@Mrslane2019 that looks fairly positive to me! If it were me I’d be DTD just in case anyway with a result that dark x

@Ange211 we’re technically doing SMEP this month but like I said we’re just not being too strict about it. Have managed every other day so far (only CD11 today, mind 😬) but that’s working for us x

@Quiffy He’s Ok thanks, just very up and down. Today he seems fairly ok, so attempting to get some last minute Xmas bits done today! Hopefully we don’t have any meltdowns 😬🤞🏻

Feeling a bit stupid now after worrying about no peak results. I had in my head I was only ovulating every 2nd month and that there was something wrong with me. Esp when I had such a low opk this morning. Well Santa must have been listening as I’ve had two high peaks since then. Indeed, the one I took there took me ages for femometer to upload as the line was so much darker it thought it was the control. TCC really does drive you crazy.

@Ktn35 my first month ttc I had a period 14 days late despite never being that late before. I think it was definitely because of overthinking it and worrying.

@Quiffy We only have the one DS (at the moment!) Depends what day it is but he’s definitely more aware of christmas this year, despite being so bloody poorly 😩 he had a full on pale face shakey moment in a shop today, really frightened me. Had a little PTSD imagining being back in hospital in time for Christmas Day 😭 back to the GP tomorrow it is then.... again!!

Back on the topic of TTC.... 😂 I had negative OPK this morning but some stringy and creamy discharge early this evening, so reckon ovulation is coming early again this month 😬 think we’ll DTD tonight (in the spare room again 🙄😂) just to be safe!

Where abouts is everyone else cycle-wise? X

@mumofboys17 I am CD11 and got first flashing smiley this morning. My ovulation day was CD17 last month so reckon it will be earlier this month and most likely xmas day lol.

@Quiffy haha no worries! The name was sort of inspired by every other being in our house is male. DH, DS, 2 cats.. complete sausage fest! 😂 hoping to even out the score with DC2... if I ever manage to get pregnant that is!!
Hmm, I hope not a relapse too. So done with poor DS being ill! Work told me if I have any more time off with him poorly it’ll be unpaid too. Guess I’ll be skint on Jan payday then!! 🤷🏼‍♀️😂😂 #SucksToBeMe !! X

So it has arrived and it is a monster! Glad it will be mainly out of the way before Christmas though and we can get busy trying for next cycle!

@Quiffy I've kind of given up hope, not tested in a good few days now and zero symptoms. I think I'm just having a really long first cycle after the pill tbh as it's cycle day 35 today and nothing except for faint but almost solid lines on OPKs last two days now... I think my body is just trying to figure things out!

I just wish AF would show or that the OPKs mean I'm due to ovulate soon, either will do!!! I was foolish to think it would just go back to normal straight away. 😭😭

@Ktn35 Oh no, sorry to hear that. My first was conceived in early Feb haha so it’s almost like I’ve got that date in mind anyway in case we fail again this cycle 😂 x

The pill messes with our bodies so much. I was on it constantly for about 6/7 years (no breaks) before stopping when TTC the first time. AF had disappeared completely!! After about 10 months I went to the GP who told me it’s really common for the pill to cause a hormonal imbalance and it buggers up your cycles. They referred me to fertility at the hospital (had scans etc to rule out PCOS) and they gave me some tablets to kick start AF again, my cycles were then 30-35 days long from then.
If you don’t get AF back within a month or two then definitely speak to the GP xx

Also thought it’s worth mentioning my OPK’s always darken before AF shows, so if they’re getting darker towards the end of a long cycle it could indicate she’s on her way x

@Mumofboys17 thank you lovely that's reassuring! I knew, as I had obsessively researched, that it can take time... however because I had periods whilst on the pill I just thought I'd be okay and I stopped it when a period started. It was wishful thinking of course.

I have some Angus Castus coming today I think so I am hoping that might nudge AF along! I can't stand the thought of it taking so long that must've been torturous for you!

I thought I'd just jump on this thread (almost a month late) to say I hope you are well and I'm literally crossing my fingers for all of you!

I decided to take a short Christmas break from MN even though the support on here is AMAZING. I've just accepted the fact that my cycles are all messed up at the moment from the implant so just taking it easy - no tracking this month or anything for me and I've started on vitamin b complex, vitamin C and Angus castus to try and help balance my hormones out.

I'm keeping an eye on here for some BFPs and I'll be back next cycle!

Well I had my peak on Saturday so probably O day on Sunday therefore today officially in TWW! 1DPO x @Quiffy I take it you’re the same as me?x We DTD on all FW days, we DTD yesterday but it was veeeeery late(I’d say it was more this morning tbh) and after a long night out ooops x

Hi girls! Sorry I haven't been on much its been super busy here so haven't really had the time to get on much of my social media! I will be back on the 1st so will be popping in regularly around that time! Plus I'll be around 2dpo by then haah so perfect timing!! Today I went skydiving!!!! It was bloody amazing! Scary... But amazing!! So I hope you're all well and having fantastic holidays and a merry Christmas to you all!!! I must say it doesn't really feel like Christmas out here so it's an experience! Xxx

@Blondeandbroody so annoying, hopefully you can relax and enjoy Christmas - maybe the festivities will help bring it on. I agree about going to gp is it’s much longer. I came off pill in August and it came back really quick and that was after 14 years on. Hopefully that Angus castus helps 🤞

That’s us up at our parents. Managed to dtd and still be in bed for 9pm. Such wildies we are - was well needed as up at 530am. I know we want to be parents ourselves but it’s wonderful being looked after by my own mum. She’s already saying I should have a nap. Total Christmas bliss 😹 should hopefully make the TWW a little quicker

I’m expecting peak on the OPK tomorrow which is slightly better timing. We’re at the in laws and sharing a room with number 1 so that makes fun times impossible. We’re heading home tomorrow evening so aiming to BD then. Only managed on Friday evening so this month is a bit of a write off as we’ve not really been able to commit to trying.

@Fredthespider I’ve missed it both mornings so done it after 4 hour hold in afternoon.. god knows if I’ve messed it up but apparently not due to Ovulate till cd14/15 by my apps which is normal but have a feeling it will be slightly earlier this month.

Hope you Manage to get your peak, I’ve been dtd a lot less as think doing it too much never works, sperms a little weak, also changed pre seed to the boots one which has so many more benefits and cheaper xxx

@Sunflower2019 oooh I didn’t know boots did a version! I might have to grab some if this month doesn’t work. Hopefully you get your peak tomorrow too x

@Sunflower2019 I agree with not DTD ‘too much’.. I think we’re just doing to DTD every other day this month. It’s working for us so far and that way it’s got to be covered surely. I genuinely cannot be bothered with any more OPK’s 😂 may mix it up a bit if I feel like I’m ovulating or just fancy it haha but I do think being too regimented takes all the fun out of it! X

I am cd6 today so starting smep on boxing Day. Hubby is super keen so we'll give it a go lol. I bought conceive plus which I fear will be a mood killer but DH said it was a turn on when I told him 😂 honestly he's so supportive on this crazy journey.
Managed to change my day off this week so I have today off with my boys.

That’s so lovely your partner is so supportive, makes all the difference doesn’t it! I think DTD every other day technically means we’re following SMEP too? And tbh, I’m actually really enjoying it 😂 it feels like so much less of a chore and we’ve even started to look forward to our on days, whereas before even DH was starting to get a bit fed up of all the hard work 😬 hope it works for you!! 🤞🏻✨
