Anybody starting their tww?
Mine starts today, my app says test on the 25th so I'm challenging myself not to test early this time!

Come join me for 14 days of symptom spotting and a healthy dose of moaning about mean AF.

@Frizzy1986 I'm the same trying to convince myself it will be negative but secretly hoping 😉 having cramps today 5 days DPO and AF not due until 02/02 according to Clue app but only our first cycle ttc and I was on the pill so probably just cycle being all out but I'm still hoping!

@lizzie198 defo not the first test. I've been peeing on sticks like a crazy person since 6dpo 😳

@agteacht I'm defo with you there with testing too early! I wasn't upset with negs though as I knew it was too early, I just needed to be getting some stats done. Costing me a blummin fortune!!

@Frizzy1986 easy for me to say but it's still early days for our cycle. Still 4 days until AF due. Are the symptoms you're getting right now normal for you?

@peaky1 congratulations! What wonderful news! Same DPO as me, maybe I'll invest in a FRER tomorrow..

@peaky1 definitely not normal for me, but not unheard of so trying to be realistic. Had a bit of heartburn today which was what convinced me with dd but again, I had it a few months ago and it ended up being nothing.

How many dpo are you? @ShortandSweet96 Think we might be a days difference.. So tempted to test earlier than Saturday now 😂

Guess what, my ic tests arrived today (a day early) I know I'll end up testing tomorrow now as didn't want to waste my one frer. They were supposed to arrive tomorrow so that would mean a Thursday test at 12dpo and 2 days before af. But now I'll test tomorrow and be disappointed. Think I'm having some slightly sharper cramps now and boobs are less sore. I guess at least my frer will be ready for next cycle. I know the ic tests are renowned to be a bit rubbish at times but oh well

@ShortandSweet96 I’m either 10/11 dpo today. Don’t know if I can make it till Saturday!!!

I caved this morning and did IC-big fat negative. I was feeling very nauseous and sore boobed yesterday so thought I would test just in case - now all the signs have gone back to normal.. think maybe it was wishful thinking because my family was talking about babies

I'm still getting negs on cheapies (co-op) so don't sweat it until you bring out the big guns (or period arrives)

Tedsy you're a similar cycle to me I think. I'll be caving in the morning, but with the increase in cramps it's going to be a bfn, just trying to prepare myself for it.

@Frizzy1986 fingers crossed some good news for you if you do cave!

I thought I was prepared this morning, but someone as much as I expected a negative I was still a little disappointed. Prob won't test again now unless af is late.

So I caved and used my last FRER.
I’m going mad. Absolutely going mad.
At first it was obviously stark white. But then I shone by iPhone torch behind it and there was an obvious shadow where the second line would be. But it’s almost invisible from the window. Like, I’m not even sure if I’m seeing it. AF is due on Thursday so it would surely be more visible if it was a BFP. Do they all show up shadow second lines if you shine a light behind them??? I’m an idiot, I hate this!!

Can you show us a pic of it @Mooey89 ? I was holding my earlier ones up to the bathroom light as it shines through and I swore I was seeing a squinter of some sort

I have no idea BTW about the shadows with a torch. I'm sat with a hot water bottle wrapped round my waist eating a crunchie as my cramps come and go.

Agh I have really bad cramps like AF should be here in the morning but I thought I was 7dpo 😬😬😬

Another day another ttc drama!

Tested and bfn. Boobs aren't sore anymore and all those "symptoms" have gone. Think it's just a random month and af will appear by the weekend. Onto Feb I reckon.

Sorry to hear that @Frizzy1986 😢 Af has not shown up for you yet though! 🤞🏻

@scottish1 it's ok. I think it was wishful thinking with all the different feelings this month. It's just not meant to be this time. I'll hold off testing until the weekend now, although last time I felt like this I was a few days late anyway so it'll just be annoying until she shows.

Well looks like af has started. 3 days early, bloody annoying, but at least I know I'm out and can move onto Feb. Only got another month or 2 until we take a break as I don't want another Christmas baby (dd1 is Xmas eve but was due Jan)

Another bfn for me this morning and starting to get the usual AF twinges 😞 so think I'm out this month too, due thurs/fri. Can't bring myself to tell DH yet...

Oh well here's to our new TWW thread in a few weeks at least!
