmas and have just been catching up with everyone's messages.

My apps say I am due to ovulate either tomorrow or the day after. I had some sight cramping this morning on one side so could be ovulation?
We've been DTD most days over the past week and hoping to continue until new year. The benefits of hosting Christmas and having no one stay over is a house free to ourselves so we haven't needed to be sneaky!

How’s everyone feeling? 5/6dpo here and considering leaving the house for first time since Christmas Eve 🤣

CD17 for me and the OPK’s I have taken (I’ll be honest I haven’t done them every day) have all been negative so far. No noticeable increase or decrease in results and not noticed any ovulation symptoms yet, but I reckon ovulation day will be within the next week if I go by my ‘normal’ 30-35 day cycle. We had a bit of a break over Christmas too (we were just exhausted!!) but back to every other day again now!

I’ve not dtd since day before ovulation so think I’m out this month, tried to ask dp last night but he didn’t want too as was tired ;( not looking Good is it xxx

@Sunflower2019 Try not to lose hope yet, you really never know! What was your timeline this cycle so far? When have you DTD and when was ovulation? Xx

@Quiffy maybe, I think next time I'll look at getting some OPK if we don't get a BFP this month.

Day before ovulation still puts you in the fertile window 🤞

I’m 6/7 DPO today and af like mild cramps woke me up this morning coupled with itching (?!) nipples x feel quite bloated and gassy but constipated at the same time, sorry tmi x been really nauseous yesterday and ended up being sick 🤢 not much in terms of cm, but my boobs are now quite sore x
@Quiffy how are you cycle buddy, any symptom spotting yet? x

@Ange211 that sounds a dream!!! Not jealous at all!! We’ve been very lazy today, Christmas has been crazy busy plus with DS not long out of hospital, we have just sat in front of the telly eating crap and binging Harry Potter (DH and I are massive fans.. 😬😂) Although DH gets bored quite quickly and is now dismantling our electric fire place as he ‘felt we needed a new one’ 🤷🏼‍♀️ Men!!

@Katie1109 blimey, sounds like you’ve got a lot going on! Hopefully the sickness is relevant and not you getting poorly! Xx

@BntTowers opk are useful, I also like temping as you can see where you ovulated from the dip then rise.

@Katie1109 hopefully that’s good symptoms and not a bug coming on! You going to hold on until af date to test? I’m ignoring all body quirks this cycle, I did notice sore boobs earlier but I’ve found that’s a sign of AF just as much so nothing out of the ordinary.

@Quiffy oh me too! I’ve got all the books and read them all at least twice! A close friend has bought us tickets to go to the Warner brother studios for Xmas and I’m so excited! Always wanted to go but never get around to booking it as it’s so expensive and always booked 3-4months in advance. I can’t wait 😍🙌🏻

Also.. I’ve never actually done temp checking before.. does anyone find it useful? Wouldn’t have a clue where to start or whether it’s actually worth it or not.. X

@mumofboys17 that sounds amazing! Well jell! The books are my comfort blanket, at last count I was at 12 read throughs because I storm through them every time I get the cold or flu 😅. If only we’d got our Hogwarts letter ❤️

I find bbt useful for confirming I’m ovulating, that’s two cycles now that it’s shown the day. I also like that it’s a quick thing to do in morning without needing to pee in a pot 🤣

Yeah now I read my message back it does seem like a lot. No nausea today, just yesterday and stomach feels ok, so it’s not a bug x still quite bloated and gassy but that can be anything x af due 4th/5th of Jan, I haven’t got any tests so I think I’ll wait unless I start getting some more proper symptoms rather than just sore boobs etc which are quite normal for me before af x
When is everyone else due for af, and when are you testing? x

@Katie1109 great to keep note of everything you feel, that way you’ll see any differences from cycle to cycle. Think I’m due jan 4th but af has been early every month so we’ll see! Not sure when/if I’ll test as bfns are so sad

@Sunflower2019 Oh you’re deffo in with a chance!! They say sperm can live up to 7 days anyway but you’ve got 3 days worth of build up there already! Maybe DTD if you can manage today if you ovulated yesterday, but if you don’t I wouldn’t think it’s the end of the world xx

AF isn’t due until around 16th Jan for me (according to Ovia) but depends if I go the full 35 days again this cycle x
