Anyone else want to jump on board the July bus? AF has just arrived for me after being 2 days late!

Anyway here's my info:

Age: 37
CD01
AF/BFP due: 3rd July

Hoping this is our lucky month! Fingers crossed for everyone x

Hope i’m Ok to jump on, AF sadly arrived for me yesterday so on to cycle 2. One thing I’ve definitely taken away from my first month trying is not to try and spot symptoms as I was sure I had a few which resulted in me being really disappointed. But I’ve ordered myself some OPKs so I am hopeful they might bring me a better chance.

@mumof1hants cycle day 18 for me, average cycle is 28 days but can be between 26-31 days

@MockingJay27 welcome! I think we are all hugely guilty of this. It's so hard not to. I spend most of my time on google during the TWW! X

So, definitely caught surge today on afternoon test - test line is darker an control line. So, ovulation within next 24-36 hours? Will count it as tomorrow and Thursday as 1dpo. I was worried there was something wrong with me! So I’m glad I have a 100% positive.

@mumof1hants sounds like we're cycle buddies! Mines 29th-1st but I'm guessing 29th as I'm sure I ovulated on the 15th (conveniently this month cd 1 as the 1st 😂)

I think the general rule of thumb is 14 days after ovulation so I'd guess more the 28th?

@Sophieb15 yeah I agree, I'm studying at the moment so plenty to do but it's distracting me as I feel I can't concentrate 😂😩 will try and focus on it more and 🤞🏻 it will go quickly!

Work I struggle again concentration and googling 😂 but I can't test there so that's a bonus! Hoping I wake up and pee too early and forget so I can't test til the next day (do this a few times then I'll be due to test so it won't matter 😂)
This week at work is busy for me but next week is my quiet week! Send help!

Just saw your afternoon one definitely positive! Yay! Yes I'd say tomorrow as ov day, if you track Cm or temp you can confirm it but that won't be too far off if not 😁🤞🏻

@MockingJay27 welcome 😁 our bodies can be cruel so many early pg symptoms are also pms symptoms and I also think the hope we have can make our bodies do what we are hoping for which is just cruel trickery! 🤞🏻 for you this month!

😁 I'm going to try to but I have awful will power. But after chemical last month I don't want to test early and get my hopes up again so nearer to af I can the better 😁 how about you??

@Abi58 yes I'm scared about that. It's just happened to a friend too. Awful. I'm waiting till 1st July if AF hasn't arrived by then! I think I'd rather see her than a negative. I tested day before AF last month (13dpo) with a cheapy and was so disappointed. I then stupidly went out & bought two other different tests (including a FRER) . Convinced myself it might be the IC not being sensitive enough or that I could see a faint line. Clearly I was wrong, they were all negative & AF arrived eventually 2 days late. I was in a foul mood by then!! X

@mumof1hants you should be fine I'd try not to worry about what can happen and just enjoy the experience :)
I get what you mean about af instead of a negative but I just have to try and wait it out I'm too impatient 😂

Hi everyone. Hope you're all doing ok.

I've been off the boards a bit this cycle. Promised myself I wouldn't obsess and to be fair I haven't really. OH and I had a really good chat when af showed and we've been a lot more active since which I'm happy about. My cb connected app told me on Saturday to start testing but I haven't yet as I had 3 grey lines meaning nothing detected and 5 days of high fertility so thought I'd wait until 2nd or 3rd day of high fertility before I tested if I even bothered but I've decided I'll potentially test in the morning as it should detect high for a few days so a) I use less sticks and b) I'll have an idea when I'll be ovulating. We've been dtd either every 3 days or every other day. OH knows this week to weekend is my peak time and seems happy to push along to try and help this month be our month. I do have a lot of other things in aswell at the moment as we are viewing a bigger house tomorrow as a mutual exchange so that will keep me occupied if us and the other lady are happy to go ahead although completion would probably take around 6 weeks. I'm not feeling as low as I have which is a bonus. We can keep hoping but at the end of the day what will be will be. Hope July brings lots of bfps. Mine included 🤞🤞
I will be sticking to my word and the word we have agreed here, absolutely no testing unless af does not arrive!!!!!

