@Delilah7 of course!Grin

RanchoRelaxo · 04/09/2018 20:11

Haha cupcakesandglitter love it!
I am good! Cd9, I have still got some sticks left for my clear blue ovulation tracker and I've ordered some cheapy opks from amazon too :) will start using them as soon as they arrive I normally ov around cd20 do a while to go yet!
Am feeling a bit guilty this month, if we do succeed my due date will be slap bang right around the same time my best mate gets married and I'm a bridesmaid. I can't not try this month.. what if this is my month and I miss it! Ahh 😩🤯

cupcakesandglitter · 04/09/2018 20:14

Oh god @RanchoRelaxo 😅 I get what you mean - but you're exactly right! If you put it off, you'd regret not trying this month and always have that "what if" niggle in your head. Do what's best for you 😊 how long are your cycles, if you're ov at CD20? Xx

Malichick · 04/09/2018 20:14

Haha always enjoy catching up on this thread glad to see the positivity. Had brown/pink spotting or cm it’s just there when I wipe since yesterday afternoon so I expected AF to start but still not here. Not normal for me so I’m not sure what to think anymore....

RanchoRelaxo · 04/09/2018 20:15

ValidUser are you going for the 'traditional' method this month or using the good ol' syringe way?

BabySquid · 04/09/2018 20:16

@RanchoRelaxo you're right, you can't Not try this month, just in case! I have 4 weddings next year, and if this is my month, I'd be due right around one of the major ones, not to mention the same time as my best mates hen do and I'm her MoH... but we can't put our lives on hold. Not when it's for something this big a deal. They'll be more than happy for us. Xx

RanchoRelaxo · 04/09/2018 20:16

Normally 28/29 days cupcakes .. short luteal phase which I am trying to work on!

Malichick · 04/09/2018 20:18

@Ranchorelaxo I agree I’d always wonder what If...

Felisha · 04/09/2018 20:18

Hi Ladies,
Can I please join in

TTC: no 1
Cycle: 8
Age: 28
Had chemical pregnancy last month, really hoping for positive result this month.
Long cycles from 30-46 days, but 34 is average, AF due on the 12th September

LondonKez · 04/09/2018 20:21

@mrskbabymama I have all of that too look forward to! Recently engaged after 11 years together but decided to try for a baby first. Felt like the saving and stress would just end up being another reason to delay ttc. Also we both have 6 siblings each and 12 niece's and nephews between us so we'd be saving forever for a wedding 😂 I don't think my ovaries will last that long!

Lorrie3 · 04/09/2018 20:31

Hey ladies
I just came across this thread so thought I’d chime in- not familiar with all the terms!
I wasn’t especially Ttc but I was less than careful with my pill the last few months and missed a good few including 4 in last cycle off the pill entirely almost 4 weeks. Cycle is usually like clockwork.
AF is 16 days late done 4 tests in last 10 days and all neg so very confused
Some symptoms like sore legs hives and a lot of cramping?
Don’t know what to think. My OH is a twin and his twin brother has twins so wondering could it be the hook effect?
Have a gp apt tomorrow and not sure if it’s silly going and no idea what to expect!
Any advice or thoughts most welcome!

AngeloMysterioso · 04/09/2018 20:37

Reposting from other thread again... damn you guys move fast!

I've had a slight breakthrough after my setback last week- my GP has spoken to an endocrinologist and decided to start me on thyroxine now instead of waiting for my next blood test, so hopefully when I get tested again in 4 weeks time I'll have the green light to get cracking. Fingers crossed! Feeling much more hopeful now!

cupcakesandglitter · 04/09/2018 20:40

Oooh @Malichick be patient for a few days, could be IB!

@RanchoRelaxo ooh okay, I've seen a few ladies on threads where they were taking vitamins etc? I don't know much about this stuff, I don't even know when I ovulate 😅

Hi @Felisha xx

Hi @Lorrie3 sorry I don't know what the hook effect is sorry, but I'd get your GP to do a blood test tomorrow, just to see! Fx! X

@AngeloMysterioso fx!! Hopefully all goes well - glad you've got the go ahead though xx

ValidUser · 04/09/2018 20:43

@RanchoRelaxo back to traditional methods. Far more fun! May resort to syringes if we get tired.

