Thought the old one was getting a bit full so I'd start a new one. I'll attempt tagging as many as I can

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! 😊

@Motherofkittens28 The first cycle there was a posibility of being pregnant (though not even a big one as we'd stopped DTD around 2 days before ovulation), I convinced myself I was pregnant - even had nausea and was sick. I do think it gets into your head a little. That being said there's no reason this couldn't be the month for you - inguess that's what makes it so hard! All the best. When is your AF due?

@Lottiepink That sounds like the best way to approach it, just being relaxed does a big oart of the job supposedly. Enjoy the holiday!

@lunasunshine I know what you mean, I am 31 and hadn't been bothered/felt ready to start a family till a year ago, when suddenly I went into baby mode. My OH needed some time to get on the same page and we wanted to wait till our wedding, but now it feels like I've already waited a year even though we've only just started to TTC!

Anny27 · 21/08/2019 20:32

@Macbless i think next month i will stop temping after ovulation is confirmed as honestly it stresses me sleep out as i wake up wondering if its time to temp or wo dering whether it will be accurate as i have woken up multiple times during the night! You might have a more relaxed honeymoom if you leave it all behind!

@validuser did you ovulate as expected?

I've had a very heightened sense of smell today at 8dpo.

Wish i didnt symptom spot and then get my hopes up

Motherofkittens28 · 21/08/2019 20:54

@Raizelrea AF is due on 5 September but I'm pretty convinced I ovulated on Sunday. I generally ovulate between day 11 and day 14 but I'm not temp tracking at the moment so I'm not sure. I was using natural cycles for contraception so I temped everyday for a year and a half and got to know my cycle pretty well.

Motherofkittens28 · 21/08/2019 20:56

@sunshine8888 when is your AF due? It's really nice to talk to people going through the same thing.

lunasunshine · 21/08/2019 21:09

@Raizelrea yup I definitely get that! We’ve only officially been trying for one month but it feels SO much longer!

Macbless · 21/08/2019 21:30

@Anny27 @Motherofkittens28 I used natural cycles for a year as contraception and got use to temping every day so i’m Really use to do it and usually it doesn’t really bother me as I wake up at similar time. The last cycle my temp dipped the day before my AF arrived and felt as gutted as if I’d got a BFN. Then having to wait for the AF was crap. My AF is due the 2nd day of the honeymoon but I know i’ll Start reading into my temps even tho they will be all over the shop from changing time zones. So really it probably is best leave it all behind and just have a nice honeymoon.....and having a BFP rather than AF would be lovely! Xx

Macbless · 21/08/2019 21:32

@anny27 how many DPO are you now? So hard not to symptom spot!

@motherofkittens28 what made you stop temping?

Motherofkittens28 · 21/08/2019 21:41

@macbless I had trouble with it because I wasn't sleeping well (only sleeping about 2hrs and then waking up) I then I forgot my thermometer when we went on holiday and just kind of got out of the habit really.

Sunshine8888 · 21/08/2019 22:07

@motherofkittens28. I think 1 September - I’m still waiting for my cycles to settle down after the pill. I’m basing that on having a second cycle of 45 days ish ☹️

Anny27 · 21/08/2019 22:14

@Macbless currently 8dpo :) thinking i will test on sunday at 12dpo (providing temps dont decrease) :)

Fingrrs crossed you get your BFP on your honeymoon then!!!

Blossomingflower94 · 22/08/2019 07:21

@motherofkittens28 AF due for me on the 5th too. There is a few of us all around this date so we can keep eachother sane 😊

Raizelrea · 22/08/2019 07:34

@Motherofkittens28 My AF is due on the 6th! All of my apps are predicting ovulation between today and Saturday, though like you I think I may have ovulated earlier, Monday or Tuesday I reckon - though mine's not as evidenced as yours as I've never temped, I just came to the conclusion based on my CM and sex drive. Time will tell I guess! What kinds of symptoms do you get when you ovulate?

@Macbless Have a fantastic time on your honeymoon! It would be very special to get your BFP there, but worst case scenario if you don't at least there's the holiday to distract you. How long are you going for? I had this vision of conceiving on my honeymoon but my cycles were not too cooperative, was late due to prewedding stress so I got my period a day before we went on honeymoon. Ours was just under two weeks so I figured there was still a chance but I think I ovulated just after we got back (or ot just wasn't our month)

Motherofkittens28 · 22/08/2019 08:34

@raizelrea it's a combo of CM and feeling very frisky followed by ovulation cramping. We DTD on Saturday and Sunday and I started feeling odd on Tuesday. I just phoned 111 this morning because I woke up with really bad stabbing uterine pain, different from period pain or ovulation pain and I was also so nauseous I was sick. They told me there is no way it's related to possibly pregnancy as it's too early, basically was told I'm a hypochondriac! Maybe I am but it still flipping hurt this morning! I'm sure it's too early for implantation and all the articles say that pain is very mild. I feel like I'm going nuts!

