Moving on from the October threads, join in those that will be testing at the end of November. (Which also happens to be my birthday!)

Weird question but has anyone experienced stabbing pains down below before whilst ttc? Ive had a few pinches and twinges also and sensitive nipples...pink discharge when i wiped today (sorry tmi) but its almost non existent now but im thinking too early to be implantation?? And if its implantation surely i wouldnt be getting symptoms yet

@mellymoo86 I know that some people want to do it and not have to think about everything but the best rate of success is by tracking for obvious reasons. Some people are lucky and just fall quickly and others dont. I was so unhealthy when I got a bfp in the first month, i smoked 20na day i drank and i was 8 stone heavier (i dont know if i said this already) I'm now the healthiest I've ever been and 8 stone lighter lol and I'm still trying, albeit not a long time but we was being casual from april, only 3 months ago I started tracking properly because I thought well this malarkey isnt working! Lol life is a funny thing!

@Ellsbells112 wow that's amazing! Well done for making those life changes. 😊 Yeah life really is a funny thing. I remember when I was single people would say it'll happen when it's your time, you don't look for love it finds you. And now it's happening with this...it'll happen when it happens. For god sake! Lol

@mellymoo86 I know 🤣🤣 it's crazy. My OH is like that "itll happen when its time" alright mate why dont you track every god damn symptom, fantasise about being sick in the morning and feel deflated when your af comes every month?? Let's see if you still have that mindset!?!?! Ffs 🤣

@Skygirl1983 that's so sad, I just read your comment about the adoption. It is absolutely awful, there are mums drinking loads of alcohol and taking crack every day and they just keep getting pregnant! Here we are like should I drink a cup of coffee a day?? Is that ok?? Its infuriating

@mellymoo86 oh and dont get me started on the soaps, and how they get pregnant from a one night stand!! I lost count of how many times Mercedes McQueen on hollyoaks has been pregnant and had an abortion!! Gives us all very unrealistic ideas.

@Ellsbells112 well done you! It's funny though again how many unhealthy, overweight people also fall pregnant and how the most healthiest struggle. Its literally a lottery at times!

I'm terrible for saying it'll happen when it happens. And the past few years I have been very lucky in life in general, new job, amazing hubby, lovely home etc. Maybe now my luck is running out!

@mellymoo86 im not 100% sure but it could be anything from 6-8 dpo, that being said my period last month wasnt like a normal period it was more very light spotting hardly anything on sanitary wear

@mellymoo86 my last period started on the 25th oct only spotted a few days but even so i shouldnt be spotting or anything yet

@Bethy1995 my nipples felt like they were on fire last night and I've been really lightheaded today but I'm only 4dpo and know that all of these symptoms will only be caused by increased progesterone which happens before you get af or pregnancy so impossible to know which one it's leading too, unless maybe you are very in sync with your body and know all of your usual premenstrual symptoms. Good luck tho, hope you get a BFP x

@Mystie im not due af for another 9 days so this is very odd for me. Good luck to you too, our bodies drive us crazy hey

@Skygirl1983 yeah tell me about it. They blink and they're pregnant. There's so much out there about not getting pregnant, who knew it would take this much work to conceive.

@Bethy1995 doesn't sound like you're going through normal symptoms for af, keep a look out and make sure you note everything down.

I'm still here! A little more spotting, boobs hurt even walking, definitely congested and I keep having recurring heartburn.

Waiting for my frer to arrive then I'm on it! I'm either pregnant, or falling apart 😂

Side note; is it too early to put up my Christmas tree? X

@mellymoo86 yep. I had a coil for 9 years. Have used nothing in the way of contraception for about year, ok only actively trying for 3 cycles but I haven't even been caught out yet!! My friend who was getting tested for something, had to come off her pill, bang, pregnant without even trying!!

On another note whilst putting the world to rights! Lol! I have just spent all morning in a meeting with over industry representatives, out of a room of 35 people, I was the only woman!! The gender gap was alive and well in that meeting! Haha

Hi. New here. I am TTC with my first. Went off of birth control after 12 years. My first day of my last period was October 21st. My OPK showed me ovulating on November 4th + 5th, equally strong, so I think I ovulated on the 6th. I am about 7dpo. Am telling myself after reading these boards to not test until 14dpo to avoid driving myself crazy. I have been having a lot of symptoms but cannot tell if it is due to conception or effects of going off of the pill: gained so much water weight, am puffy all over, really bloated and constipated to the point it hurts after eating anything. My boobs are a bit sore, tired, headaches and backaches.

I enjoy reading everyones experiences.

And yes, put that tree up! I am finding distractions are good.

@Louu99 did the frer arrive😍 my silly little strips were due to arrive today but nope still not here so looks like it really will be Thursday I'll be testing again 😂

@Skygirl1983 I was just literally speaking to my manager in the US about that. The commercial leadership team is 12 male and one male (just my manager) and it just makes us cringe. We need more women in top roles!

I came off the pill last year but went on it for a month in July 2019. My cycles seems to be about the same every month but only been tracking from September and starting ttc from October. I know they say you need to let your body go back to normal but it seems like it already is. Argh wish I had a way of looking inside and making sure everything is fine. I'm thinking to just pay privately and go and get things checked but I know i need to calm my tits lol

@nt1992 it says they'll be here by 9pm 🙄 is that too late to test?!

@Kimberleah8 I'm gonna go and buy some extra Christmas decorations later, maybe the weekend I'll put the tree up haha I bought a new one from balsam hill and I can't wait to see it decorated! It's beautiful ❤️
And definitely wait a bit longer, myself and @nt1992 didn't and it's so disappointing getting negatives cause it's (likely) too early! Xx

@Louu99 is it a pack of 2? If so, I'd be tempted to take one today & one in the morning but that's just me 😂😂

If I save up some wee and then test, who knows... if it's negative then I'm not testing again. I'm 13dpo today, something should show surely! X

@Louu99 yeh I've always wondered if cloudy pee or light per would be better to test? I've always thought cloudy? I'm 13 DPO too so I'll be 14 DPO time I get to test again & I can almost see the BFN xx

@nt1992 look at the positives, it just means we get to be crazy and neurotic together for another month 😂
