Anyone fancy a little obsessing? 😂
I'm apparently ovulating today according to peak clearblue yesterday and my apps.
I never used to have such a long luteal phase as it was only 10 days so having to wait for 14 is going to drive me nuts 🙈

Haha 😂 @TigerJoy I didn't know what it stood for until coming on here! 😂😂

Gigi318 · 19/10/2019 21:13

@TigerJoy that cracked me up hahaha. I had to google it as I knew people were referring to AF but not what it meant 😂🙈

@Lauraliverpool eeek, let us know if its not. CM all but gone now 😬 just want to test now. Getting closer 🤞🏻🙈

Lauraliverpool · 19/10/2019 22:08

@Gigi318 I think it is. Ahh only few more days to go! I have everything crossed for you 🌠🍀🤞

Lauraliverpool · 19/10/2019 22:10

Do you know girls is it possible to have ovulation twice in one month? Only because when I put in an ovulation calculator the two periods I had in September it gave me two dates for this month?

TigerJoy · 19/10/2019 22:17

@lauraliverpool how long have you been trying?

I've been referred to a fertility clinic, but I've heard they might just say go away and keep trying...

Lauraliverpool · 19/10/2019 22:44

@TigerJoy about 4 months now, I'm worried something is wrong even tho I've had tests done at the miscarriage clinic they came back normal and projesterone at the time was 50. I think it could be down the fact also that me and hubby might not be having enough sex through the month, I was saying to him today we need to be trying more through the month, just been reading on the NHS website and it says like every 2 to 3 days so is that like every other day say? and also with my periods seeming to vary by a few days makes it more confusing. With having my little boy I don't know if it would make any difference getting a referral for fertility testing but then when I had projesterone done earlier this year the doctor did say I would be referred if the levels were still the same. How long have you been trying? I wouldn't be fobbed off by the fertility clinic push for the testing.

TigerJoy · 19/10/2019 23:11

How old are you? Nhs has different suggestions of time to wait after trying - I went to the GP after 6 months as I'm ancient (41). If you're worried after your miscarriage maybe see the gp after 6 months? I'm so sorry for your loss 💐

Every other day is the ideal but we rarely manage that with DH's shift work, plus I've had a series of bugs the last few months. I've been tracking my cycle and we've been aiming to do it every other day during that period (apparently about the same as doing it every day). We might go 2 weeks around my period without doing it. DH is also super stressed at work which doesn't do anything for his sex drive either.

This month I think we gave it a great shot. Dtd on the first day of my fertile period, again the day I ovulated and the day after that as well. The day after THAT I came down with a hideous streaming cold with a fever so neither of us wanted to do it again!

TigerJoy · 19/10/2019 23:13

We've been trying properly since Jan, trying without really discussing it before them for about 4 months.

I don't think you already having a little one makes a difference as you still might need help

Lauraliverpool · 19/10/2019 23:36

I'm 38, 39 next march. Thank you it's been a shitty few years cause it was the 3rd miscarriage.

It can be difficult at times to be together more with my husband getting up early for work, being tired, me being tired and looks after our little boy, just got to try and make more time. I thought we might have stood a good chance this month as we dtd 3 times on what I thought was the fertile window and going by the ovulation tests too. I think when I go I'm going to ask for some advice and see what they say.

Gigi318 · 20/10/2019 07:37

Morning ladies, how are we all? Happy Sunday!!! I hope you all have something nice planned for the day 🥂

@Lauraliverpool thank you chick. Not long to go now. How are you feeling today? If you're cycle length is shorter than the number of days in the month then absolutely. Have you got O at the start and end of the month??
I am all very new to this (cycle 2 TTC1) so I don't know much about the fertility testing but I would say definitely aim to DTD every other day from end of AF as you can prep the swimmers ready for FW. Then every day for three days over your peak. If you can. It's hard and can be like 5-6 in a week, but it should do it! It's tough though isn't it 💖💖💖

Lauraliverpool · 20/10/2019 09:13

@Gigi318 I'm not too bad thanks Hun, planning on going out with my mum and little boy today as hubby is off out to watch the football with his brother, have you got plans for today?.
I put in the NHS ovulation calculator the period I had at the beginning of September and then the one was lasted like just two days at the end of September and it gave two fertile windows. I'm just getting so confused by it all. I'm definitely going to try and dtd every other day like you say and more so over the peak period, can say that again. 💓💓💓

Gigi318 · 20/10/2019 09:56

@Lauraliverpool that sounds like a lovely day. You have such a lovely mum!!
Absolutely and that should help. Are you using any apps at all? That might help you inpoint it more regularly! 🤞🏻

Lauraliverpool · 20/10/2019 10:52

I'm very lucky @Gigi318 💕 yep I'm using Flo and clue app was thinking of ditching them few weeks ago cause they were starting to stress me out but still got them on my phone.

Gigi318 · 20/10/2019 11:04

@Lauraliverpool oh amazing. Are they quite accurate for you with O and when AF is due? I'm feeling rubbishy now - emotional and just off. Think AF might be on her way 😔💔

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2019 11:07

Morning loveless ❤
Sorry to hear about AF @Lauraliverpool

I'm meant to be tracking my bbt but we've not been getting enough sleep to do it. I'll still do my ovulation sticks from tomorrow.
I was feeling really down yesterday but we've been looking at buying a house so I'm excited about that :)

@Treaclepie19 morning love! Oh no! Yes definitely do the OPKs. What CD are you now??? I think I'm going to be out this month. I just have a feeling 😞

catsandkid · 20/10/2019 12:00

AF arrived this morning so it's on to cycle #3 for baby #2 for us! Wishing everyone still in TwW the best of luck and baby dust!

I've got the CBFM and Ava bracelet ready for this cycle. These long cycles do get me down though - last one was 40 days and things are so irregular. Meh!

Today I plan to consume all the wine and chocolate!

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2019 12:10

Only CD5 today. Though it's gone so fast!
Just made some jam tarts with my little boy :) organised chaos 😂

I still have everything crossed for you @Gigi318!!

Sorry to hear that @catsandkid, enjoy your wine ❤

@Treaclepie19 OMG 😍 were they easy to make? I'd love to make them!! Hehehe I can imagine! Thank you chick, but I feel so hormonal today and still spotting so I just feel defeated. And worried something is wrong if it is AF early!! Woohoo almost time to get DTD! 😘

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2019 12:17

@Gigi318 you never know, it could be implantation if its early!!! Cant wait for you to test Grin

So easy to make! We did cheat and used ready to roll pastry 🙈
We made some jammy pastry snails too :)

@Treaclepie19 I though that for sure with the pinkish brown spotting Thursday and Friday. Yesterday I was all but clear, but now it's back and darker. Don't feel crampy or anything, just emotional - which is definitely because of the CM/spotting. So we shall have to see what happens!
Oh that's amazing. I will have to try that! OMG how cuteeeee 💙

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2019 14:14

@Gigi318 It could go either way! I've had a pregnancy with bleeding that was heavy and even that was put down to implantation.

Snails!

@Treaclepie19 oh really?? Was it brown or red? Do you remember how long it lasted? Sorry to ask?? It's just good for peace of mind! Oh they look so cuteeee. How do they taste??

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2019 14:26

Bright red @Gigi318. Lasted a few days definitely.

They're yummy :) Could do with a bit more jam!

Gigi318 · 20/10/2019 14:58

@Treaclepie19 thank you so much. That's definitely reassuring. Still brown at the mo, but we shall see!
