9DPO and desperate to test for the first time tomorrow

I have symptoms or at least I think I do unless they are all in my head !

I caved, sorry girls, what a loser! It's because DP is away. Anyhow, I got this - I think there's a line of some sort? Can anyone else see anything? Don't know if it's a evap or not, and I also dismantled a cheapy test (which I am positive you're not meant to do!) Not sure whether to do the FRER tomorrow or hold out another day or two.

@mrssunshinexx don't give up hope yet, some people don't get a BFP until after AFP so keep the faith.

I tested this morning with FMU and FRER and got a line! Look - this is positive right? I'm shook!

Im 8dpo today the urge is real but way too early im testing at 12dpo on Thursday i have til resist til then, only symptons are a few cramps 2 days ago like a dull stomach ache different to period pain but similar, lots of watery cm usually dry at this point but honestly not sure this cycle, had lots of symptoms last month and ended up 9 days late with bfn.

I just thought I would offer a bit of advice regarding the whole DPO.testing. I did the TWW with IC cheapies in hand and from about 8dpo would test every other day. It got me so worked up and caused alot of stress. Did it for about 5 straight months.

Both times I actually fell pregnant (first was a MMC, second is current pregnancy 27 weeks with first) I had no distinct symptoms other than thinking my period is coming and it never did. This time I didn't do a test until 21dpo as was away.

I decided, it was much better to just get my AF than to stare at a negative test wondering. That's just my opinion though and I in no means wish to dampen your spirits.

@mrssunshinexxx I know people who've not for BFP until 14dpo... you're not out until AF arrives! It was only month 1 for me last month but I was gutted too, it's only natural xx

@Mondayblues7 thanks for the advice, yeah I think I'd rather AF show up but the urge to test is strong! I'm only using OPKs and an app x

@Mondayblues7 I am using apps ovia and flo but both said different ovulation days so I don't know how useful it is don't really want to be testing and taking my temp as it's only month one and I already pretty obsessive with the idea

*@Mondayblues7 Thanks for the advice I'll try my hardest to hold out, AF is due on Saturday so it's really not that long to wait I guess! I'm using Flo which dates are always one day out each month, so I just really log my AF and dtd on there also using the clear blue Ovulation tests, the digital smiley face one! Haven't started Temp checking yet, I'm honestly not too sure how that works x

@Isntthatalwaystheway I began temping around month 3 after my MMC and can honestly say it was the best thing I did. I knew exactly when AF was due so there wasnt any doubt. I used FF to track it and bought a cheap thermometer on eBay. Before then I was using clue and my window was never really accurate.

The hardest thing to do is just to relax and take it as it comes, like I say, I didn't start temping until 3 months after MMC and I fell 3 months after. It gave me a sense of control over it. Like AF wasn't playing wicked games. "she's late!!" When in fact I had ovulated later. So she wasn't late at all, that kind of thing.

I will say without definitely confirming your O date, it's hard to know when you are actually due AF.

How many dpo is it ideal to test so you get the most accurate result? I last tested 10&13 dpo both bfn I'm now 17 dpo and debating testing again but dont want to keep wasting money on tests and being disappointed. What do you think?

Anytime after 14dpo for a firm result I would say. I would test on a FRER
