Hi everyone! I’ve started a new thread as we are dangerously close to 1000 posts in the last one! I’ll add a link to it now :) Here’s hoping it’s a lucky one!

And the fact that I've started at 8dpo and not 5 is positively restrained for me!

Since stopping the pill I've had what I've nicknamed "faulty" periods. 😂
I went from 4days of medium... to two light days one heavy... to 1 light day 1 medium and that was it! (That one scared me I thought 2days was too low) but I've now moved back to 4days of light and medium.
I did a LOT of googling when they nearly stopped and I learnt that some women only bleed a day. Some for 7. Everyone's different but the main thing is that you're getting them. Not the length I think X

I came off my pill on Oct last yr, since then they've been pretty consistent
That's why it's thrown me a little.

I think it is just period though ... TTC doesn't some funny things to your mind 🙄

@Marleym28 I want back all of the times In the last 10 years I've turned down sex with the OH because I forgot one pill.

Had I bloody known how this malarkey works I'd have enjoyed myself more 🙈🙈😂

Ok some advice please - I'm only 4dpo, but there was bright red blood when I wiped just now. Could that be anything at all except a cut? I don't feel sore 🤔 really weird!

To update, this morning there was a blob of pink cm :-/ I'm only on cd20, and 5dpo

It still doesn’t feel real - I think I’ll only allow myself some excitement if no AF at all tomorrow!

@1990shopefulftm I started feeling shattered yesterday at 12DPO, but as you say tiredness can be one of many things!

@Beck2277 Have you tried using an app like Clue to track ovulation so you can be sure of the dates?

@Starkid I really don’t know on that one - 4DPO seems early for implantation bleeding - maybe keep an eye on it then next few days!

@Validuser, I'm not good at squinting (sure I need glasses sometimes!) but it's really early, maybe try to hold off a couple of days if you can? When is af due? Could try the day before? Got everything crossed for you! Xx

@Fivebyfive2 Yep, definitely darker! If AF stays away tomorrow I’ll do one more for good luck on Tuesday and then get myself to the GP! How are you feeling at the mo?

@starkid I wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as it doesn't turn into something more noticeable. Could be a cut, could be a ruptured cyst, usually larger amounts of blood are a sign of concern.

Hi all, I’m currently 3dpo and I feel like AF is about to arrive!? About 5pm yesterday I was in work and had to run to the toilet as I thought she’d come even though I’m not due for 2 weeks. Ive got AF cramps and my back is really achy and sometimes I get a stabby pain in my uterus. Not sure whether this is good or bad as I’m new to all this! Any words of wisdom are much appreciated. Also congrats @MrsEg !!!! Can’t wait for you to test again @ValidUser exciting times!! Good luck to everyone else ... oh and also what’s cm supposed to be like after ovulation? Mines creamy and loads of it (I have no idea if that’s normal)

@Validuser, ha ha, it is so hard to resist I know!! Stay strong if you can, but if not we'll all be here to squint with you... Although hopefully in a few days, no squinting will be needed, as the line will be clear as day 🤞🙂

@Mrskcam I really don’t know - 3DPO is extremely early for anything pregnancy related as implantation doesn’t tend to happen earlier than 6DPO. Keep an eye on it and if it gets very painful I’d be tempted to see the doctor just in case? X

@PaintingOwls Thanks! The core isn’t so bad is it?? So does this mean you’re super close to ovulating?

@Fivebyfive2 Please Do! I don’t feel nearly ready for the grads yet; want to give it a couple of weeks! We can get through this first tri together!!

Going to see Mum today as it’s her birthday tomorrow; this is going to be one hell of a secret to keep! DH and I have both decided this time round to keep it to ourselves until we get to a healthy scan (🤞🏻). Can only think of two events where I’ll have to get creative as to why I’m not boozing!

Is anyone else on here testing any time soon/this week?

@Fivebyfive2 thank you! ❤️ I'm honestly at a point where it's hard to see it ever happening and I'm trying to hold on to hope while also being really afraid to hope. Peeing on sticks gives me a false sense of control over it all! 😂

Morning ladies! So took another ovulation test today and it looks like it's gearing up for a positive! Maybe I haven't ovulated yet? 🤔 so confused but will keep testing and DTD!

@MrsEG, sounds like a plan! My symptoms currently include bloating, wind and being constantly hungry! Also, I'm feel a bit hot in the morning. No sickness, but a bit of queasyness. I'm trying to be chill about it all and not think too much about last time: distraction and relaxing are the buzz words at the moment!!
