Moving on from the October threads, join in those that will be testing at the end of November. (Which also happens to be my birthday!)

Good evening ladies! Sorry had a uzy few days and trying to keep my mind off the 2ww so not had a chance to sign on.

Glad your week has been such an improvement @Skygirl1983!! Sometimes men just need reminding!! I've not tried the preseed yet - the syringe puts me off!! But if it has other perks I might be tempted 😂

Is everyone in the 2ww now?? I'm 5 days DPO and not sure if I'm extra relaxed or have randomly decided it's not going to happen this month but I've barely thought about it! Once I'm back at work I'm sure it'll be back on my mind constantly though.

PS I'm so glad I'm not the only one who daydreams about announcing it!! 😂

@CiaraJ01 deffo give it a go!! The syringe isnt too bad. It's quite small tbh. But the perks definitely outweigh the negative 😂😂

It is quite good to know we are all as mad as each other when it comes to ttc 😂😂

Also, not on the tww quite yet. Should OV either tomorrow or Tuesday so nearly there! The tww is definitely the worst bit of it all!!

@CiaraJ01 I'll be on the 2ww to soon. But going to try my best to just forget about it. I know I'm going to be symptom spotting though. Argh!

@Skygirl1983 do your opk tests normally get a lot darker compared to the control line? My ones never get darker than it so I have to rely on the clearblue ones.

@mellymoo86 this is only my 2nd month using the strips and last month I was away with work so well and truly missed my peak! So not entirely sure. Today was darker than yesterday but not darker than the control line yet. But hopefully it will do. I'll use CB next month if this month doesnt work. If I get an pain in my side over the next 2 days I'll know I'm ovulating.

@Skygirl1983 it's good you get ovulation symptoms, then at least you will know for sure. I need to see if I get any in the next day or two. I've been using the soft cup, it's much easier than I thought and less messy.

@mellymoo86 yeah I always get some sort of side twinge which is good. I'll have a look at the soft cup for next month. I imagine it's not the most romantic thing to do straight after though?? Haha!!

@Skygirl1983 haha yeah def not romantic but you can put it in discreetly. Just pop into the loo and do it afterwards. I've kept it in for about 6-8 hours at a time. Hope it actually does something, time will tell.

What is this preseed stuff? Does it actually help?

I'm currently 10dpo and my boobs are soooooo sore! Only from today though really, so I'm thinking it might not be my time! X

I might give it a go next month! I'm hoping the OPK strips have really increased our chances, so I'm trying to stay positive I'll not it next month!!
@mellymoo86 it's so hard not to symptom spot!! Your mind really does go into overdrive! I'm glad the weekend has got me through the first week almost so only one to go 🤞🤞

@CiaraJ01 yeah tell me about it, we just need to keep busy as much as possible. I think the only time I don't think about it is when I sleep lol

1st month of trying for number 2- AF due 22nd so at the very start of the tww. Feels surreal to be back again!
Stocked up on conceive plus as it took us a year of trying last time but I got pregnant twice in two months once we used it last time so fingers crossed!

@Louu99 Google it, it has great reviews. Its a lube that's supposed to help sperm and aid conception. A colleague of mine suggested it and she conceived quite quickly with it.

@mystie sorry to hear about your Mmc- big hugs. I've also been told you are more fertile after a loss (I conceived again straight after an ectopic after a year of ttc) so fc for you!
I found out super early as the positive symptoms were torture and I did a frer 9dpo. No idea what to think this time round as realistically our chances of conceiving are pretty low, but I have hope! But will probably drive myself mad symptom spotting!

Update - been up half the night just not been able to sleep, boobs have been sore non stop, mostly underneath and on the sides. Been feeling queasy maybe once or twice a day on and off. Took strip test with fmu BFN. First response arrives today so whatever that says I'm going with, but I'm slowly losing hopes and beginning to think these symptoms are in my head

FMU test isn't getting any stronger, tbh none of them are, I have now took 30 strip tests all with shadow/faint lines, surely they're not all evaps? I'm such a worrier and worrying because they're not getting darker, but it's still early isn't it? 11 DPO?

@nt1992 it's definitely still early! Implantation can happen anywhere between 8-12 DPO. Not to mention my friend found out she was pregnant only 5 days after her missed period. Wait until the first response test, but even that is only going to be up to 60% accurate at this stage.

@nt1992 it's still super early. Like @mellymoo86 said implantation may only have just taken place. I drove myself mad first month symptom spotting so much that I convinced myself I was pregnant. I wasnt. But I was a nightmare during the tww. Stressing yourself out is only going to make your days unbearable. If you can, hold off the FRER until tomorrow. If its negative this afternoon you'll only be more disappointed. And stress isnt great for conceiving. I'm taking more of a relaxed approach to it all now, it'll happen when it happens.

@Skygirl1983 agreed! @nt1992 just think that whether you are or you're not stress and anxiety won't affect you positively so as hard as it is please try to take your mind off it. 🤗

@skygirl1983 @mellymoo86 agreed. I'll be testing only when period is due and hasn't come. Even if I do drive myself bonkers during the 2ww wishing and hoping lol

@Ellsbells112 me too this month. I'm due on around my birthday. It'll be the best birthday present ever if I get a BFP
