End of August bus

Hey guys decided to make an end of August bus as there is already an August bus and by the time we get to the middle of aug we will need a new one anyway and it will keep us all around the same time in our cycles.

@Something20 I really wouldn't worry if you don't have any symptoms. With both of my pregnancies I didn't get any symptoms till I was 6 weeks or so! With my eldest, I had really really sensitive teeth (which was v usual) just before my BFP, but that was it. None of the traditional symptoms.

@Tamalama fingers crossed it was implantation bleeding. Don't feel freaked out about checking your cervix - it's your body! Might be weird the first time you do it but you'll soon get used to it. I use a menstrual cup so am possibly being a bit blase about it but you do soon get over the strangeness. As Sophieb said, just put one foot on the toilet seat and one finger up and have a feel around. Should be lower down and firmer at this stage in your cycle.

I'm still nonethewiser as to whats going on with me this cycle. I had one last opk left so did that mid morning and got a line but it was definitely lighter than the control line, unlike my opk two days ago. so if I haven't ovulated it doesn't look likely to happen. I'll see if my temp rise happens tomorrow or the next day but at the moment haven't a clue what's going on. I have now read that poor sleep can affect bbt charting and I've not been sleeping well the past couple of weeks, and have been waking up at random times in the night, so don't even know if I can trust my chart anyway

@Something20 This is cycle 7 I find the disappointment gets easier each cycle though!!! I feel like crap today but way too early for any symptoms. I'm going on the 10th Sept to portugal for a week. I always find the second week harder during the TWW and OH is back on evenings so i'll be sitting on my own at night. I've the week planned though nails one night going to give myself a facial another night then do some packing and make a list of what i need to buy for hols. I wish it was next week I was on hols as that would def take my mind off the TWW.

So I had some fertility boosting (apparently!) acupuncture today. Has anyone tried this before?? Should I dtd tonight now I've had it done? I should have asked what to expect lol. Got another round next Thursday too.

I'm hoping it either makes my period arrive or gets me my BFP.

@wannabemum38 I know how you feel I'm 3 DPO and it's dragging and I've backache which is really uncomfortable while I'm sitting at my desk in work.

Bet you can't wait to get away! I'll find out just before we go if it's BFN or BFP and it would obviously make a big difference to my holiday too.
I work evenings but that means I'm in the house all day everyday on my own which does not help with the TWW haha. Ahh good for you! Enjoy the time to yourself to pamper yourself.
It's only cycle 1 so I don't really know what I'm doing but also not holding my breath for anything

@Something20 My backache is getting worse going to have a bath when i get home hurry up 5.30.
Oh I can't wait for holidays obviously it would be better if I got my BFP but if I don't at least I can drink and try harder next month even though I really felt positive about this month after doing so much DTD!!!
Oh it would be so good for you for it to happen the first month I really hope your one of the lucky ones!!!
I'm fine when I'm at home because i keep busy with DD or cleaning!!! It's work it the killer for me!!!

I hope the backache means something for you! And although it hurts I hope it sticks around! 🤞🏼 yeah that's what I thought about the drinking! 🤣

@Something20 I wish I was busy Normally Fridays are busy for me so Hopefully tomorrow goes fast. Going to relax with a glass of wine then tomorrow night. Minding my niece and nephew Saturday all day and night should be a crazy house with the 3 of them aged 3,4 and 6[sceptical]

About 5dpo for me ladies and I'm so over the wait already. I spent this morning going back to when I got my BFP for DS in my Ovia app and comparing all the symptoms. The key one for me last time was major cramping which I've started to get today but I know it's WAY too soon. Ugh the second week of the 2ww is so much more fun than the first!

How's everyone feeling?

@jaysnr feeling positive sometimes and negative others! I am about 4Dpo I think. I had a positive opk on Saturday evening.
The left hand side twinges I have had have gone! Is that good/bad who knows!
As it's school holidays and we've been away, my diet has been rubbish. Loads of chips and ice cream and biscuits so the crampy feeling is probably my body saying "pls give me chicken and vegetables like normal"

@flissity haha I could have written the same thing - I've been stuffing my face for days then acting like feeling sick is an implantation symptom when really I just need to put down the chips

Also @jaysnr if I put weight on, first it goes to my boobs. Today I was like 'hmmmt boobs feel bigger'
Yeah duuhhh that's all the crap you've been eating 🤭🤭 nothing to do with anything else!!!

Backache and cramps and last two evenings funny taste in mouth but only 5 DPO hate this TWW already

So 11dpo and I'm an emotional wreck! Just spent an hour crying about a meeting in work, missing my little girl, not being pregnant, everything really! I've been feeling really drained the past 2 days just want Monday to hurry up feel like this tww is having a proper strain on me mentally

@sao81 I'm also 11dpo and it's driving me crazy, my week has been slow. Hopefully it's a good Sign and you get your bfp, when will you test? X

6dPO today, had the worst day at work and just makes me wish for BFP even more so I can go on mat leave and then never go back! Haha!

@Absa that's so funny. I also secretly daydream about going on Mat leave. I enjoyed it both times before!

@olivebranch26 I tested on Tuesday stupidly and got a bfn so just trying to wait as long as I can really! Might have a go tomorrow but hoping willpower will get me through

My Ovia app says I can test in 8 days time 😬😬 that would put me at 11/12 dpo.
I am extremely impatient
