I don't understand why people go on about opening a test up. The little strips you buy aren't covered by plastic.... They're open to the elements, if opening a test had any effect on the result then why would you be able to buy the cheap strips? It has no effect. Nowhere on any box or instructions or website does it say do not break open the test

Lochness the problem I think is they’re not getting any darker. I can see faint lines so I suspect you might be having a chemical/non viable pregnancy.

@LochNessMumster87 sadly I think it's a chemical, hate to say it but I had the same - my lines never got darker, if after this many days your still struggling to see it, id be thinking it's not positive, I'm really sorry, I have everything crossed for you that were wrong and it's a super early bfp!!

@LochNessMumster87 let's wait for the FRER. Have you got any of the strip test? I find that they are more sensitive the FRER. X

I read on some other boards that ic's are more sensitive than cb or frer. But I used all my cheap ebay tests. And every single one had a pink line.... Except the one my sister done.

@LochNessMumster87 No body is saying there wasn't a line but you first posted on Saturday, so if you are pregnant the line should be darker by now! When is your period due do you have a idea xx

My tests with DD were that light for nearly 2 weeks, then 2.5 weeks boom massive dark line - I had my period 1st of December I only had sex once that month when I stupidly bumped in to my ex - DS dad, on the 20th, I know this because it was my Christmas night out, I had to go for an emergency scan because I was in agony, I was 7 weeks pregnant.......... She's 10

Maybe you should get a clear blue that has the digital display ? Or go get a blood test? But I feel like you shouldn't have to really examine that close to see a positive .

Did the FRERs arrive? I hope you get an answer soon.

Desperatley waiting for the postman. Praying they come soon. Something else I've noticed the past couple of days apart from the nausea and back pain and crampy pain..... I have had anxiety for a long time... Bad anxiety. Linked to hormones and pcos my doctor says. Like sweating at the slightest thing kind of anxiety.... And for the past couple of days... Its gone. I haven't sweated at all. Because my fiance works away... I worry about being in the house alone with my son, I usually check doors and windows like 10 times before I can even sleep... But I haven't been, I've been checking once then going to bed. So weird. I read online hormonal changes can increase or decrease anxiety.... Its so strange. I know it doesn't sound like much but for someone who has something so extreme to just gone is the strangest thing. I really hope these tests come today because fiance is home tomorrow 🤞 will update as soon as I have news... Good or bad x

I definitely see a line. Fingers crossed for you.

If you turn the flash off on your phone, you won't have the glare issue. I also have never seen a test say hold in urine for 15 seconds. I could never manage to pee for that long! If you hold it in too long or floods the test which could wash out the dye. I think that might be what has happened with the clear blues and also that they are less sensitive. Good luck with your test tomorrow.
