@nt1992 agree with the above, try to wait a bit longer, it's still early! Stress will not help your symptoms and only cause you to symptom spot more! Fingers crossed for you though!!

I think I've had a bang to the head, after being super paranoid last month and convincing myself I was pregnant... I'm the complete opposite this month. It's not on my mind at all - is this a symptom?!? 😂😂

mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 11:19

@Ellsbells112 @Skygirl1983 I need to put my pregnancy tests away, like somewhere I can't reach lol. @Skygirl1983 truly hope it's good news for you, that would be a awesome present 💕

I don't get my ovulation tests, this app is useless, how is it low still 🤷🏽‍♀️

@mellymoo86 I found the tab you're on, easy@home was useless! As soon as I started putting the results in the tab across, Premom, it started to give me more accurate results. I hope that helps!

Also girls, I'm 11dpo and couldn't resist testing with a cheap internet one (my boobs are so sore, don't usually get this before AF) and can you guess... a BFN 🙁 not even a hint of a line. Gutted

Skygirl1983 · 11/11/2019 11:37

Haha! @CiaraJ01 stop symptom spotting! Lol!

@mellymoo86 I have given up with that app. It's awful!! I can never get a good picture and cant delete the ones I dont need!! I'm just going by the colour. Might not be accurate but neither is that bloody app! Aren't you using the CB digital ones too?

@Louu99 awww chick!! Hugs listen it still might be too early everyone is different but honestly save yourself the heart ache and only test if af is late from now in xx

@mellymoo86 lol dont touch them!! Haha wait it out!! I'm so aching to do one but I'm not going to haha

Ellsbells112 · 11/11/2019 12:12

I'm on a roll here doing a massive over haul cleaning!! One thing I hate...putting away clothes!! And bloody ironing urgh my OH wheres shirts all the time I bloody hate it!!

mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 12:14

@Skygirl1983 yeah it's useless. I still use it as it takes the picture at least, don't want to keep using a book to stick it in.

Yeah I'm using clearblue too. I stopped yesterday as I got my peak. After that the smiley will remain on the applicator for two days showing your highest peak days.

I've been reading into how the applicator works because I wasnt sure why I didn't have any 'high fertile' days which is a blinking smiley. So all women have a certain level of oestrogen in their body at all times. If that dramatically increases then the applicator picks this up and shows you your fertile days which is when it blinks. As soon as the LH hormone is detected then you get the static smiley which is your peak. It seems that my oestrogen and LH hormones peak at the same time which explains it.

Louu99 · 11/11/2019 12:15

@Ellsbells112 just do what I do, leave all the clean clothes in the basket and use that as your wardrobe 😂 I absolutely hate putting clothes away!! It has to be one of the worst jobs

mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 12:15

@Ellsbells112 lol sounds like you have a lot on. I'm slowly refurbishing the house, got my work trip coming up and Christmas shopping etc so lots to do.

Skygirl1983 · 11/11/2019 12:17

@Ellsbells112 I'm working from home today. Otherwise known as a huge skive! There was a huge traffic jam thanks to an accident on the motorway so didn't fancy sitting in it! I'm currently watching This morning with my fire on and a lovely wax melt burning. I hate mondays!

@Ellsbells112 I've had someone from Hillarys to measure the house up for curtains. Now listening to music and working. 😊 Date night tonight hopefully

Skygirl1983 · 11/11/2019 12:26

@mellymoo86 have you got a local company that can give you a quote too? I found Hillarys very expensive when they quoted me for blinds. They quoted me their "sale" price then I got a local company in who quoted me half of the hillarys "sale" price! Crazy!! Same with carpets. Shopped local and got a great deal compared to the big chains!

OP posts:
mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 12:32

@Skygirl1983 there aren't great local companies here unfortunately, unless they just don't have a website. Hillary's are pricey but his given us a 60% discount plus said to call the sales team for a further discount do hoping to get everything under £1000. I just emailed a few others so let's see what they come back with.

Are you putting a tree up? If so when?

Skygirl1983 · 11/11/2019 12:38

@mellymoo86 deffo shop around if its bespoke curtains you need. I just bought my curtains from Dunelm, they are great black out and thermal ones.

I love xmas. Tree will bo going up mid December. We like a traditional Red, Green and Gold theme with some Harry Potter baubles dotted around! Are you?

OP posts:
mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 12:46

@Skygirl1983 yeah will make sure I shop around. I like dunelm. I'll be putting it up first week of Dec. I've got a friend who's already put it up 😂 crazy woman! I'm going for a pink and silver theme this year. I hope it snows around that time

Skygirl1983 · 11/11/2019 13:07

That's definitely a bit early for xmas decs! Your theme sounds nice. What sort of colours are you going for in your refurb? We have recently decorated and have gone for warm natural tones with burnt orange/copper cushions and rug. I'm not into the whole grey stuff that's very popular just now.

OP posts:
mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 13:15

@Skygirl1983 my hubbies is more into the grey/blacks...he jokes and says he has sucked the colour out of me 😂 at the moment our colours are walnut/chantilly/ and bits of black/beige/red/ rose gold. I love rose gold and would have the whole house that colour if I could but hubby might divorce me lol. Your colour theme sounds nice, I love the orange/copper idea.

Skygirl1983 · 11/11/2019 13:22

@mellymoo86 your colours sound nice. I definitely prefer colour. In our hallway and bedrooms we have a brick effect wallpaper on the walls that back on to each other. We decided that was our little theme when we started and love it.

Ellsbells112 · 11/11/2019 13:41

@mellymoo86 @skygirl1983 oh your houses sound lovely!! I have a white/grey/silver theme with a little black lol. Love white walls and white oak flooring. I'm.juat about finished just going to mop! Then I've yotta run around this evening taking my son jiujitsu.

I dont think I'll be putting up a xmas tree as we are leaving for aus on the 11th and back 31st not much point!

CiaraJ01 · 11/11/2019 13:41

I hate putting away clothes!! I round up all clothes every fee days that have been 'placed' in the spare bedroom. Then have to spend an hour once or twice a week putting it all away!!
Without distracting from the blinds conversation - anyone reccomend chest of drawers?? IKEA and Next seemed a little flimsy, I need proper strong ones for when I'm shoving them closed with too much inside 😂

mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 13:41

I was randomly thinking that it would be good to share our cycle calendars as we go, especially the ladies who get BFP this month. I'm always intrigued as to when I am supposed to dtd. I know it completely varies and sperm lives for 5 days etc but would be good to see anyways.

This is my one this month. Green is fertile week, I ovulated (still ovulating) from 10th - 12th Nov, heart is when we dtd.

End of November, jump on board!
Ellsbells112 · 11/11/2019 13:42

@ciaraj01 🤣🤣🤣 shoving clothes in, what I just did! Glad I'm not the only one! Theres a tall white one I got from argos for about 170 pounds but its flat packed...it really holds the stuffing technique though 🤣🤣

mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 13:43

@CiaraJ01 these aren't chest of draws as such but got this from Ikea. Very cost effective, solid and stable and lots of space

mellymoo86 · 11/11/2019 13:43

Skygirl1983 · 11/11/2019 13:45

@CiaraJ01 I have IKEA Malm bedroom furniture in every bedroom, drawers, ward etc and think they are quite sturdy. And come in various sizes and colours.

@Ellsbells112 Aus definitely sounds much better than putting up xmas trees! Lol