Evening ladies, ive not been on much since the start of july been trying my hardest not to obsess this month but as as soon as im feeling like im just getting on with everything i get my ewcm (i watch everything and never have it this much/ not at all some month) 😩 the worst thing is my partner is working away so we cannot dtd 😭 The last time we did was on sunday morning so like 2 and a half days ago so looks like i shall be out this month... good luck ladies 😩 xx

Well I'm shocked. Peed on the Cb connected this morning expecting to be in high fertility and it claims I'm not 🤷‍♀️ Didn't expect that...

First cycle was actually quite stressful- uncertain ovulation and an evap line that showed up within the 5 minute time frame and looked vaguely positive. I'm hoping this one is a lot less stressful, and for my part I'm going to try to obsess a whole lot less. Fingers crossed July is the mint for us all!

@mommato3 hello! 👋 fingers crossed for you this month! New house is exciting! We were thinking of moving, but now we’re ttc have decided to stay put for a few years due to costs (our house needs work but the mortgage is low - so ideal during maternity pay etc).
I was expecting to ovulate around day 14/15 (I’d had EWCM since the 13th) but didn’t get a blaring positive until yesterday- your fertile time could be around the corner!

@Lj02 sperm can stick around for a while, hopefully you were just in time.

Hey everyone, opk is still dark this morning. Very positive like yesterday’s afternoon one) Not sure if I should keep testing until it gets lighter, so I know how long my surge lasts, or just stop now?

Hi everyone, i bought CB Digital opk (4 day) this month to see if it would help. First day I used it it said low fertility however after i have had 5 days of flashing smiley. Does this sound right or is my body being weird? Hoping that i get a static smiley soon. Have tried to dtd every other day just incase. Any help would be appreciated. TIA 💜

@EC418 it took me 9 days to get a static when I used it 😁😁 don't worry!

I did have ewcm for 2 days now nothing. Only on CD 12 usually ovulate CD 17 x

@EC418 last month I had 5 flashing smileys this month I had 2 before static so don’t worry just make sure it’s FMU and only once a day!

@Lauralozzle I’d test once more in the morning and if it’s lighter then you know I’d keep DTD for another day or 2 as well.

@Abi58 we didn’t manage to DTD yesterday OH was too drunk after concert we tried but led no where 🙈 let’s hope the 3 days we did during my fertile window caught my egg I’m now 3DPO.
Yes pink in concert she was unreal very angry at myself though I smoked 4 cigarettes. I don’t smoke like but when I’m drinking I do the odd time 😡
Yes a few of them know I’m TTC but I’m going to drink and let me hair down now for this month as I’ve so much on! If it doesn’t happen this month I’m on a strict diet next month with no drink for the whole month and we see does that help 🙈

Yes we are all going to hold out and be strong 💪

@mumof1hants if you had it on the day of O then that’s what it was it’s like a stabbing pain I get pressure too but def not as bad this month as last few 😁

CD 15 for me and first flashing smiley on the clear blue digital.

Have to say I know they're expensive but much prefer them to the other tests I like how clear it is.

So far we have managed to dtd CD 7,9,11,15

Trying as best as we can to do every other night until static smiley! 😊

Wondering how many days of flashing I will get as not used it before?

Fingers crossed for both of us, are you trying OPKs? I've just ordered some internet cheapies. I've also started taking evening primrose today as I've read it helps increase EWCM.

Currently on CD 7. First AF since the pill was sooo light, I don't know wether it counted as a period but at least something happened. Going to DTD every other day, or whenever the mood takes us haha! Predicted to OV on the 25th of June and then the dreaded 2ww happens! AF or hopefully BFP due on 10th of July! How's everyone else doing?
