So my AF has arrived today but looking forward to having another go at TTC for a baby in November 2019.

Cycle: 4
Age: 34
CD: 1

Anyone else want to join in the same position as we try to get through this next cycle together?

@LJ87 I’m on cycle 8 so not that long either. It’s a long hard road isn’t it? I bought a 90 day fertility friend subscription that just expired yesterday so I paid for a full year today. I secretly thought that surely I’d get pregnant within the 90 days but lo and behold I didn’t! Hmm

veeboo · 22/02/2019 18:02

Hi all just placemarking again as for some reason I can't see the thread on my app anymore! @ale2992 that does seem a bit insensitive. Maybe she wasn't thinking. I'd just not reply for a bit then change subject and let her get the hint. It's such a minefield, I've found I can't expect my friends to know how I'm feeling if I've not been honest so I'm starting to open up about it a bit more.

dragonmummy17 · 22/02/2019 21:45

Hi jumping over from February bus if that's ok. TTC since April 18 (I'm not counting cycles anymore!)
CD8 and second day of flashing smiley so it seems I will ovulate early this month... glad I'm testing otherwise I think we would have missed it!

LJ87 · 23/02/2019 00:04

I’m out for a Nov baby :(
AF came along just in the last few minutes....guess I’m back to a 28 day cycle! I’m away for the weekend and I’m glad I drank some wine cause it wouldn’t have made a difference! Away with one of my pregnant friends tho which isn’t so easy! Wishing everyone else better luck this month! Here’s to next month for me 😘 thanks all xxxx

Peachyx2505 · 23/02/2019 07:51

@LJ87 sorry to hear af arrived. But glad you had some wine. Be kind to yourself and try to enjoy your weekend lovely xx

Paddypaws91 · 23/02/2019 08:00

Hi ladies, hope you're all doing okay.

I have a question that comes with a TMI warning ⚠️

Yesterday (2dpo) there was a bit of blood when I went to the toilet. It wasn't like normal pink spotting, it was a bright red blood clot.

Has anyone ever experienced this at around 2dpo?

It's probably just ovulation bleeding, I may have ovulated later than expected, but my CM would suggest I ovulated when my app said I did. It's probably nothing but I've never experienced "spotting" like that before 🤔

@LJ87 really sorry about AF. Have a fab weekend away and drink to your hearts content 🍷

WildFlower2019 · 23/02/2019 09:51

How big was the clot @Paddypaws91?

I had one this week after DTD which was very tiny and small. I put it down to too much sex!

As you might have read above I've had several tiny bits of unexplained bleeding this month so I've been swabbed for infections at the docs.

Paddypaws91 · 23/02/2019 10:25

@WildFlower2019 it wasn't a big clot, it looked like the sort of clot you would get on your period. I'm putting it down to ovulation due to the timing, not likely to be anything else.

Sorry you've had some unexplained bleeding, I have got some serious catching up to do on this thread! Will you get the results soon?

Chanel05 · 23/02/2019 12:42

@LJ87 sorry to hear that af has arrived. Wishing you baby dust for the next cycle.

Sooo. FF tells me I’m 5dpo. However. I’ve had a temp drop below the cover line today but yet another flashing smiley this morning 🙈. I did a cheapie opk and a line seems to be forming but not dark yet. Can anyone help me make sense of my madness? I haven’t been this obsessive for a good 6 months.

Can I join?

CD-7
Age-34
Cycle - lost count...10, maybe? Since jan 1st 2018, but I have long cycles.

Had a chem last cycle, which was bittersweet - first positive in over a year, but obvs didn't stick. Have appointment with the GP to start to talk about next steps on the 4th, but the chem has given me hope that if we time things better/shag a lot we might do it in our own. OH is down in London a lot for work, so sometimes timings are just off...but we will persevere. At least the mechanism is fun ;-)

veeboo · 23/02/2019 15:24

Welcome @flyingplum! Sorry about your chemical. It sounds like you are keeping positive though.

Sorry @Chanel05 I don't understand what temp drops indicate.

Does anyone else not log symptoms to pretend they aren't happening?! Or just me? I've had cramps today and itchy boobs which are my normal week before AF symptoms so I have refused to log then in my app!

flyingplum · 23/02/2019 15:28

I log them to improve the predictions. Flo actually worked out i had implantation cramps last month, which I was pretty impressed with!

BudgieBird · 23/02/2019 15:46

Joining late...

TTC 1
Cycle 1 (finished my last pills early January)
CD 10
Age 34

Got my first flashing smiley on the Clearblue advanced today, and looks like I'll ovulate next Wednesday or Thursday. I used the Clearblue for the hell of it my first cycle off the pill and got four days low fertility, six days high fertility, no peak before I quit using it. My cycle was 27 days so I'm guessing I missed the LH surge or simply didn't have one. I'm going to keep using the Clearblue first thing in the morning and a cheapie in late afternoon to see if I can catch an LH surge this time around.

I am an impatient person and this entire process is going to knock me about I suppose!

Best of luck to all. I'd love to have a child in 2019.

MrsP4 · 23/02/2019 17:20

Hi girls can anyone help, I'm 10DPO had a few cramps here and there and a couple of pains every now and then in my boobs but all yesterday and all day today I've had this annoying stitch like pain on my right side it's not wind and not indigestion has anyone ever had this?

ale2992 · 24/02/2019 10:11

So I took another test this morning and I think I can se the faintest of faint lines but not 100% Going to test again tomorrow and see what I get 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Explorers10 · 24/02/2019 10:20

@mrsp4

I usually have that sort of pain on day of ovulation. Fingers crossed you have implanted

@ale2992 sounds positive! Let us know tomorrow how you get on

Kinsella82 · 24/02/2019 10:21

Fingers crossed @ale2992
Af is due today if all goes to plan according to my app. Can't say I'm not disappointed. I've done tests yesterday and day before and not even a hint of a line :(

Explorers10 · 24/02/2019 10:22

I’ve got my 1st flashing smiley face today CD15 on clearblue opk. how long before anyone got a static smiley face? Also got a sore throat so annoying to be ill during fertile week! Does this affect anything

OP posts:
flyingplum · 24/02/2019 10:24

@Explorers10 - re illness...dunno. The only BFP we had was made while we both had horrible flu (dedication to the cause!) but it didn't stick. Don't think the latter part had owt to do with our sickliness though.

MrsP4 · 24/02/2019 11:24

@Explorers10 Oh I do hope so think I might do a FRER in the morning 🙏🏻

MrsP4 · 24/02/2019 11:25

Also @Explorers10 I was really ill in Jan had a viral infection ended up in hospital on a drip being ill delayed ovulation for me that month by about 5 days

dragonmummy17 · 24/02/2019 11:50

@Explorers10 I've had a cold all week and ovulation seems to be happening as usual... 4 days of flashing smiley, ewcm and nipple soreness today. Made myself dtd even though I haven't really felt like it!
@MrsP4 I think pain on right side is good. For me I had right hip pain the month I was actually pregnant, usually it's the left. Good luck

MrsP4 · 24/02/2019 12:11

I do hope so @dragonmummy17 I will update you all in the morning 🙏🏻

ale2992 · 24/02/2019 13:14

@Kinsella82 thank you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

veeboo · 24/02/2019 19:40

Good luck @ale2992 and @MrsP4 for tests in the morning.

I'm now 7dpo and have decided not to test. AF is due on Saturday 2nd. I have my infertility ultrasound on the 4th and if I'm late then I'm just going to tell them. I assume if the scan shouldn't take place when you're pregnant they will deal with that at the time? When I booked they said it can take place at any point in cycle.
