Hi ladies,
I've been pregnant before and feeling similar symptoms but AF not due for a few more days. I have tested a few times with different tests, all came back negative. AF is due in 5 days so I tried a clearblue digital but came back negative. I know it might still be early or I might just be imagining my symptoms. Anyone have a similar experience? Did you end up being pregnant or not?

@Inthesky42 it's so frustrating knowing when to/when not to test! I assumed it was a case of "AF is due...test will be a straightforward positive"....not so much...!!

Mum637k · 24/04/2019 19:42

So ladies silly question but can you all help me calculate how far along I am? 🙈 My app says 5+4 but I just want to be sure going into our first scan. The 1st day of my last period was 24th March. @Katy85 @Pop1234 @Inthesky42

@Mum637k hmm I count you at 4+3. My last period was the 18th Feb and my app (glow) and my midwife count me the same, which is now 9+2. Have you got a midwife booking appointment sorted, they normally see you at 7/8 weeks which is when most private scans would also recommend not to book before

Katy85 · 24/04/2019 20:11

Glow is a good app, helps remind me to take my vitamins and drink water!

@Katy85 i use the flo app. I better call the clinic tomorrow and double check as I wouldn't want to go too early 🙈

OP posts:
Katy85 · 24/04/2019 20:34

@Mum637k yeah double check, it's a lot of money if it's too early!

Mum637k · 24/04/2019 20:37

@Katy85 does the week of your period count as week 1? If so then I count I'm in the 5th week. Am I just going mad?😆

OP posts:
Mum637k · 24/04/2019 20:39

Oh okay I think the app is saying in the 5th week, 4 days in so that's 4+4. What a terrible way to phrase it 🙈

@Mum637k yeah that's silly, it should just say xweeks + xdays to avoid any confusion! I'm having a lovely relax this evening, little un is asleep, other half is out watching football, I have my

Pop1234 · 24/04/2019 21:03

@Mum637k that is a strange way to phrase it but least you double checked.

@Katy85 I'm also in bed. Had a two hour nap earlier as was home from work early after the hospital but still feel tired.

I know this is really bad but I haven't even booked my midwife yet. I don't dare as I'm scared of jinxing it but I know I really need to.

Katy85 · 24/04/2019 21:07

@Pop1234 get yourself booked in, you need all your bloods doing, start the screening tests for edwards syndrome etc. I'm assuming as it's been two weeks since I saw my midwife and I haven't heard anything that all my bloodwork is fine.
I haven't felt tired recently but it hit me again this afternoon, all I wanted when I got home was to nap before fiance got home, but I had to sit and watch power rangers with my boy 😂

Pop1234 · 24/04/2019 21:12

@Katy85 I'm going to ring tomorrow and book in. I need to.

How old is your little boy? Have you told him yet?

Katy85 · 24/04/2019 21:29

@Pop1234 he just turned 5 in February, it's taken us a long time to get over the trauma of his birth, I couldn't face having another child until now. We won't tell him until we've had the scan in May, he cannot keep secrets and he'd tell his school friends and then all the other mum's would know before I was ready to say. He does keep asking if he'll be a big brother one day

ducksandacorns · 24/04/2019 22:07

@Mum637k are you using Flo? I changed my settings to display 'completed' weeks rather than current as didn't like the way it was set up!

Mum637k · 25/04/2019 07:21

@ducksandacorns I an,yes and thanks so much! That helps 😂 it is 4+5 now.

So...I did an IC this morning and saw a feint positive...going to test again on Sat just to double check before telling DH....eek!

Katy85 · 25/04/2019 19:51

@Chembecky ooh exciting, did you take a photo and we could give it a fresh pair of eyes for you?

Chembecky · 25/04/2019 20:04

@Katy85 I don't....I did it in a bit of a rush this morn and put it in the bin ....🙈 gah...! Will keep you updated when I next test....!! 🙂

Inthesky42 · 25/04/2019 21:42

@chembecky sounds very promising!

I had my early scan today.. Thankfully everything looks OK. They've confirmed I'm 6 weeks and I got to see a little tiny heartbeat. So reassuring to see it and glad the spotting wasn't anything to worry about!

and breathe....

Chembecky · 25/04/2019 21:45

@Inthesky42 oh my goodness....that is very exciting! I'm completely new to all of this (only second month of trying) so have no clues about what to do/what not to do!!

Pop1234 · 26/04/2019 19:28

@Mum637k have you kept your scan at next Saturday or have you changed it?

Mum637k · 26/04/2019 19:37

@Pop1234 I have changed it to 18th of May! 😄 next week wouldn't have even be six weeks 😳 silly me. Didn't realise since I've known for ages got my bfp early 😂 how are you, how are your symptoms?

OP posts:
Pop1234 · 26/04/2019 19:46

@Mum637k cool!! It will fly by. I'm ok thank you, having some stretching pains down below a bit now so hoping that's a good sign and my boobs are still sore. I'm 9 weeks today and apparently symptoms can start to fade a little. How are your symptoms?

Mum637k · 26/04/2019 21:33

@Pop1234 are your symptoms becoming more mild then? I have almost no symptoms except terrible constipation/bloating and sore boobs. It's so strange, so different from last time. I'm hoping it'll be a smooth pregnancy 🤞🏻

Chembecky · 27/04/2019 07:34

Got my BFP...! A little bit shocked! @Mum637k I think I'm 4+4 so we're pretty close together!
