@cupcakesandglitter just saw that AF arrived. Hugs and hope!

cupcakesandglitter · 02/10/2018 21:50

Thankyou @ValidUser @SenoraSurf @Teachermummy83 ❤️ I'm being positive now but I guarantee I'll be mad as shit tomorrow 😂😂

Teachermummy83 · 02/10/2018 22:24

@cupcakesandglitter, you wouldn’t be normal if you didn’t get mad as shit about the witch that is AF!!!
Fingers crossed this is the last we see of that witch for a while!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

FlapJackered · 02/10/2018 23:01

Just checking in and see that AF has arrived @Delilah7! I know a bfp is preferable and I know for you 34 days is long but at least it wasn't longer. That's not too far off your normal which I think is a really good sign your body is getting back to normal.

@cupcakesandglitter if it is AF for you I am glad that you know where you are. This cycle for me I started bleeding and then it suddenly stopped until the next day and then it started again,

I have just finished AF and gone from feeling very low to feeling positive and philosophical about it all. I am staying with my gorgeous nephew this week, he is mostly lovely but he is teething and has started trying to bite the poor dog and his parents and me. It's not an easy job raising a child that is for sure! 😬

MrsR16 · 02/10/2018 23:05

Looks like there'll be lots of us in the 2WW together this month! CD3 for me today...

KatBeCool · 03/10/2018 03:36

@Delilah7 wohoo! Finally you're moving forward!

@FivexFive while TTC you can dye your hair any way you want. When pregnant, you can use ammonia-free dyes.

@FlapJackered welcome to the other side of AF! My fertile week has started yesterday.

@cupcakesandglitter maybe it's like that due to stress, absolutely possible. As long as it's gone, you're good. Sounds like a very light AF.

summer28 · 03/10/2018 06:35

Hi everyone, just caught up on the thread from the last couple of days. I'm glad AF finally arrived for those of you who were waiting. TWW dragging over here, my toughest one yet as I've felt poorly and just not right for the last 5 days or so. Falling asleep as soon as I get home, back ache, painful abdomen. So I've been miserable! Anyone else feeling like this this time around? Xxx

Crossfitgirl · 03/10/2018 06:43

Sorry for all the bloody witches that have crept up yesterday but glad you're all able to move on to a fresh cycle.
Welcome to the newbies too :-) great to have new ladies on here to share the fun!

I may be joining you all very soon with AF, I am due AF Saturday but got a teeny but of pink spotting last night and very crampy today. Feels like it's coming and soon!

I'm sort of excited though, as soon as AF arrives I can go get my blood test done.

For those of you that have had the day 1-3 and day 21 blood tests before, I have a question - do you count spotting or full flow as day 1? My GP suggested that if I normally spot for a few days before AF starts properly, I should get it done on the 3rd day of spotting, however everything I've read online points to that the first day of full red flow counts as day 1?

mrsof20118 · 03/10/2018 06:46

Let's hope we all get our positives soon. I took a test this morning and it was negative. I think I've been in limbo so much for the past few days I actually feel ok with seeing it as I'm not driving myself crazy not knowing now and can concentrate on moving forward now.

Crossfitgirl · 03/10/2018 06:47

@summer28 They sound like pg symptoms, but then it mimics AF too so who knows? I've had the same apart from the backache last few days. Xx

Crossfitgirl · 03/10/2018 06:47

@mrsof201118 sending you massive hugs xxx

mrsof20118 · 03/10/2018 06:57

@Crossfitgirl thank you. Think I knew deep down just needed to see it in black and white so that I can stop overthinking.
Xx

BabySquid · 03/10/2018 07:16

@mrsof20118 that mega sucks, I know what you mean tho that's how I felt, still doesn't stop it hurting tho. We're all here for you.
Apparently my FW starts today according to Flo. I really hope this is my month for a sticky BFP as I was hoping to avoid being pg for August (my 30th and I'm my besties MOH)

Delilah7 · 03/10/2018 07:27

@Teachermummy83 fingers crossed lovely x x

@SenoraSurf welcome :) thank you xxx

@Bettyhop how exciting for you ❤️❤️

@FlapJackered I'm ok though. I knew I wasn't so I just wanted period to come hahaha xx

@KatBeCool yep I can't wait ❤️

Feeling ok this morning, just trying to relax this month and cycle and not give myself a hard time xxx

@mrsof20118 I am sorry hun. I hope you're ok. 💐

@Crossfitgirl I didn't get any spotting before but what does your temp do? If your temp goes down on the first day of spotting I would count that as day 1 but if it doesn't drop until the main event then I would wait.
That is great they have agreed to do the tests. 🤞🏻 they come out normal for you!

Thanks @KatBeCool - get Dtd!!! 🐎 fertile week seems so far away for me but I am going to try and focus on exercise this cycle and I talked to DH and we are going to properly attempt smep this cycle. 😬

FlapJackered · 03/10/2018 07:45

@Delilah7 i was actually quite relived when ah turned up for me in a way. It is just good to know where you stand isn't it. Sounds like a good PoA to me! 😉 xx

Delilah7 · 03/10/2018 07:53

@FlapJackered so am I! Didn't want it to go on forever. defo just gonna start doing the deed from CD10 I think and onwards every other day if possible. Other half is unwell with a bad chest infection and he gets them for ages so fingers crossed he's up for it in a week or so hahaha xx

@mrsof20118 I’m sorry lovely, sending you lots of love xx

SundayShoes · 03/10/2018 11:38

Hello!
I've seen I'm some of the more recent posts that some have been tracking your temperatures. Is this quite a common way of tracking your ovulation? I've googled it now but hadn't heard of it before

BabySquid · 03/10/2018 11:41

@SundayShoes I'd never heard of it before but I do it with good results.

sunshine1987 · 03/10/2018 11:57

@sundayshoes yeah I think it’s something that’s not quite so commonly known but for me I’ve been doing it for 10 months and by far the easiest way of knowing when you ovulate. I did it at first to stop myself getting pregnant (natural cycles) and carried it on. Only problem is you can’t tell at first when you’ll ovulate until after it happens so would keep an eye on other signs your body gives but it’s reassurance for me x

Charm23 · 03/10/2018 12:39

Hi everyone
I've been following this thread as we are ttc #1, currently on cycle 7.
I'm on CD29 and due AF any time around now (average is 29) and very tempted to test but feel like I should wait a few more days.
I don't have any symptoms apart from I'm feeling a bit nauseous and "not quite right"
The only test I have in the house at the moment is a Clearblue Digital. I don't have the instructions any more so not sure when to use.
HELP! Do I take it now or wait (im)patiently? Would love someone to chat to!

ValidUser · 03/10/2018 13:29

So my clearblue fertility monitor said I ovulated on day 10. Other sticks disagreed.

Now it won't let me test any more but got a proper positive ordinary opk today on CD 16. I'm not pregnant.

Clearblue are sending me another pack of sticks for next month. They were really helpful, but now I'm just regretting not using the plain old smiley sticks!

ValidUser · 03/10/2018 13:30

@Charm23 do it!

Charm23 · 03/10/2018 13:32

@ValidUser Do you think the Clearblue Digital would definitely give an accurate result? I'm due around now but I suppose not technically late?

Also, are you on the Clearblue Clinical Trial?