FivexFive · 04/09/2018 20:44

Delilah7, preach Queen! We all rock :)
My chap this morning... 'so, are you eggy yet?' You can't beat phrasing like that! Not got a face on the clear blue digital yet, but hoping one will appear over the next few days...
Sending positive vibes to y'all whilst watching bake off :)

Delilah7 · 04/09/2018 20:49

@Felisha welcome honey sorry for your chemical :( xx

@Lorrie3 hi Hun id defo go doctors. That's a long time to be late anyways I'd say if you're regular so they'll know what to suggest xxx

@FivexFive are you eggy yet is hilarious 😂😂😂 I'd love my OH to say that. Xxx

Bettyhop · 04/09/2018 21:19

Bettyhop is back🎉 just trying to see this cycle out now hoping AF arrives at some point, now on CD 18 if counting the mc as my period usually on 25 day cycles. Going on holiday this weekend so hoping the witch doesn't spoil the party too much, if it does though at least i can be glad that things are back to some sort of normal. The mc has definitely brought me and dp closer together and made us realise just how much we want this👪 hoping for plenty of 🍆 next cycle!!

Had some family issues in that my mum, who was over the moon when we told her we were pregnant has now started to make a few comments about how the mc has given us a chance to get married first and delay becoming parents. She also said that lots of people are a few weeks late for their period and her advice would be not to test until I've missed 2 periods (next laugh please poas addict✋) I've tried explaining how important this is to us and how wanted this little baba is. Not sure she's quite on our page yet. I'm the eldest of 4 and I don't think she sees herself as old enough to be a granny.
Also work has just been...Work this week😐 roll on holidays. Not sure what the point in this essay was. Think this site has become somewhat of a secret diary for me😂
Thank you for listening to me rant. Baby dust x

FlapJackered · 04/09/2018 21:29

@mrskbabymama OMG I am literally doing the same thing with masterchef and chocolate....(plus wine).... Milf-hood is a long way off at present 🙈

@Bettyhop so sorry about your mc I think I must have missed that. I hope you're ok? That is so great that you and your DH have dealt with it so well though. 💐

BambiOnIce80 · 04/09/2018 22:22

Welcome back @RanchoRelaxo! 💐 I'm CD11, so we're not far apart again! My progress is that I actually had to check flo to know that, rather than having a ball-off-the-wall kind of response to exactly where I am this cycle 😄 Trying to be waaaayyy more chilled and less obsessive... but it is indeed fertile week from tomorrow so SSP will be lurking around the corner to test me soon! 😂

When I got married (disclaimer: I'm divorced, so possibly not the best source of wedding advice 😬) one of my bridesmaids was about 5 months pregnant on the day - I just got her a bigger dress so that it could be adjusted, so no biggy 🙂 The ex-SIL was 37 weeks pregnant, but she just bought her notes with her and got on with it. Doesn't have to be a big deal... as long as you're not literally pushing through the vows. That might be a little off-putting/up-staging 😉

MrsR16 · 04/09/2018 22:51

@BambiOnIce80 my SIL was 8 and a half months pregnant at my wedding and she was one of my bridesmaids! She did well considering!

mrskbabymama · 04/09/2018 23:18

@flapjackered it's not Masterchef Australia your watching is it? Lol

I'm so glad you all get the wedding stress. Most of it I honestly couldn't care about but it's other people adding in their tuppance and thoughts and opinions that's stressing... not that I asked for them either.

We decided that once I came back my hen we would start trying so just coming up to the end of the tww. We kind of joked saying this first cylce was a trial run as it would mean being pregnant for the wedding and honeymoon (Not that I would mind right enough) so it's a win/win either way this time round.

@delilah7 sounds shexxxy ❤

Delilah7 · 05/09/2018 07:17

@Bettyhop so sorry you've had to go through this. It's horrible I know. If it's any cancellation I was only a few days late of my normal cycle after MC so keep positive 😘regards parents unfortunately I can't relate HOWEVER, I'm sure if you announced you were pregnant things would change. Mums and dad's just think they're saying the right things to make you feel better. Work will be ok, just don't over load yourself. Love to you sweetie xxx

Hey guys, a really random question, did anyone have any seriously random incredibly vivid dreams before their BFP??? I've had three in a row now and they're the most random thing!! I'm hoping this is somehow connected but I may be clutching at imaginary straws!! Xx

Delilah7 · 05/09/2018 07:31

@BabySquid I didn't but each to their own hunny! Xx
