Anyone else want to jump on board the July bus? AF has just arrived for me after being 2 days late!

Anyway here's my info:

AF/BFP due: 3rd July

@Hannah1925 I’m on cycle 5 TTC no 2 don’t get yourself down as mumof1hants said a year is normal you only have a 25% each month of getting pregnant. It’s literally out of our hands once we all BD at the right time!
@Abi58 he’s awake whoo hoo last night of actually having to instigate this month! Did you not do a CB that morning you got the positive cheapie?

Hello everyone, still no positive, but that’s okay. Think I will test opks until cycle day 20 and if nothing then, will just wait for AF.

I’ve had to give myself a good talking to, as I’ve been obsessing a bit over this and it’s early days (only first month ttc). So tonight I’m relaxing, had a glass of wine, watched programs on the iPad and just generally acted as if everything was normal.

I have the Sunday evening blues, but that’s more to do with work tomorrow. Still, only a week to go and then I’m off for a week as we’re on holiday which I can’t wait for!

@mumof1hants it's always been pretty much once a day since we got together , we both have quite a high sex drive 😁 hehe.

Yes I did and it was flashing (fmu Internet one was not positive - was positive the night before and second wee so think my LG isn't as strong in my first of the day so if I do again might use the second

@Abi58 @mumof1hants BD is a no go OH is too tired 😡😡 not impressed looks like I’ll be getting AF for definite this month. I’m ovulating today like the one day 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Sophieb15 oh no! Did you manage to 'get busy' the last few days? If you had fertile Cm (without it sounding too tmi) sperm can live in you for 5 days so they could all be there waiting already 😁🤞🏻

@Sophieb15 yes, can’t wait until holiday. Tested this morning, line is lighter, think I’ve missed it somehow. Maybe wee was to dilute- I know CP isn’t much to go on, but it’s dropped and is now hard (like the tip of my nose) so that doesn’t sound like CP during fertile time.

At least I’m at work today, doing something will take my mind off it and I’ll have less opportunity to test!

@Abi58 we did CD 8,10,12,14 and 15 but yesterday was the most important 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hes on nights tonight so prob won’t get to 🙈 we try so early tomorr maybe.

@Sophieb15 oh no how frustrating! It's hard not to be annoyed at them... I honestly think you've BD enough tho. Still in with a really good chance so don't assume AF will come. I have everything crossed for u!

I'm confused today. I had a dip in temp 3 days ago then it shot up... now it's down again?! Maybe I'm not being consistent enough or alcohol at the weekend threw it all out? I'm now worried I'm not ovulating x

@Lauralozzle you could have missed your surge but as long as you Did it around that time that will cover you 😁🤞🏻

@mumof1hants 🤞🏻 for you. I'm thinking the same as my temp hasn't risen (I did have to take it early today and it was lower again after 1 slight rise yesterday, so earlier might have thrown it off. The later one I did (normal time but not after enough sleep) is higher and oddly enough fits exactly how my temps were last month (see pic) purple is this month. So I'm not sure what to think. Will have to wait til tomorrow and hope I don't have bad sleep again 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Sophieb15 and @Abi58 3 times during when I reckon I was fertile so should be enough.

I’ll have no chance comparing potential PG symptoms with PMS though - I regularly get very painful boobies, cramps, etc so I won’t be able to look too much into those!

Sometimes it can be more that your usual symptoms are different or change so your boobs might not hurt. Be good though if you're not able or trying to compare symptoms as it drove me crazy last month I thought I was imagining things.

Thanks @Abi58. No I'm not consistent. Partner working shifts sometimes means he wakes me when he's getting up at 4-5am. Other days I don't wake till 7. I'm not a great sleeper either. I remember waking about 3am today and finding it hard to get back to sleep. Not sure what I can do about that though! 🤷🏼‍♀️
I just hope the EWCM & positive OPK are enough to indicate I'm ovulating? X

@mumof1hants @Abi58 My OH thinks i'm crazy I told him I would come home on my lunch today so we could get it done and he told me to relax and let it happen I can't do anymore now anyway so I'll just start eating my Pineapple and hope for the best.

Would you not go and get your bloods done for a progesterone test and that would confirm you have ovulated this month they say to get them done 6/7 days after O.

I'm no good with advise on temping as I was up and down at night too and it was never consistent.

@Lauralozzle I get loads of symptoms before AF too so i'm with you.

@Sophieb15 how annoying. It's frustrating when they say let it happen. I think lots of men don't fully understand how slim the window is. My partner often says 'it happened before, I'm sure it'll happen again' 😤 it's true but I want to give it the best possible chance not just wing it.. he doesn't really get that.

Honestly tho I do think you've done enough. One of my close friends only had sex once during fertile window (4 days before o) and got pg. She's now 8 weeks!

