Morning all, nice to meet you all! I'm heading towards the last week of my 3rd cycle TTC. So currently just over a week deep in my third 2WW! Tracked ovulation this month, not that we need to time sex but just so I knew I was actually ovulating 😂
I feel different this month; boobs are tender which never happens to me during PMS and I'm irritable. But worrying I am just noticing things more or clutching at straws. My OVIA app says I can do an early test in 4 days, so this weekend I will start doing a test once a day until either AF arrives or (hopefully) I get my BPF!

@Anny27 - that all sounds positive! I’ll keep everything crossed for you :)

@hopeandpray1988 - that’s great! I’ll give you some advice that the ladies here gave to me; put the tests down. They look like they’re in a great place, so try to relax until next week’s scan! If you want to do a test on Tuesday before the scan, fair enough, but otherwise it all looks good and hopefully the spotting has stopped, so you’re in a good a place as possible! X

@LokiCat It is deffo worth a watch! Oh that sounds like a lovely night, I managed to have a much better sleep last night so feeling like a new woman today!! Thats not so bad that its a Open book test, you'll ace it!

@Imjustme2019 we did SMEP last cycle, it can be tough going but it did work so I would deffo give it a go!

@hopeandpray1988 the progression looks really good, I have everything crossed that the scan goes well!

@Anny27 oh god, heres me having a meltdown over 28 degrees 😂 although to be fair us Scots aren't built for hot temperatures.

@Lozzlepop ooohh exciting! First positive I've ever gotten off OPKs

@flossy12 you can use the app called femometer which tells you if your OPKS are peak (positive) or high (nearly positive). Its reslly useful you just take a pic and the app tells you

@lozzlepop yep its going to be intense heat haha. Back to a cooler 23 tomorrow though :D

@Larrydavid I used the first CB today and got the symbol for low fertility so I’ll hopefully see that change in the coming days! 🤞

I'm new here.. although I've been lurking for a little while you ladies all seem so lovely. I'm on my 3rd month of Ttc now after coming off the pill back in May. I definitely ovulated during the first month but didn't catch it in time. I didn't think I ovulated last month because I had no ewcm and all the cheap opks I used came out completely negative from cd10 onwards. Today I am cd7 and felt some odd cramps so took an opk and it's come out like the attached image. Is this strange for cd7 - should I be dtd tonight? Any help would be really appreciated - and thanks so much for the fermometer app recommendation @Anny27  x

I've taken another test which has come up much lighter so now I'm really confused (the top one)

@ellarosee sometimes if you are hydrated, the tests come up lighter. I have found that in the past :)

Probably get a peak reading tomorrow. DtD (if you can manage to in this heat!)

@ellarosee I managed it last night but it was pretty sweaty 🥵 just do A LOT of foreplay right up to the last minute 😄

CD20 and finally got a line on my OPK! It’s definitely not a positive tho I reckon it will be tomorrow! Would there be any reason im ovulating so late this month? My last 3 cycles have been 30,29,28 days! I am absolutely convinced it’s those seven seas TTC vitamins!

Guys I need some help please (those who have had scans before)

I went for an ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound today as I had pain 3 days ago.
I am 5+3 and nothing to be seen on ultrasound and only a gestational sac to be seen in transvaginal scan... the lady doing the scan said "I can see a tiny gestational sac measuring only 4mm and no yolk sac or foetal pole" doctor said it's quite normal but wants me back in 2 weeks for another scan "to see which direction this pregnancy is going" they've said 90% certain it's not ectopic but now I feel so worried and deflated... is this actually normal or is it something bad :(

@ELW85 yeah I'll try and avoid the tests! Fingers crossed everything will be ok on Wednesday. Even if they can check my hcg levels and make sure they're high.

@Lozzlepop thank you so much. I'm still not convinced the scan will show anything as I don't think I'm far enough along but we'll see. If not, I'm hoping they'll have me back again to check.

Yesterday i had brown spotting with some pink. But it wasn't much so I'm hoping it's stopping now 🤞🏻

@ellarosee I think your firs line looks positive so hopefully you managed to dtd. Test again today and see what it looks like. Sometimes your surge can be quite short. I use the opks and usually get around 36 hours of positives before they go really light again.

@Mrskcam hopefully your scan hasn't shown anything more as you're so early on? That's what my worry is about my scan next week 😕 did they check your hcg levels? Hopefully when you go back there will be more progress 🙂 xx

Bless you all remaining committed to DTD in this desert like weather! I'm still on AF so no DTD for me but that in itself is pretty icky in the heat .

Glad to see some BFPs in the group! Fingers crossed they stick. I've read lots of ladies worrying about brown spotting. My understanding is this is usually implantation bleeding and perfectly normal. It's heavier red bleeding that is cause for concern?

So, I've caved and bought a BBT thermometer and downloaded fertility friend. Completely new to charting and no idea what I'm doing! Any experts got any advice on how to go about this? I'm assuming I take my temperature when I wake up by mouth and record on the app?

@MIW01 I've been temping for about 3 months now. Yeah you do exactly as you've just described. Make sure you set an alarm for the same time each day as it can affect your results massively if you're even an hour out. Even at the weekend, which can be a pain. I've started to see patterns in my bbt now I've been doing it a while.
You should see 3 days of temp increases before fertility friend will tell you that you've ovulated so in some ways if you just rely on your temp to tell you your ovulating you might miss it. Do you have any opks too?

@Mrskcam is there any chance that maybe your dates are off? fingers crossed they see more in 2 weeks time

@hopeandpray1988 they may have to do a transvaginal scan, I got one of those in addition to an ultrasound last week as they suspected an ectopic pregnancy and it was fine nothing to worry about. I hope that the spotting stops, it is probably nothing to be concerned over but I know how unsettling it can be.

It is a much more comfortable temperature today thankfully ☺️ whats everyones plans for the weekend? Anyone due to test?

@lozzlepop yes yesterday was horrifically hot. Thankful it has cooled down!

I am due to test on Sunday (will be 13dpo)

@hopeandpray1988 thanks for that. Oh dear, the timing is going to be an issue in that case! I have ME and mornings are a real struggle so I don't get up at the same time everyday otherwise I crash and end up really unwell. When I cam I don't set an alarm and just let my body rest as long as it needs. I'm not sure if this is going to work for me then. Will just have to take with a pinch of salt for now and keep checking CM. Not going to do OPKs just yet, it's quite expensive and another thing to add to my ever growing to do list!

Thanks for all the advice ladies! We managed to DTD last night surrounded by fans 😂 thank goodness it's cooled down a bit now. I'll do an OPK later on today to see, I'm still not convinced I'm ovulating because CD7 seems really early and I've been having a tiny bit of brown spotting since AF stopped 4 days ago. I think my body is just all over the place since coming off the pill 😣

@hopeandpray1988 - honestly it’s the scariest time, so I totally get it.
It’s great that it’s nearly stopped though :)
I think depending on if they can/can’t see anything, they get you back in for a scan until they can conclude what’s going on, so if you are too early, they will have you back.

@ELW85 thanks chick! Ive literally had two tiny spots today and nothing else so feeling positive that it was implantation bleeding. Boobs are sore today too!