@macbless have a fab honeymoon! Sometimes relaxing is just the thing!

XjustagirlX · 22/08/2019 10:11

@ELW85 and @LokiCat that’s for sending me the graphs.

So AF still hasn’t arrived! I’m on CD37. My temps are still all over the place. I took my temp the other day and it just said Hi 🤷‍♀️

I had creamy CM yesterday, my boobs are tingly and I’ve been really tired for a couple of weeks now.

Should I start doing ovulation tests now and/or have sex in case ovulation will happen later this cycle or should we just give up until next cycle? What do you think?

Raizelrea · 22/08/2019 13:08

@Motherofkittens28 Yeah the CM and feeling frisky is what makes me think I've ovulated earlier than anticipated as I'd expect both to increase during ovulation, not decrease. Although I did feel some cramping this morning but I don't think ovulation cramping is a regular thing for me.

I hope you feel better soon either way! Could you have a UTI? The pain and nausea would fit that 🙁 I can understand what you mean, last month I had loads of pain in my lower abdomen/pelvis on one side (for about a week so definitely not ovulation or implantation), had bloodwork and ultrasound done but they couldn't find anything so it made me feel like I'm crazy!

Motherofkittens28 · 22/08/2019 14:11

@raizelrea that's really odd, wonder what was going on. No, not a uti, I get them quite frequently and this is definitely different. I guess I'll find out! Hopefully I don't get a repeat tomorrow, this morning was not fun

Anny27 · 22/08/2019 16:34

@XjustagirlX are your cycles usually this long? I would dtd every 3 days or so JUST incase. But probably start doing opks next cycle
Sorry your cycle is mucking you around:(

Any temp experts? I had a slight temp dip on 6dpo followed by a rise and wondering whether this could be implantation or just a temp blip

Sunshine8888 · 23/08/2019 08:13

Happy Friday everyone! So I’m 5/6DPO today and been getting horrible stabbing pains in the ovaries, it varies side to side! Very odd! Can’t wait for the bank holiday weekend, I need the distraction! Going away to see family so try to relax, have a few drinks... there’s nothing I can do at this stage and it’s too early to be symptom spotting! Then when I get back to work Tuesday I’ll be 9-10DPO and probably going crazy 😜

Anny27 · 23/08/2019 16:01

Happy Friday @Sunshine8888 :)

I tested this morning at 10dpo and think i saw the faintest line......going to retest tomorrow but think it may have been me wishing to see a line rather than actually a line :/

Hows everyone else doing?

@Lozzlepop did AF arrive yet?

LokiCat · 23/08/2019 16:15

@Anny27 your chart does look very promising! I have everything crossed that there is a line tomorrow morning 💕🤞🏽

Sunshine8888 · 23/08/2019 17:13

@anny27 wow that’s a good sign!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for that solid bfp tomorrow! I’m really trying not to symptom spot because it’s too early but it’s so hard not to notice little things and wonder.

For those ladies who measure bbt can you recommend a thermometer? I think I read about one that uploads the temp to an app or something automatically or is it Bluetooth? Anyway I’m thinking of starting to chart next cycle so I can check if I’m ovulating so any advice would be appreciated

PrincessConsuela12 · 23/08/2019 17:27

@Anny27 That's exciting! Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Motherofkittens28 · 23/08/2019 17:42

@anny27, thats great news! Fingers crossed it gets even stronger!
Hope everyone had had a fab day and is ready for the bank holiday weekend!

ELW85 · 23/08/2019 19:15

@Anny27 - good luck for retesting, got everything crossed for you!

@Sunshine8888 - I highly recommend the Femometer. It’s the one that some of the ladies here use. It’s got a great app, uploads automatically and has a feature to assess your OPKs.

Anny27 · 23/08/2019 19:53

Thanks everyone for the support! I dont know how everyone manages to get good pictures of their faint lines haha. My camera doesnt see what my eyes do! Will let you know of its positive tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞

How are all the pregnant ladies feeling? @LokiCat @ELW85 @PrincessConsuela12

@Sunshine8888 i am also a fan of the femometer one - super easy to use :D
