Can I ask you ladies for your logic please?My peak yesterday (CD 13) has gone to a high, probably overnight, so would you count O as today (CD 14) or yesterday?

Stupid AF arrived today, bang on time, had a little cry, felt really down, I know it's silly. As it's the first month I've been off the SSRI, I don't think I actually ovulated (no EWCM, sorry for TMI), the same happened in September when I reduced my dose then. Didn't stop me hoping that I could still conceive this month.

I think I might book myself in for acupuncture and try the smoothie for the next month ahead. Does everyone's DH/DP take a conception vitamin? Mine takes cod liver oil, but I'm wondering if we should look at him taking something, he's not much of a healthy eater unless I make him.

@ELW85 are you talking about your temperature increasing overnight for CD13? I thought that your temperature surged after you ovulate which if it surged by the CD13 it would mean your ovulation day would be CD12. I could have got it completely wrong so do correct me.

@ELW85 I personally count it as today/day of - I could be wrong but that’s what I’d do! Thank you - weather is so miserable but DH is away this weekend so cleaning the house, will later make some homemade Pho and have a netflix sesh where I can watch ONLY WHAT I WANT TO WATCH (I’m thinking something starting Jake Gyllenhaal). Do you have much planned for the weekend?
Oh also I’ve seen Les Mis a few times it’s one of my faves - you’ll love it!

@Imjustme2019 AF is so shit, have a cry and allow yourself to feel a bit sad but don’t get too down on yourself - it just wasn’t your month! You can throw yourself in to your next cycle. My DH takes zinc and Vit D but I think a multi Vit would be fine. I do all the cooking so while TTC he’s been eating healthy whether he likes it or not (although he did try and smuggle a Greggs wrapper past me the other day...)
Don’t worry - it takes time, but you’ll get there x

I’ve never joined a forum like this but since TTC I have spent hours reading your conversations and I’d love to join you all of you’ll have me!

I’m 33 and TTC baby #1. We are only 2 months in and currently 5DPO on 2nd cycle. What an exhausting crazy ride this is!!

What I look forward to most is seeing the BFP come through for all of us!!

@careergirl86 - welcome to the group! We had 2 BFP's in last couple of days so fingers crossed for more soon :)

@MrsEG @Imjustme2019 - I’ve not had a temp rise yet as I think it most likely happened early hours of today, so expecting the temp rise tomorrow.

So that totally lines up with your thoughts, @MrsEG in counting O as today :) thank you!

Cleaning can be so therapeutic, especially when it’s rewarded with lovely food and a Netflix session that you can totally buy into! 💯 with you on your choices - sounds like a fantastic weekend!

We are off to visit the MiL today which isn’t going to go well. We lost my FiL completely out of the blue just over a year ago, and now MiL has broken the news that she’s met someone.
DH isn’t taking it well, so I’m going as a therapist/mediator.
This will require wine, which is off limits, so expect me to commit carbicide later 😂

@Imjustme2019 - sorry to hear you’re feeling low; I think we’ve all been on that emotional rollercoaster, and some certainly more than others, but as the lovely @MrsEG** says, we will all get there.

Thanks @MrsEG part of the withdrawal from the SSRI that I'm experiencing is outbursts of crying too so it's just heightens it with all your normal hormones that you get then too. Managed to keep it together just at work but when I get home anything can set me off happy or sad. I'll check he's taking a multi one too. He worries I put too much pressure on myself so will do it covertly . We definitely need to eat better, trying to shop for the smoothie ingredients at the moment, having to google some to find what they mean, green protein, superfood greens etc @purplefig, might need to check with you again.

@ELW85 Happy Ov day haha! Oh GOSH what a horrid situation. There’s no right or wrong really is there?! I bet you’ll be able to cut the air with a knife... enjoy the mediating!
I’m loving the cleaning, I’m also reorganising all of DH drawers/cupboards as they’re such a mess and I’ve wanted to get my hands on them for months!
Also, Pho is SO simple but looks so impressive it’s my go to dinner party dish! When all it is is broth, veg, noodles and an egg - genuinely getting the soft boil on the egg right is the hardest part!!

@Imjustme2019 Definitely Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, it’s a minefield on its own! I’m sure @purplefig can help with what some of the smoothie ingredients are too :)

@MrsEG - happy Ov day indeed, haha! You inspired me though, so I’ve just scrubbed the kitchen from top to bottom. Probably best I’ve gotten rid of my pent up energy before the ‘session’.
You’re right, there isn’t a right or wrong, it’s just entirely individual emotions. DH’s mother is a combination of stubborn and rash, which is I think how this scenario occurred...I’ll update later

Morning ladies! So I had a .2 dip in temp yesterday and then another .1 dip this morning. I'm 7dpo today - is this normal? I first thought implantation dip but then that's only a 1 day drop, right? I'm getting the feeling I may be out this month because my temp is all over the place... plus FF doesn't think I've ovulated since I didn't have my 3 day temp increase after ovulation 😩

@starkid Glad you got some answers at your the appointment. How interesting that they're able to see what phase you are in your cycle! I hope you get your referral through soon and that all is okay!

I'll wait until Monday for the FRERs.

I spoke to my gynaecologist on Thursday. He wrote me a prescription for more hormones IF I need them. That man is fantastic.

@ValidUser How amazing!! My consultant on Thursday gave me her work mobile and said if I were to fall pregnant before my results come in ‘Just call me, there’s always something we can try’ - it makes all the difference doesn’t it knowing someone is there to help you! Good luck for Monday x

It totally does @MrsEG. Your doc sounds wonderful. It makes such a difference, doesn't it?

@LokiCat - about a week after Ov, you get a second surge of Estrogen, which causes a temp dip - nothing to worry about, but I found this out as I thought there was something wrong with my luteal phase; nothing to worry about, totally normal!

Another high OPK this morning. Just glad my hormones are doing something! I don't hold out any hope of getting pg this month.

Bought a notebook and new pens for new role and started looking at bullet journals!

@ValidUser - not sad at all! It’s so hard to hold out and I’m very proud of you; don’t think I would FRER (fair) so well. Christ; actually came up with a TTC pun.

@MrsEG I'm glad you managed to find some positivity in a crap day. Like you say we need to stay positive, although I can only try to imagine how difficult that is after 3 losses. Your consultant sounds amazing, it must be such a relief to know you are taking positive steps ❤

My sunflowers are growing. Hoping this is symbolic!

So ladies! Scan went really well, we're so relieved /excited!! I was a bit worried because although they picked up the heartbeat straight away, for images they said they needed to do an internal scan! Apparently that's normal sometimes at this stage to see everything clearly. Little jelly baby is doing just fine, moving around and even measuring a day ahead so they put me at bang on 9 weeks 🙂
