MrsP4 I’m CD7! AF still hanging about tho.

I’ve gone back onto sevensea’s supplements cos I read they help regulate your cycle so we’ll see. I’m planning on starting my CB sticks on CD 10 tho it feels too soon as AF still around.

@hopeful31 are you testing every morning?

Hope we get some more bfp’s this month 🤞

GreyWolf · 03/03/2019 19:16

Hope you get some answers @MrsP4

CD11 here, day 3 of flashing smiley. Using ICs to test in the afternoon so I don't waste the CB sticks too soon (desperate not to miss the surge but aware it could still be a long wait!)

hopeful31 · 03/03/2019 19:55

I've been testing for the last few days @Bumpingalong84.

I was convinced that I was pregnant a few days ago. My period only lasted 2 and a half days. My boobs are tender, backache, very emotional and cramps. I was convinced that the tests were all wrong. But I did a cheapie yesterday and it's negative haha. I think I'm losing my mind ladies HELP

Hi, I’m new on here! We have started trying - Feb. 10 to be exact! - I took my first test last weekend (2 weeks after) got a negative, took another this morning (3 weeks now) another negative, (I had a small period for 2 1/2 days ago that ended the day before yesterday) I keep reading different times you should test, is it possible I’m testing too early? This was not my regular period, a little shorter, lighter, and very sticky ((like bloody mucous (sorry if that’s TMI)) but I read that meant my estrogen levels were abnormally high? I’m thinking maybe I should take wait another week? This waiting game is almost too much!!!

Mymedusa24 · 03/03/2019 20:46

@hopeful31 maybe you are testing too early? I was reading about how all women naturally have a certain HCG level in their bodies - pregnant or not; but everyone’s natural level is different, the lower your level is, the longer it can take for your HCG level to increase when pregnant, (and vice versa) I just had a 2 1/2 day period too and have been showing all kinds of early symptoms but find myself feeling uncertain too.. when I tested today, it was also negative but I feel like I am!!!

MrsP4 · 03/03/2019 20:53

Thanks ladies! @hopeful31 NHS DH just said that we had been trying for a year so they referred him straight away, then I went and just said we've been trying since September I'm having regular periods getting positive OPKs but nothings happening and the doctor said he can't refer me to a specialist until we've been trying for a year but he said he would do DAY 4 and DAY21 Bloods to check to see if I'm actually ovulating aa they can check by progesterone levels at CD21 in a 28 day cycle so we will see. Will literally do anything at the minute to try and get pregnant, I'm even starting yoga on Tuesday 😂🙈

hopeful31 · 03/03/2019 21:49

Hi @Mymedusa24 yes wait a while and see. Did u test with any opks?
I usually test around this time with my clear blue opks. My afs are irregular and so is my ovulation so I just need to be careful and keep track.

@MrsP4 when do u get the sperm results back? I'm taking this horrible powder that is ment to be great for fertility. It makes me almost vomit but needs must and all that haha

OP posts:
Mymedusa24 · 03/03/2019 22:06

@hopeful31 I have not, I used an ovulation calendar checker. My afs are pretty regular though. I’m buying more tests as I’ve read it is best to test a week after afs.. this all so new to me though..

MrsP4 · 04/03/2019 23:31

@hopeful31 says 10 working days but we're hoping maybe one day this week, if DHs sperm comes back ok I think I'll relax a bit, it's just all the not knowing freaks me out 🙈

hopeful31 · 05/03/2019 19:24

Does any one know if it's possible to not ovulate? I'm on cd12 and usually have a flashing smiley at this stage and I have nothing. I even bought new tests incase the battery was going on the test and it's the same. I'm worried that I may not ovulate this month. Is it possible??

OP posts:
becca3210 · 05/03/2019 20:08

Yes @hopeful31 definitely possible to not ovulate. Can be common in people with polycystic ovaries etc. Mine is the opposite expecting to ovulate late but getting EWCM today and yesterday. Don’t want a smiley face yet until husband is back!!

hopeful31 · 05/03/2019 20:17

Thanks @becca3210 . I've never been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries but I've a few signs of it. Hoping I just ovulate late.
I'm getting so sick of ttc. It really takes over ur life

OP posts:
becca3210 · 05/03/2019 20:42

Aww I really sympathise. I feel silly for thinking about it a lot as only a few months in. Perhaps is because I have been thinking about it/planning it etc for a while before actually starting so feels longer than it is. I envy those ‘go with the flow let’s see what happens’ kind of people!

hopeful31 · 05/03/2019 21:54

I envy those people too. But I am very clearly the opposite haha. Very very far from 'go with the flow '

Morning all. @hopeful31 sorry you aren’t getting a falshing smiley yet, still time tho, hope you get one this morning.

I started testing this morning using clear blue, it was a blank face so hoping I’ll get a flashing smiley in next few days. Not sure what to expect.

GreyWolf · 06/03/2019 09:25

Hope you get a smiley soon @hopeful31

6th flashing smiley this morning, think I'll start testing afternoons as well now - really want that static smiley!!

@becca3210 I stupidly thought I'd be one of those go-with-the-flow people - nope! Grin

hopeful31 · 06/03/2019 12:11

I've been doing some research and it says that some times the opks miss the hormone surge but u still ovulate. Judging by my cm, I think ovulation is still happening so I'm going to judge ovulation by fertility friend and dtd as normal

OP posts:
hopeful31 · 06/03/2019 18:05

Alls good. Finally got my flashing smiley this afternoon. So just a late ovulation I guess

OP posts:
GreyWolf · 06/03/2019 20:41

That's reassuring @hopeful31

becca3210 · 06/03/2019 21:09

Oh good @hopeful31. Hope everyone ok! No smiley face today which am pleased about as means ovulation should be when I can DTD which is good. One of my best friends is getting married on Fri so looking at the positives - can drink what I like! Grin

becca3210 · 06/03/2019 21:48

Also.. anyone else just feeling generally achey most of the month? Have the usual period cramps and then this week I have hip pain achey back/tummy not ovulating yet don’t think so not sure what that’s about? And of course the aches and general symptom spotting of the 2WW! Can’t remember the acheiness when on the pil but maybe I did have it and just didn’t notice?!!

Bumpingalong84 · 06/03/2019 22:13

Evening ladies. @becca3210 completely get you, since coming off the pill I feel my body has been up the spout 😂 aches, pains hormones, spotting.

@hopeful31 🙌 on a flashing smiley. I’m hoping I won’t get loads of blank circles,

hopeful31 · 07/03/2019 07:04

I am so relieved. I really didn't want a month with no ovulation.

@becca3210 I hope that these are good signs xx

OP posts:
becca3210 · 07/03/2019 08:21

Morning all! Glad to hear am not the only achey one! Got smiley today (using the cheaper clear blue ones where you only get the static smiley) so looking like ovulation will be 5 days earlier than last month! Probably good that is earlier in the cycle than last month (cd16) tomorrow but does mean that as husband only back today haven’t dtd in the lead up to it but oh well at least if DTD for the next few days hopefully will be ok x

hopeful31 · 07/03/2019 15:22

🤞🏼 @becca3210 that's it's enough and u get ur bfp xx
