End of August bus

Hey guys decided to make an end of August bus as there is already an August bus and by the time we get to the middle of aug we will need a new one anyway and it will keep us all around the same time in our cycles.

Hi guys,

This is cycle 2 after mirena removal. Had a positive opk I think!! See picture.
Feels good to know where I am in cycle as af not particularly showed up, so wasn't too sure.

Meant to add those other negative opks were lead up to tonight's.
I think I am on CD12. My period never really ended up being much of a proper one, so wasn't 100% sure!

Anyway- we will be getting busy next few days...

Feel very happy about it. The one before is from early afternoon. We have just been out for a meal and I thought I would test again ~ thank goodness I did!
Spies how easy it is for people to miss the surge and not get a positive. I will test tomorrow morning purely out of interest..

@flissity yeah I think it can easily be missed. This is the first month I've properly used opks. I'm on cycle 5 but I think I relied too much on ewcm and ovulation pains and May have just missed the surge each month. This month I used clearblue digital opks and got my static smiley face. I'm now 6dpo and keeping everything crossed for my bfp in a few days...

It is interesting picking up on things, I have been noting them in Ovia.

Hope you guys don’t mind but I just need to get something off my chest. This isn’t an invite to a pity party I just feel I need to write my thoughts down.

I am on CD21. I do think I am already out. One of the reasons is because I have had one previous pregnancy which I chose to terminate 10 years ago . I had very severe implantation pain. I remember waking up in the night in agony and crawling to the bathroom to take some painkillers. I am basically assuming I am not pregnant unless I get v bad pains again.

I do not regret my decision to have an abortion at all but I just think it will be Sod’s law that I managed to get pregnant whilst on the pill and then when I actually want to I just get this feeling it’s not going to happen quickly. Maybe I am just feeling a little guilty.

I’m generally a very positive person but I’ve just got this nagging feeling. On the plus side I know I have the possibility to become pregnant.

I am in Devon with all my family this week. a welcome distraction before AF rears her ugly head!! I have 5 nieces and nephews so far! They are so amazing, I hope my children turn out as wonderful as them.

@rosina38 some pregnancies can come with no symptoms at all! I had symptoms last month and wasn't even pregnant, think its very easy to get lost in the symptom checking as I'm guilty of it myself. The decision you made was the right one for you at that time so never feel bad about it. Lots of love and luck xxx

@rosina38 I think you just need to hold on to the knowledge that your body is obviously able to get pregnant.
What happened, happened. And I don't think you can worry that you're not going to get pregnant now because of choices in the past.
Everyone is different and I am sure that every cycle is slightly different for each woman too so I wouldn't worry about the lack of severe pain this time, you just can't tell!

Have just been doing a bit of reading around SMEP.
Haven't followed it as yet but interesting about the 3 days in a row and then miss a day and then DTD one more time.
Just thinking, my "one more time" would be today which I'd kinda discounted because thought no point after OV except for if we wanted to.
Difficult this month as DH is doing stupid amount of overtime 14 hour days 13 days straight, 2 days off and then back to 13 days so he's exhausted. But I might see if he's up for one more go tonight and then I'll let him rest until his 2 days off 😂
Have had a dull tummy ache the last 24 hours so I guess there's a possibility I ovulated later than I than I thought!

@Absa I think it's definitely worth doing it after you think you ovulated from what I've read online you don't just suddenly become low straight away again and in apps for a couple days after o it says 'chance to get pregnant'

Hi so I did another opk this morning and got another smiley face plus the lines were darker when I ejected. When I put this on flo
It moved my ov date to tomorrow.

@mrssunshinexxx this must be why yours moved to Friday, if positive on wed & thurs you would ov around Friday. Keeping everything crossed for you (and us all) . About to get busy this afternoon and follow @Sophieb15 legs up example 🤣🤣🤣.

@asba we dtd after ov too, as you are still fertile for a day or so afterwards, between 12-24hrs after the egg is released

Good morning ladies went out last night and had sharp pains so I may have O'd last night 🤔 i wasn't going to do OPKs but was interested to know as CD 14
Is early for me I have a few cheap OPK so took one this morning so dunno is this leading up to a positive and and I haven't O'd yet or would my surge have been yesterday and this is getting lighter 🤦🏻‍♀️
I should have just done the cheapies from CD 12 🤣🤣what does everyone think?

@Sophieb15 I think they get darker as you're due to OV and lighter after you OV so could be either tbh but the good thing is that you have dtd enough to have all bases covered lol.

@AmIseeingRight I'll do another one later after dinner and then I'll do one in the morning if they are both lighter I def O'd last night. Will still BD next three days just in case 🤞🏼

@Sophieb15 that could be just before or just after ovulation. Good idea using some more to be sure.

Mine are still negative but are slowly getting darker. Tiny temp rise this morning but I went out last night drinking so can’t really read too much into that.

Managed to DTD yesterday, will again today as EWCM is still here, even if opk is negative. I’m going to chuck everything at it this month.

@rosina38 enjoy your break. Don’t feel guilty for the past, if the time was not right, and you were not ready then you made the best decision for you. If I had fallen pregnant 10 years ago I would have done the same, I wouldn’t have been ready or emotionally mature enough to deal with it.

A friend of DH have just announced they’re expecting. I’m happy for them, but can’t help but wonder when It’ll happen for us. I know it’s still early days, only on cycle 3, but can’t help but feel I’ll be in this for the long haul and it’ll take ages.

Still, most healthy couples will get pregnant within a year. Must keep reminding myself that.
