Anybody starting their tww?
Mine starts today, my app says test on the 25th so I'm challenging myself not to test early this time!

Come join me for 14 days of symptom spotting and a healthy dose of moaning about mean AF.

I caved and ordered some cheapie tests BUT I've set the delivery date to be when I am 10dpo! I feel a bit calmer knowing I have tests on the way and when they come I won't be testing too early!

@Tedsy I’m only doing so much because I am on limited time frame. I’m probably trying too much! Best to stay as chilled as possible I reckon.

@Mooey89 that looks positive to me. It's meant to be anything darker than the control line for positive I think.

I'm getting nothing yet on the opks but only CD15 so ov is likely to be a way off yet (Assuming 14days before AF due I'll be around cd20-24 mark). Be interesting to see when ov actually happens though.

@Lauraliverpool glad it's moving in the right direction.

@Shortandsweet96 that's why I don't keep any in the house then order them. Delays the testing. I also find once I've got up and had a wee the urge to test is gone for another day as I rationalise that there is no point as fmu is gone! Anything to get through the day!!

Hi ladies

Been a few days since I last posted.
Am on CD21 and think should be ov soon due to ewcm. That is quite a lot earlier than my usual (rubbish) ov around cd29. So DTD to try to capture but although ewcm suggests ov, opk is not saying that yet. So who knows!!!

I would be really pleased if my cycle reduces this time as have been taking angus cactus so would be amazing if that worked. Going to DTD as many days as we can manage over the next week and see.

Have my endocrinologist appt Tuesday afternoon so will report back 😬😄👍

@agteacht good luck! BDing now and then Bding when you get a positive opk can't hurt!. I swear my DH is having the time of his life ttc!

Can I ask you all a bit of a personal question? How often do you get to DTD within your fertile window?? We usually get 3-4 in the week Flo has as FW, then a few more throughout the rest of the month! I’m worried we aren’t shagging enough!

@mooey89. Probably about the same, if not less! Definitely think me and OH aren't shagging enough but maybe thats just because we haven't had a BFP yet.

Ok so embrassing but OH must came home from work, put his pyjamas on and led on the sofa. He promised we would go food shopping when he came back. I mentioned it to him as he's left me at home all day with no food and no car go go anywhere and he's just told me to help clean the whole house before we go. I but at into tears!!!! Is that the emotional pregnancy symptom or am I just hungry and bores to 'tears'?!

@Mooey89 average 3-4 times/month but only managed 2 this cycle because DH was away a bit.

Currently not at all outside fertile week 🤣🙀

@ShortandSweet96 that may well be hormonal I agree, but I would do absolutely the same tbh in that situation!! Hope he gets up soon!!!

Bloomin heck! Last month and this month we have been dtd every other day from just after af till about a week before the next af! No wonder my DH has started unloading the dishwasher

Hi could I join this thread please I’ve been trying to concieve for over a year now and am starting to feel down hearted I have a regular cycle of 30 days, I went to the doctors to have the day 2 and 21 blood tests and my progesterone levels have come back low, the doctor has said they will like to do more examinations but this is on hold until my partner has given his semen sample this is the first cycle I have used pre seed does anyone else use this? I’m coming up to the 2ww and AF is due 3/3/19

Welcome @rach031 I'm afraid i don't know much about 21 day bloods ect as I've only been trying for a few months, but a few ladies on here are in a similar boat to you so feel free to chat and/or moan about it with us!
Glad to hear the doctors are willing to investigate further.

Sounds like the best way to do it! Have you looked much into SMEP? This is out second cycle trying it so hopefully we'll get a BFP soon!

Did the doctor not prescribe you progesterone tablets then if this is low? Or did they recommend you use progesterone cream or anything? X

Hi @scortish1 Goodluck for this cycle! No he hasn’t I was worried as I got the results from the receptionist on a Friday to wait over a weekend before I could speak to my doctor about this result so I was going google crazy in the meantime. My question to do the doctor was if my levels were low did this mean I don’t ovulate and he said that as I have regular cycles I am ovulating. My other question was with low levels I’ve read you can struggle to carry a baby full term and are more prone to miscarriage he said I was getting ahead of myself here and that I will be referred to the hospital will to have some internal examinations once my DP has given his sample so it just seems like a waiting game now my partner has an 8yr old daughter from a previous relationship so I don’t think the problem lays with him and because of this we won’t be eligible for IVF I do wonder if I see a different doctor if they will say the same thing

@Rach031 SMEP is sperm meets egg plan. Basically you dtd every other day then every day over ovulation to maximise chances.

Try not to worry until you have some more info (easier said than done). Hopefully the doctors will be able to answer the rest of your questions soon. 8years is a long time so still worth him getting checked out.
