@Makingawish this is only the third cycle but i’m 36 almost 37 so I feel a bit of pressure from that! When did you get your static smiley? My Af is now due 14th August with the later ovulation. Any time close to you? Xx

@Anny27 thanks love! I'm sorry AF showed up! Take care of yourself and fingers crossed this cycle is the one 🤞🏽❤️ hormones can make our emotions so crazy!!

@Lozzlepop I'm good thank you. SMEP is okay, have only DTD twice so far - think I've got a week to go before I get a positive OPK. Annoyingly DH's work had to cancel his rest days, so he's been getting home after midnight last few days (continues till tomorrow!), which is when I'm normally sleeping. Going to try and stay up tonight, so most likely will be shattered at work tomorrow. The things we do to TTC! 🙈

@Anny27 thanks for the reply, new to these chats! I have been doing ovulation tests on and off, going to keep up with them now daily. Also have the flo app to track changes see if that will help. I know the doctor will just tell me to lose weight.

I was on the implant, had it out and didn't have a period for 4 months, had 1 and haven't had one since.

Argghhh!

I know everyone is in the same boat but am seeing so many success stories I am hopeful I can get some advice.

Also saw an article on medication to bring on a period. Does anyone have any experience with that?

@MrsH497 good job you using the OPKs! My app and the OPKs don’t seem to be rallying up either. Good luck with the 3 days in a row! Xx

@Macbless I got my static smiley on Sunday which brought my ovulation forward a day or 2 so now AF is predicted 12th August! When does your TWW start? X

@hopeandpray1988 got my positive one today, going to do another one tomorrow and see if it's still peak, usually get 2 days of peak. Good luck for tomorrow!

How do you ladies all feel around ovulation? I feel utterly exhausted this cycle, need to dtd tonight and I feel like I can't be bothered... totally not like me, normally always in the mood, no matter what cycle day 🤣I've looked back and normally a few days before I've logged slight tiredness, but this is unreal! Also felt so sickly today... really hope I'm not coming down with a bug ☹️ seems like it tho! Best dtd incase I'm totally ill tomorrow 😬

@Makingawish hopefully my temp will have risen in the morning and TWW have begun! If the apps right then my cycle will be 31 days long which is much longer than usually (normally 26-27 days) but trying not to read anything into it! I was talking to a friend who told me she spent a fortune on pregnancy tests so much so that he banned them from the house! I’ve not bought any and have managed to stop myself the last two cycles. Made a deal with myself only to buy one if AF is late. Hoping I can stick to it!

@Macbless your cycle could still be the usual length but you may just ovulate later on. You've got more willpower than me not having pregnancy tests in the house! I bought a pack of about 30 🤦🏻‍♀️ we've been properly trying only about 4 cycles including this but I'd only been using the cheap OPK's previously so may have mistimed ovulation previously. We're also following SMEP and using preseed so I've got everything crossed this month xx

Morning! Very nervous, not gonna lie. Did a test this morning so I felt more positive and it's still darker than the one I caved and did two days ago. Keeping everything crossed.
Will be thinking of you @ELW85 hope it's the news we want xx

Well I had a very interesting morning. Tested three times yesterday and wasn't even close to a peak, but had a temp spike this morning, lots of EWCM and a positive on my OPK 😩
DH came home around 1ish last night, woke me up but I was too tired to DTD. So I ran to him this morning and woke him up. Bless him he was up to go but I think I put too much pressure on him (mostly cos I was running late for work - I felt so bad!). So we didn't manage to do it 🙈
He's working late again tonight, but will force myself to stay up! Hopefully we're not out this cycle.. last time we DTD was Sunday morning.

@MrsH497 well done for managing to do it! I didn't realise it would be this difficult 😂

@whatsthecraic91 here I've only managed to hold off cos I got the BFN the other day and I've not just convinced myself we didnt catch this month. I'll still be devastated when AF arrives. Have fun Saturday I'm off for cocktails for a friend's birthday so we can both drown the sorrows.

@LokiCat good going lovely, its a long road is the old SMEP! Well they recommend allowing one period before TTC again. I have started OPKs which are low but the weirdest thing last night and this morning I felt I was having OV pains which is so weird.

We've just had our scan and like I suspected I'm only 5 weeks not 6 so there wasn't much for them to see. Said at this point everything is as it should be though in the early stages of pregnancy. Lots of fluid and a gestational sack. They've made me another scan appointment for 2 weeks time where they said they'll see more and we should hear the heartbeat 🙂 I'm going to take my time and relax for the next two weeks now. Luckily I'm off work for the next 4 and a half as I'm a teacher 👍🏻

Come and join us on the pregnancy thread whenever you feel like it. I found it really reassuring as loads of ladies on there much further along who have been through it all. Ahhh big hugs.
