@ttcat32 anything's possible! DH isn't helping - he's going "well, it's only month 1 - it would have been a miracle!" And yes it would have been but there's still a glimmer of hope!

ttcat32 · 03/09/2018 19:25

@MrsR16 tell him it's possible you'll kick him in the balls if he says it again!!😂

@Delilah7 Whatever works best for you mentally, in the meantime I just bought two more 🤷‍♀️😂xx

Ebonyx · 03/09/2018 19:27

Hey everyone! Is it ok if I join?
I’m TTC I stopped taking the pill about 6 weeks ago and had a withdrawal bleed about 2 weeks later. Am I right I’m thinking my period should be due any time now?
Me and my OH have been TTC pretty much straight after I stopped taking the pill!
It’s my first time trying so any advice and stuff I will really appreciate! Grin

Delilah7 · 03/09/2018 19:30

@ttcat32 don't woman you'll start me off!!! Xx

@Ebonyx hello again darling 😍 if that's when you'd normally be due then yes, defo do as I suggested with a calendar xx

@delilah7 thanks for the response again! You’ve been really helpful already :) I have downloaded the app you suggested so just got to wait for my period to come and log it in there!

Delilah7 · 03/09/2018 19:33

@Ebonyx log any other symptoms too on there. Defo helps me :) x

Hi guys! Wow these threads fill up fast don't they?! Thanks Delilah7 for starting the new one :)
Had my smear today, thank god it's only every 3 years!! Had a chat with the nurse, but as we've not been trying for long it was just general chat.
Ebonyx, all I can say is, listen to these gals on here, they know their stuff! Picked up many tips since I came on board here :)
Good luck for the week to y'all! Xx

Delilah7 · 03/09/2018 19:36

@FivexFive hi lovely! hope it went ok and not to painful. I'm not 25 for another 2 years so dreading those :( xx

MrsR16 · 03/09/2018 19:38

@ttcat32 I like your thinking!! 😂

MrsR16 · 03/09/2018 19:39

@Delilah7 smears definitely don't hurt - just a bit uncomfortable for a few seconds! I can imagine if you've got an elusive cervix that it's a bit longer, but I was done and dusted within just a few minutes!

Delilah7 · 03/09/2018 19:39

@MrsR16 that's good although any inspections hurt my woo woo!! Hopefully after a baby it'll be easier 😂

Ebonyx · 03/09/2018 19:40

@FivexFive I agree with you there! I have been reading these threads for a while and everyone seemed lovely and very happy to help so I thought why not get involved! Oh wow I have another two years until I’m 25 too I hope it went okay Hun! Xx

FivexFive · 03/09/2018 20:21

Ebonyx Delilah7, it's fine really this was my 2nd one. Just feels a bit awkward but the nurse was chatty so not too bad!

Glad we all have somewhere to come and vent/ask questions/lift each other up, it's ace :)

Magpie1111 · 03/09/2018 20:22

Is anyone struggling with ttc with pcos?

Delilah7 · 03/09/2018 20:24

@FivexFive it's good isn't it :) x

Dimblebimble · 03/09/2018 20:31

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind if I join. TTC for 7 months now with no luck (maybe a cp last month, not sure). Having some blood tests and if they are clear maybe an ultrasound. Almost 29 and ttc first baby.

I’m going to be very rude and ask you a very personal to start! How much sex do you have throughout the month and specifically how many times around the fertile week? We only seem to manage it around 4 times in the fertile week atm feel like we should be tying harder 🙈

Ebonyx · 03/09/2018 20:38

Has anyone tried pre seed or conceive plus before? Heard a lot of amazing reviews xx

Dimblebimble · 03/09/2018 20:46

@ebony we’ve been using it but just as a lube. To actually aid fertility you have to insert it internally with an applicator and I gave up, I couldn’t work out how to do it Blush I also saw lots of positive reviews, if you’re worried you might not have enough/the right type of cm it can’t hurt to give it a try

stormtrooperjulian · 03/09/2018 20:49

@Ebonyx we’ve been using the conceive plus, it had good reviews so I thought we may as well try it

Delilah7 · 03/09/2018 20:55

@Dimblebimble welcome :) I try and do every other day in fertile week if not a few days in a row. You just have to make sure it's around the right time xx

Hi new ladies 👋

@Ebonyx, I've been using the conceive plus version for the last two cycles. Not pregnant yet, but certainly makes things more comfortable when your DTD-ing a lot! 😉

cupcakesandglitter · 03/09/2018 21:56

Hi all new ladies!! I love how busy these threads are - there's always so much to catch up, sorry if it seems like I'm not responding!!

@Magpie1111 I have PCOS, although this is cycle 2 (TTC for a couple of months last year unsuccessfully) - I've had a few miscarriages though, but unsure if it's related. I think I have endo too, but I've not been trying long enough to say whether it's going to get in the way or not!! Sorry if that's not very helpful Blush sorry if I've missed it, how long have you been TTC for? Xx

What's conceive plus? Is it lube? I spoke to DH about using the lube that helps his swimmers up, but we've agreed to try for a couple more months first xx

BambiOnIce80 · 03/09/2018 22:27

It is indeed fertility support lube @cupcakesandglitter 👍 I didn't even mention to DP that I was using it to start with - just popped it in whilst he was getting ready for bed and then he thought he was doing an amazing job at DTD 😂

cupcakesandglitter · 03/09/2018 22:34

Omg @BambiOnIce80 that's fantastic 😂😂😂 does it help? We've used lube a couple of times before, but we don't really need it Blush however with fertility lube I figure every little helps!!! X

BambiOnIce80 · 03/09/2018 22:46

Yeah @cupcakesandglitter, I think it's a 'every little helps' kind of thing. It's supposed to help the sperms motility for getting where it needs to go, which our normal lubrication apparently may not 😏
