Anyone else want to jump on board the July bus? AF has just arrived for me after being 2 days late!

Anyway here's my info:

Cycle: 3
Age: 37
CD01
AF/BFP due: 3rd July

Hoping this is our lucky month! Fingers crossed for everyone x

@Lauralozzle Whick OPK's are you using? You seem to be using a lot doing 3 in the one day? Whoo hoo about the EWCM. You can get that up to 4 days before you Ovulate. I use Clearblue 4 day and I just use one every morning FMU.

With SMEP just try BD every 2nd day until you get your positive OPK and then do that day and the next 2 days then take a break for a day and do one more day. So I started CD 8 then did CD 10 and CD 12 so far break tonight whoo hoo

Was certain I was pregnant in my first cycle and had every symptom under the sun. So this time I'm just going to chill out 😂😂

@Sophieb15 I think we will aim for every other day from flashing smiley to start with, then tweak as we go along. DS isn't a great sleeper and is 100mph during the day so energy levels will be restrictive

Welcome @SLT90 Wouldn't it just be so much easier if it just happened first time for everyone no stress

@MrsFoggy I've a 3 year old little girl and she has never been a good sleeper I feel like we turn a corner every now and then and then she's back waking up at night so I understand

@Sophieb15 I'm pretty sure they do it on purpose. Just wait for us to start sleeping and feeling human before "taaaadaaaa jokes, I'm awake parents"

@MrsFoggy Hahahaha I've had days I've gone to work and literally couldn't function because she had me up so many times during the night.
It has def settled down though I think she eventually started sleeping full nights about 2 and 1/2 she just has the odd night now where shes tries it on.
Your some woman for trying again already and having them close together

@Sophieb15 I’m using cheapo ones from amazon - I know 3 is a lot in a day, but want to make sure I don’t miss anything. It’s interest, more than anything else, to see if I can spot how it’s changing.

I don’t usually get EWCM for several days, usually just one or two so I think i should see a positive soon.

I think I’ll try to do SMEP next cycle properly - at moment,
CD 9 - BD - didn’t finish though so not really counting it at all
CD 12 - BD

I’m a bit concerned not enough so still think I’ll instigate tonight... as EWCM - if no positive opk tomorrow we’ll have a rest day! Lol

@Sophieb15 glad you got ur flashing smiley today! I've done cheapy OPKs the last 2 days and today's line is considerably darker so we're gearing up for O day! Apps don't predict it until 18/19 June though!

The thought of the newborn sleep deprivation gives me shudders. I felt like death for most of DC1s first 6 months. Somehow it still isn't enough to put me off another tho! Luckily she's ok now... I take my hat off to those who are waking in the night!

@Lauralozzle good luck with the instigation tonight!! We should all be ovulating around the same time! X

Welcome @SLT90. I was exactly the same first month... swore I wouldn't be like it the next month yet there I was absolutely convinced I was pg the 2nd month too... I'm hoping I chill out this month (but probably not!!) x

Looks like I'm going to ovulate around the same time too 😁 got my first flashing on cv and this on cheapy ...not quite positive yet but so nearly there! 😁🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Sophieb15 honestly I think I'm bloody mad, however, I was fairly gobsmacked at meeting Irish twins a few weeks ago. I felt the need to hug the mother

2 and a half sounds ideal, just in time for another one to arrive and destroy all hopes of a full nights sleep for a few more years 😂

@Abi58 so close!! Mine isn't that dark yet. I always worry I'll miss it too! @Lauralozzle has the right idea doing it 3x a day. I find it hard to test at work though.

Evening ladies. So I'm on CD 10 and have started using OPKs as in the picture, has anyone used these before, I've also downloaded the app the box suggests. You take a pic and it tells you where you are. According to the app I am due to ovulate in 8 days (CD 18) which pretty much matches the previous cycles.
I am going to try and hold out til 14 dpo to test. Please help lol.

@mumof1hants my body is doing what it's supposed to I practically punched my husband when I got home 😂 then did this and thought AH 😂😂 I tend to start doing a few a day around the time as well. I don't think you need to worry about missing it as long as you dtd as you ovulate 1 or 2 days after the surge so it's not that small a window ...but saying that I know I like to see it there almost like proof 😂 I'm then mad for the next few days with my temping to check it goes up 😂

This is only the 2nd month 😂 only got this intense with it as when I came off the pill I hated not knowing what was was going on with my body 😂

@Mumof2boys18 I use that app for opks as well but just use the ones I pictured.

I had anearly miscarriage/chemical (although don't like that term) last month so am worried about testing early again. So im with you trying to hold out!

@Mumof2boys18 those OPKs sounds interesting. I use the flow app to analyse mine... it's probably not as good but u can take a photo of your OPK & it tells you how close it thinks you are.

@Abi58 I know what u mean about wanting evidence! I just started temping this month too but I'm not doing very well! I'm not consistent really so not sure it'll show anything?! Be interesting to see though x

Well, this is frustrating- darkest opk (still a negative I think) cycle day 13 and now they’re getting lighter! Cycle day 13 was day of EWCM (in the morning- nothing since). Cervix is high and soft, can’t tell if it’s open though because it’s too high for me to reach that bit.

Not sure if I should count cycle day 13 as surge or keep testing...

I've got another 9 days till I ovulate... Too long to wait!! Hate having a long cycle xxx

@Lauralozzle Did you manage to instigate? I've had another flashing smiley this morning.

@mumof1hants My LO woke crying twice last night with bad dreams ended up having to hop into her bed wrecked this morning. Did you get a Positive OPK this morning?

@Lauralozzle Keep testing for maybe another 2 days just in case if lines are still getting lighter put in Positive OPK for CD 13 which means then you prob ovulated today. I'd BD tonight and tomorrow to be sure

@Sophieb15 we can be strong lol. I keep thinking I won't buy tests until the time but how easy is it to just click buy now on amazon lol.

@Mumof2boys18 Haha I won't buy the internet cheapies because I would drive myself crazy. My plan this month is if I get past 14 DPO then I will test with a digital 15DPO. I think I would prefer to get AF than see another negative test and then get AF.
I've a dilemma though I'm trying to stick to the SMEP so we Have BD CD 8,10,12 so far and we will tonight CD 14. But then if I get a positive OPK tomorrow it says we need to go for 3 days in a row that would be 4 days in a row because we are going to BD tonight too I honestly don't think we will be able to But If my cycle is the same as last month I won't get my positive until CD 16. Oh its so hard

@mumof1hants when do you normally temp? Got my positive opk last night and this morning 😁🤞🏻
Me too (testing) but I have awful will power!

@Lauralozzle you could have missed it, or geared up to ovulate but it hasn't happened yet. Sorry if you've already said but do you temp? That could help confirm ov. Maybe do a few more and if they continue to get lighter still take cd13 as your surge?

@Abi58 It's weird isn't I felt like I had O pain yesterday but flashing smiley I dunno does CB 4 day catch it after you ovulate I'm hoping for a static smiley tomorrow. Have you a pic of your internet cheapie?
