@Anny27 ah hope AF finishes soon so you can start DTD again! Are you using anything to test for ovulation? A few of us use OPKs/temp here!

@Lozzlepop haha sorry! I'm sure you can stay strong. When do you think you'll hold off till? End of the week?
Ooh what safari park are you off to?

@ELW85 thanks! More confusion than conclusion unfortunately (I'm mostly guessing because of temps, so might be wrong) but here's hoping!
Yay glad your OPKs are back up, enjoy resuming SMEP! Won't need gym after all the DTD workouts! 😂

@orangeloo glad the SA came back normal. Have the doctors completed any tests/mentioned anything in regards to your spotting? That's frustrating if they're not taking it seriously.

@ValidUser enjoying the sunshine! :) how are you and how are your sunflowers?

LokiCat · 02/07/2019 22:43

@cupcakesandglitter haha that's okay, I'd rather stay positive about it!! Thanks ❤️ xx

Lozzlepop · 02/07/2019 22:44

@ELW85 haha I know she deffo would! Yes I busied myself with some housework and love island and just getting ready to go pick him up now! I know I totally had to look back on the order to see if it was two packs but was deffo just one and both packs have 2 in them so I feel I got a good deal for my £7 😂

PippaPug · 02/07/2019 22:49

@LokiCat - Yes weddings can be a total stress headache can’t they, especially at the end! Glad your Mum and best friend has been supportive - my best friend has been amazing - I love her so much and Shen has put up with a lot of stress from me!

@Lozzlepop - I’m away atm so I’m going to try and hold off testing till I’m hole as I have a test there, but I think it’s just stress from the wedding delaying my period (although my period hasn’t ever been delayed due to stress before)
Result on the extra tests! As they were free it would be rude not to test now wouldn’t it Grin

@orangeloo - I’m glad your husbands SA came back fine, what’s the next step for you both now?

@ELW85 - about two weeks to go now! Currently in the TWW and period is Disney tomorrow and I think it’s delayed by stress (although it never is but I think this is a big stress!) How was the gym?

PippaPug · 02/07/2019 22:54

Sadly my period isn’t Disney tomorrow but it’s due tomorrow - my phone keeps changing due to Disney 🤨

orangeloo · 03/07/2019 06:48

@PippaPug @LokiCat I've had day three and x2 21 day bloods all came back normal. And an internal scan to check womb and ovaries and all looked fine. I think I will go back and ask if there is anything else we can test for or else we will just wait until we've been trying a year which isn't that far off now. I have had a lot of stress since we've been trying also so that could be the reason as to why we haven't had any luck.

I'm off from tomorrow - finally moving into our house Smile yaaaay.
Have a great day all.

LokiCat · 03/07/2019 07:40

Morning ladies! Another temp rise today, so hopefully on the right track now! 😊😊

@PippaPug haha I wish our periods were Disney. Would be much more welcomed than the pain filled witches they are!
I hope AF doesn't show up today for the right reasons 🤞🏽

@orangeloo ooh exciting times! Good luck with the move and congrats on your new house!
Glad the tests were normal for you! Although sometimes I guess it can be more confusing to have no answers. Hope they can offer more tests or explanations.
Enjoy your last day at work :)

Lozzlepop · 03/07/2019 08:36

Morning!

@LokiCat sorry I seemed to have missed your message last night. Going to try and hold off until the weekend if I can, would rather test when AF is actually late as scared of something going wrong again! We're going to Blair Drummond, we went a couple of years ago and it was a fun day out so just hoping that the weather stays nice!

@PippaPug haha Disney periods almost sound great! When are you back? How long till the wedding? I love a good wedding but pretty much all of my friends are married now, just me left haha!!

@orangeloo ooh congrats on the new house I hope you have many happy years there!

Wednesday, it has been a pretty slow week so far 🤦🏽‍♀️gym at lunch and then that's me for the week! Hows everyones weeks going?

LikeTheFruit · 03/07/2019 08:45

@Lozzlepop Blair Drummond! Not been there in years. Have very fond memories of the flying fox! Admiring your willpower!

Lozzlepop · 03/07/2019 08:55

@LikeTheFruit its such a fun day out, we took a picnic last time and we honestly had a ball! I think I just don't want to set myself up for a disappointment!

LikeTheFruit · 03/07/2019 08:58

@Lozzlepop I know. I kicked myself every time I tested early and got BFN. I would rather have just had AF. Hope your car survives the monkeys!

ELW85 · 03/07/2019 09:28

Thank you @cupcakesandglitter - exercise is definitely helping to keep me sane at the moment!

@PippaPug - so exciting!! I know you’re feeling it at the moment, but it really is the best day ever, and seeing everything you’ve both worked really hard to plan come into place is a great feeling. Plus the cake, haha!
The gym was great thanks, but taking a night off tonight. I need a bit of downtime.

If AF was Disney, it would resemble the sea witch from The Little Mermaid, I reckon!
Was she called Ursula?

@LokiCat - brilliant news on your temps going up again! Just a super-late Ov and it definitely sounds like you’ve got all bases covered :)

@orangeloo - I guess the good news is your progesterone is fine, but I totally get why you’d feel apprehensive about it after a year.
It’s great that all the tests and scans are normal, so it should happen any cycle now! Lots to look forward to- happy new house, how exciting!!

@Lozzlepop - it has been the longest week ever! I don’t know how you gym it on a lunchtime, but good on you!
Not heard of Blair Drummond but certainly will check it out - DH would love it!

Finally got the static smiley today and took a night off last night; it’s tiring work, this TTC business!

