Mine starts today, my app says test on the 25th so I'm challenging myself not to test early this time!

Hi ladies

I joined you about a week ago thinking I had started the TWW but kept doing OPKs and a couple of days later had peak so think I ovulated much later than I had thought.

So here I am again now 4DPO on a 43 day cycle 😬
Have had cramps and sore boobs ever since so desperately hoping AF doesn't suddenly pop up...

DTD the day of ovulation and three times in the five days before, and used pre-seed. So hopefully we have a good chance this cycle and cycle #13 is a lucky one for us 👍

Right, I caved. Husband went out to buy tests and got Tesco cheapies which are for use from the first day of missed period (which is not until Monday)
I think I see a line, anyone else??

I do think I can see the faintest of shadows, BUT I think those blue dyes can be notorious for false positives like that.
Do a pink dye xx fingers crossed for you x

Boobs are suddenly so sore around the sides and towards my armpits! I noticed while walking down the stairs lol. God I hate waiting!

Thanks for your eyes everyone. DH thinks I am crazy and it’s negative, but I will get a pink or a digital today (so much for not spending loads of money on tests!)

It's really hard not to get your hopes up. My tender boobs have gone today and flo tells me that I am due af in 5 days. I think it's just af signs or af is going to be early. Even though I'm quite aware of my signs of af, each month I seem to think "Ooo this is new, maybe, just maybe" but it's never really the case.
I only have 1 test in the house and will wait until next weekend to use it. I wasted all my ic tests in September as I was 2 days late, had "symptoms" and had just been offered a new job. Obviously it ended up being a 30 day cycle which I had never had before to mess with my head before accepting a job offer.
figuringitout fingers crossed for you. I think I can see something faint but as people have said some people find the blue dyes less reliable.

So, did the other blue one - no lines. However (my crazy) rationalisation is:
Period not due til tomorrow.
Neither test was FMU
Not a test designed to test early.
I don’t feel like I’m about to come on
Meanwhile in reality, we’ve not had enough sex and so it’s probably negative! I’ll update when I get a different test. I might wait until FMU tomorrow to take it.

Yes I feel slightly nuts too overanalysing every twinge.. I thought it'd get easier once I was in treatment because then at least I had a chance but the ttw is a killer :(

@Figuringitout Me! 😂 Just been talking to the husband and he says he only wants to give it until March so two more cycles after this one!!!! He turns 45 in March so feels too old! I hope I can push it until May if needs be! Starting to freak out hearing about how long it’s taking people 😭

@Scottish1 we too have a time limit, we had said Feb, but that would be a lot of pressure as I have got my hopes up for this month. I feel like I just need a definitive answer (and even then, I am all too aware that it doesn’t automatically result in a baby). I spent my teenage years convinced I could get pregnant at the drop of a hat, but it’s definitely not that simple. Sympathies to all feeling similar.

I have the exact same mind set as you.
Haven't taken tests for early detection, except one FRER, which was negative, but I did it the day before it says you can.. plus not FMU.
My internet cheapies have really poor reviews I've noticed, people comparing their BFP with the negative IC. So that's probably why I'm not even getting a hint of line.

But really we haven't been trying long, I was a smoker until cold turkey after ovulation, I drink, I do eat healthy but I feel like because I'm not a non-process food eating vegan I'm unhealthy and it won't happen :( driving me insane all the thoughts I have!

@figuringitout I see a shadow of a line too.

I caved today and tested with a pink dye and while I've convinced myself theres a shadow I think its a bfn. I feel like a crazy person looking at it at all angles and getting line eyes.

I bought a pink one. Just done it now, and obviously haven’t been holding a wee in all day, so wasn’t expecting much. However, there is something there isn’t there? I’m not going mad am I? Shop didn’t have and FRER or CB digital - will be putting an Amazon order in. So, will have clearly spent shed loads of money on tests after saying I wouldn’t!!
Am going to test again with the other test and FMU tomorrow.

Ahh that's a pretty obvious positive, congratulations, can't believe how many BFP'S we've had in this thread already. This thread keeps me sane-ish!

How many dpo are you @figuring? And is that a coop £2.50 test?! Tried yo get some this evening but coop completely cleared out of all tests!

I think i ovulated on 17/01 we last DTD the night of 13/01 so all within the life of sperm I think? I then came down with dizziness followed by a stinking cold all of this last week.

It's our first month TTC so I'm very excited and trying not to symptom spot.

I haven't been testing for ovulation just went off the discharge which usually signals it.

I am next due AF 02/02 been having mild tummy craps for last 24 hours and a really vivid dream last night but nothing else so trying to convince myself it won't happen this month but who knows?

Sounds promising! A few of us ladies here had mild tummy cramps too! I still do but can only feel them if I stretch or tense. Almost like a pulled muscle kind of feeling.
