So my AF has arrived today but looking forward to having another go at TTC for a baby in November 2019.

Cycle: 4
Age: 34
CD: 1

Anyone else want to join in the same position as we try to get through this next cycle together?

@Explorers10 it's so difficult to advise. If you don't normally have irregular cycles I'd suggest you dtd every other day and see what happens this week.

Cycles are regular between 28 and 31 days. Just worrying about not getting a peak!

@Explorers10 All the guidance on the box suggests that's fairly normal although really frustrating I know! Ive definitely had a positive after CD19 before. Do you know how long your luteal window is?

No idea how long my luteal window is. Just read on another thread '5 days of flashing smiley faces' that's this seems to be a common problem with no peak smiley!

@Explores10 the reason I ask is the last 3 months I've settled into a regular-ish cycle where the date between peak and AF has been 13 days each time. It took 8 months and a couple of random cycles to get there but it was the Clearblue opks which helped me see that pattern. Just in case it helps you persevere with them next month. Xx

Thanks veeboo, this is the first time I've used the clear blue advanced, normally use the clearblue where pinpoints just low and peak fertility. Really hope your AF is not arriving! I definitely knew I was pregnant with my first straight away but I still feel the same and not different so I reckon I'm out this month

@Explorers10, today was my sixth day of flashing smileys. My last stick is tomorrow and then I'll give up on it! Still no sign of an LH surge on my cheap strips either...

@Explorers10 are you using fertility friend, I find that quite good at predicting things? I never got on with the digital ovulation tests.

So I got a feint bfp this morning
At 10dpo. I have a short LP so AF is due tomorrow so praying it doesn’t turn up and this continues to progress.

Thanks for all the replies yesterday, I didn't test this morning! Af should be due today but I've normally had spotting for a few days by now and not feeling any pms.
Definitely feeling pregnant! Ringing my doctors today and have already booked an early scan for 7 weeks.
How's everyone else doing?

I've still not had a surge on my cheapy opk either. The test line was darker yesterday morning but nowhere near the control line. Maybe I'll Ovulate a day or two later this month? We've been crap at dtd this week as I've just been so tired. Falling asleep by 9pm! So if ov is late that'll be great as we are away this weekend 😃😃 x

Also does anyone know where I stand with regards to requesting time off for my appointment but not telling them what the appointment is for I just really don't want to tell work yet x

Not sure where you stand as I know once you say your pregnant they have to give you the time off. Hopefully you can say you can be in a bit later as have doctors appt?

@budgiebird have you used your last stick? I’ve given up on it too. No way am I buying another pack this month to find my LH surge. I must have missed ovulation. Frustrating though as no idea when I ovulated.

@zarara not used fertility friend, will give it a go. Good luck that’s exciting you got a faint bfp. Fingers crossed AF does not show

@Explorers10 Used my last stick in this pack today...another flashing smiley! Argh. The thing is, I have another unopened pack, and my silly paranoid brain is thinking, "If you open it and lose your ability to return it and get your money back, you'll get the result you want." Sod's law and all. I know that's silly magical thinking but TTC is driving me mad Grin Likewise I don't know if the twinges of pain I'm feeling near my groin are mittelschmerz or just strain from walking a few miles in uncomfortable high heels. I think I should just step away from all this for a while...

@ale2992 Congratulations! Surely it's not your work's business why you're going to the doctor? It could be for anything health-related and you have a right to privacy until you're ready to tell them you're pregnant. Could you just tell them you have an appointment scheduled and that's all?

@budgiebird its so frustrating isn’t it! I bet you were like flashing smiley what a surprise and also wanting to smash the thing up! Let me know if you end up opening another pack! All my apps are telling me the fertile week is over so I’m going to just dtd tomorrow & mon then give it a rest

Happy Friday!

I'm so proud of myself ladies. I thought sod it I'm going to POAS today. Unwrapped the packaging, opened the box, went to the bathroom fully geared up to do it...and then...talked myself out of it and put it away. I had promised myself I wouldn't test early and as painful as it was at the time, I'm glad I didn't do it. 9dpo today.

Anybody else holding out until AF is due?

Frantically cleaning the house to take my mind off it 🤪