Have a wonderful Wednesday all :)

LokiCat · 03/07/2019 10:31

@Lozzlepop oh not heard of Blair Drummond, but will check it out! I love a good safari. We did Longleat last year and that was amazing. Although DH was worried driving through the monkeys section. One was jumping on the back wipers of the car infront of us and bent it!!
That makes sense. We're here for distraction till the weekend :)

@ELW85 thanks! I told DH last night that I think I ovulated on Monday night and he said 'well what are you waiting for??' And pulled me upstairs to make sure we're covered 😂
Yay glad you're you got your static smiley! Time for some well deserved rest after all the deeds you've done! Grin
Haha great comparison of AF to Ursula! I hated her!

Lozzlepop · 03/07/2019 10:46

@LikeTheFruit Exactly! Plus I think it would be a lovely bday surprise for DP (totally setting myself up for a fall here) Haha they were ok last time, I don't think they like white cars 😂

@ELW85 it really has hasn't it! I just go as I can't commit any other times with an almost 2 hour commute the uncertainty of the traffic means I couldn't ever book a class in and ensure I could go constantly, it is a pain but I feel it makes me more alert in the afternoon! Its near Stirling ☺️

@LokiCat oh amazing I would love to go there, my friend is doing a day out there this week where she gets to feed the tigers! Haha yes the monkeys can be very cheeky 😉 yes please I will welcome all the distractions that I can!

ELW85 · 03/07/2019 11:18

@LokiCat - what a guy! It’s great that he’s so supportive (that’s not even sarcasm!) I know the men get something out of it too, but if it was the other way around and I was required on demand, I don’t know if I’d take it as well 😂

@Lozzlepop - you’re right, it does give you loads of energy! By the time we get in from the gym (usually 8.30pm) I go through about an hour peak of hyper-ness, followed by a crash (and bed!)

It’s such a nice day here, I might try and get DH to go for some impromptu al fresco dinner tonight 😊

Anny27 · 03/07/2019 11:34

@LokiCat
A few month's ago i used OPKs to see whether the EWCM i get was indicative of when i ovulate and it is so i usually just base it on when i get EWCM

Have any of you made DH take any supplements? Wondering whether to get him zinc supplements

Lozzlepop · 03/07/2019 11:52

@ELW85 good on you for going after work 💪🏻ooh that sounds lovely, I love a bit of Al Fresco dining! We have been having quite a lot of meat free meals this week, I have only had meat once since Sunday and that was fish, its a veggie option again tonight then more fish tomorrow.

@Anny27 no, I did bring it up once however I don't think he was keen, I was trying to imply not that I thought there was anything wrong with him but that we were trying to do everything we possibly could to get a BFP.

ELW85 · 03/07/2019 11:57

@Lozzlepop - that’s a great idea! We’ve started using Quorn quite a bit (particularly the mince) and don’t notice enough of a difference to use meat for things like Spag Bol again.

@Anny27 - yes, DH takes a Wellman conception supplement as well as CoQ10. We haven’t done his SA yet, but he’s just really keen on doing all we can from the outset so was quite up for it!

PippaPug · 03/07/2019 12:47

@orangeloo - I’m glad all your tears have come back fine, that’s good news at least but it’s worth going back to if there is anything else you can do just incase Smile

@Lozzlepop @LokiCat - Disney periods sounds a lot of fun, added bit of sparkle to cheer you up each month!

@ELW85 - your right she was called Ursula, and I now have that song she sings “you poor unfortunate soul” part in my head Hmm glad the gym went well but yes, good having a break too.

Just tested (which cost a arm a leg) and it’s negative, feel stupid for getting my hopes up and just had a cry Blush I am sure the stress I’m under is why my period is late, but there was a glimmer of hope.

Lozzlepop · 03/07/2019 13:01

@ELW85 I made a lentil bolognese the other night which was lovely and tonight its Halloumi! Just back from the gym, can tell I wont be able to walk by Friday 😂but at least that's it done for the week!

@PippaPug now wouldn't that be the absolute dream!! Love the little mermaid, I too have that song in my head now hehe!! Sorry to hear it was a negative, just try and look ahead to the wedding and enjoy that when it comes 🙂

Anny27 · 03/07/2019 14:37

Thanks @Lozzlepop @ELW85 ! Might bring it up with DH - like you said, just an extra thing that might boost us and help get that BFP quicker :D

Where are you at with your ttc journeys -what cycle are you on etc?

Lozzlepop · 03/07/2019 14:53

@Anny27 we decided to TTC at the end of the year and came off BC at the end of December, got our BFP on cycle 2 but sadly at 8 weeks we had a MMC. We gave ourselves time while we waited for my cycle to resume again and had a month off and enjoyed a holiday and now back on it! So we are almost 7 months in but I guess technically only cycle 3 - bet you wish you'd never asked lol! What about you?

Anny27 · 03/07/2019 16:32

@Lozzlepop sorry to hear about your MMC :( i think its so important to share this kinda of stuff as i didnt actually realise how common miscarriages were untill reading these forums and stuff.

We are fairly new to TTC - this is our second cycle :)

Lozzlepop · 03/07/2019 16:38

@Anny27 thank you 🙂thats exactly it, its definitely more common that I thought and we naively just assumed it wouldn't happen to us, we never ever considered anything would go wrong. But you cant dwell on it and you just have to keep on trying and look to the future 😄Are you temping / using OPKs?

ELW85 · 03/07/2019 17:50

@PippaPug sorry about your BFN. Do you know when you Ov? Could still be in?
And sorry for getting that song in your head!

@Lozzlepop - halloumi is my fave! What are you doing with it?

@Anny27 - we’re on cycle 4 of trying with tracking (5 altogether, but the first cycle was miles off).
