Hey everybody, I'm new to all of this but I'm looking for some advice!
I had a daughter nearly 4 years ago and although I wasn't actively TTC it still took 18 months of unprotected sex to fall with her.
I've been with my new partner for nearly 8 months now and we've both decided we'd love to have a baby together, we've been trying for about 6 months - by trying I mean DTD usually every other day or more frequent.
Since January I've been light bleeding between periods but when I have my periods they have become shorter and the clots have been pretty big (sorry I know tmi!) I've been in lots of pain with my pelvis for nearly the whole month - every month! I went to my docs who took full bloods and everything came back fine, so she sent me on my way for a transvaginal scan and an ultrasound, which showed I have a small uterine fibroid in the wall, which the Sonographer didn't think would affect my fertility, I'm waiting to see what my doctors next approach is but I'm looking for advice really...
Has anybody else had uterine fibroids and conceived? What should I try next? TIA!