I'm not sure my docs would do it to be honest. Is so hard to get an appointment let alone get them to agree to a blood test... plus I think they only do them Wednesdays & I can't leave work to get it done. If I'm not pg in a couple of months I will make an app tho x

@mumof1hants They really don't understand then he said why don't we wait until after the wedding there would be nearly 7 years between them then I was ready to explode at him awhile ago. His shift is changing next month again which is stressing me out he is going back on evenings which means that I won't see him from Mon- thursday every week. He doesn't get home until 3am every night. That's going to make it very difficult.

I think the fact you got a positive OPK you have ovulated. The temping when you don't have a regular sleep pattern surely wouldn't work properly. Fingers crossed this is all our months...

My friend who is 20 weeks literally had sex the day of O and the day after and got pregnant. My O pain was very little this month so I'm hoping my body is back to normal

@mumof1hants I'd go based on that and with your temping take it with a pinch of salt as a one day drop could be that you didn't sleep well or took it at a different time.

Would they give you bloods or would they only do that if you were having trouble/had been trying for a while? Otherwise I'd imagine a lot of people would be doing it?

@Abi58 OH is on nights so tonight is out we can do early tomorrow as I'm off so that will have to do then for this month.

With the bloods its a normal enough test. You can go to the doctor to get bloods taken whenever you want to make sure all is well. My doctor was just doing a check up on me so she checked my Thyroid and a few other things and I just said will you check my Progesterone too as its 5 days after O and I knew it can confirm O. She said no problem. Make sure its between 5-7 days after confirmed O and book standard blood test and just ask them to check that too there should be no problem.

I'm delighted I got it done because anything over 30 means your Ovulating and mine was 45 and it was only 5DPO so she said it was really high. It really put me at ease because I was having very painful O pain since getting the implant out and I though maybe there was something wrong and maybe a cyst or endo was giving me that pain and the egg wasn't releasing. My doctor reassured me that because Ovulation is suppressed on the pill/impant that is why I was having the painful O. She was right it has eased right off this month just a bit of pressure. So if no BFP this month I am expecting normal O pain which is just a bit of pinching next month.

Sorry for the essay but I know when I first TTC I knew nothing about anything so I've learned a lot in the last 6 months and I want to spread my knowledge to help everyone

Hello everyone- CP gone right back up and more EWCM although it is quite thin.

Another opk at lunch today, thoughts? I think it might be positive- but not 100% sure! If not, that is the darkest I have had!

@Sophieb15 ahhh still sounds like you've done enough so I wouldn't worry too much about today! Just do when you can :)

That's good to know my dr has always been funny about ordering blood tests and couldn't imagine them ordering one that in their eyes is unnecessary just because I ask but I might give it a go if I need to. I'm thinking when we do get our bfp that I'll ask for a couple blood tests to check levels increasing (hopefully they will) as it would put my mind at rest after the early miscarriage/chemical last month.

That's good! Mines easing off a little still feel really sick since pos opks but I haven't had the bad twinges I had last month. We'll see if I get days of cramps again now!

@Abi58 So what day are you due AF? You could have told me but I'm actually getting confused now with all the different ppl I'm talking too. I'm due 30th June that's 14 days after O day. I'm not going to test until 1st July if I don't get AF though.

@Lauralozzle that's definately very close can't tell in pic whether pos or just about to be! Last month my peak wasn't 100% positive (premom said it was 0.97 (1 is as dark as and over 1 is test line darker than control)
Premom and glow apps can analyse it for you which might help 😁 🤞🏻 and good luck!

@Sophieb15 the same (well apps put it as 29th-2nd so anytime within that bit I think I'm due 29th/30th 😁 I want to hold out til the 1st to test (after last month I don't want to put myself through that again if I can help it) but I'm not sure I have the will power! Help me stay strong?

@Abi58 Yes we will help each other stay strong @mumof1hants is due same date too so all 3 of us and anyone else due the 30th have to be STRONG and hold out until the 1st.

A good tip is to not have them in the house and just buy one the evening of the 30th June if AF hasn't arrived. Then you have it for FMU on the 1st July.

I'm hoping for no symptoms this month it means there's a chance because I've had different symptoms last couple of months.
My major tell last 2 months is bad backache 5 days before AF so fingers crossed no backache this month.

About to cave 😁 last month my positive was at 10dpo and only tested a so felt so sick but if I do it then again this month I've still got 4/5 days til af and I won't be able to be happy until I feel it's gone past that point (and if it's neg I'll assume I'm out as I got it last time at the dpo 😩)
But still feel so tempted and I'm only 2 dpo 😂 I need a slap!

I can't buy on the night as supermarkets by me don't sell the frers which I think I'd want to use again.

I am going to but don't have one yet we go shopping tonight and will get one! Hopefully not too late to have an effect!
