@Crossfitgirl I did Yoga Yin for about a week and a half. It was a bit gentle for my taste so I ended up incorporating a lot of those principles into my normal daily practice. (Yoga with Adriene. Love that woman.)

I was religiously temping for a year before ttc, which made it a lot easier when I started. I loved it though, and I still do it now because it can give you an early warning of mc.

I hope no-one's head's too sore this morning! 😉

FlapJackered · 26/08/2018 07:38

@daisiesandpeonies - 😂 I am the same with DH just before af, the poor man can do nothing right! It sounds like your DH deserves it though, what was he thinking! 😂

@Crossfitgirl - don't apologise! I love your posts! They make such good reading!
I haven't been diagnosed with pcos but do wonder if I have it because of my long erratic cycles. Apparently exercise can help so I am going to test that theory this next cycle to try and shorten mine!

@Delilah7 - has AF turned up for you yet?
I am still waiting. It should arrive today although temp is still high so may not be until tomorrow. Of course it is giving me false hope that the bfn was too early as normally my temp drops on 12dpo and af arrives but there has been one cycle which temp dropped on 13dpo so it probably means nothing!

Delilah7 · 26/08/2018 07:45

@FlapJackered nope will be 4 weeks since MC on Tuesday, got no pains either... they've said however if it turns up later than 6 weeks go doctors especially if I've always been regular which I have. I really don't think I'm pregnant tbh I just think now it's waiting for AF. I feel my BFN was probably right!

shelly10 · 26/08/2018 08:34

Ladies, great idea on the mega thread- I've been reading and posting in each and confusing myself too!
Age 31
TTC #1
CD12 - (my fertile window starts today according to my Ovia app)

I had the implant removed mid-June, went on my honeymoon and then had my first AF mid-August, so technically I suppose this is actually cycle 1. Bought Clearblue OPKs yesterday for the first time so will use those from today too.

Fingers crossed for us all 🤞

ttcat32 · 26/08/2018 08:39

Morning ladies,

So I caved and am currently in the 3 minute wait ......

sunshine1987 · 26/08/2018 08:40

@MrsC87 the good thing is it makes you feel like you've done everything possible that month to conceive. AF is due next Saturday....this part is the worst x

RanchoRelaxo · 26/08/2018 08:40

Morning everyone!
CrossFitgirl I love the long posts! You're right it's lovely to see so many stories in one thread 😊 honestly I find yin yoga really boring, didn't really give it a chance though to be fair, can imagine it being quite relaxing if you got into it.
Kileah18 yea I agree on testing at least twice a day, with opks I usually find there's nothing then they start getting darker with the peak lasting about a day, but have had it before where the peak only lasted a few hours so easy to miss!

I am 9dpo today and still no AF, but am really trying not to get my hopes up, am sure it will be here by the end of the day, and if not maybe the vit c is just making my luteal phase longer! But really don't think I'm preggers

RanchoRelaxo · 26/08/2018 08:41

ttcat32 🤞🤞

sunshine1987 · 26/08/2018 08:47

Does anyone else feel stupidly guilty when they drink during the TWW? Spoke to some girls about it and they said "drink til it's pink" as otherwise it could be a long time trying and will add stress if you're changing everything for something that could take ages. But now I feel guilty for having a few gins last night anyway 🙈😂 I've turned into a tuna melt.....

Bettyhop · 26/08/2018 08:52

Ttcat32...nervously eating my porridge awaiting your next post🤞❤

ttcat32 · 26/08/2018 08:53

Well....

TTC first baby... mega thread!
Bettyhop · 26/08/2018 08:56

Yeyy! Congratulations to you! Fabulous news🎉🎉

shelly10 · 26/08/2018 08:57

@Crossfitgirl I've had some symptoms of PCOS in the past when I was younger before I went onto the implant and was really worried that once I came off it my periods would still be irregular. But, AF came back after 8 weeks and I do seem to be in line with what the app tells me (EWCM, etc) and honestly I really think taking pre-conception vitamins have helped that, so would really recommend giving them a go! X

shelly10 · 26/08/2018 08:58

@ttcat32 Definitely a faint second line there!!! Maybe give it another go tomorrow? Smile

RanchoRelaxo · 26/08/2018 09:00

Congratulations ttcat32 🎉🎉 that's amazing!! How many dpo are you?

I don't feel guilty really sunshine I just think the likelihood of me being pregnant is low, and I don't drink loads and loads. TTC is hard enough without going alcohol free aswell!

purplestar9 · 26/08/2018 09:07

@ChaosMoon I also love yoga with Adriene!

Wow! Congrats @ttcat32 fantastic news to wake up to!

So I'm lying in bed (should get up, have to leave the house in 25 mins!), with cramps going on. Feels like AF is on the way, but I'm sure this is 2 days early based on when I think I ovulated... I really hope it's not :( but it's definite cramping...

Crossfitgirl · 26/08/2018 09:12

@shelly10 glad to hear that, I have been regular since coming off the pill and had a positive OPK last month, I do get clear ovulating pain and sensitive nipples when I think I'm ovulating. I've just started taking boots conception support so will see if they help :-)
Were not far apart, I'm cd14 of a 26 day cycle, and just started the clear blue this month.

@sunshine1987 I do a bit. But I only have one or two when I do. Some of my friends know I'm ttc so I've told some of them I'm cutting down at certain times of month- it's taken the pressure off a bit, and also means they know not to pry too much if they know I may be pg but can't say anything yet.

@ttcat32 yaaay!! Congratulations!! What a lovely bank holiday surprise! So happy for you!!! Xxxxxx

@ttcat32 congratulations!!

sunshine1987 · 26/08/2018 09:27

@ttcat32 yay!!!! Congratulations 🎉

sunshine1987 · 26/08/2018 09:29

@RanchoRelaxo yeah that's what I'm thinking, if I don't allow myself a couple of drinks with friends I feel it'll be more stressful overall x

sunshine1987 · 26/08/2018 09:31

@Crossfitgirl yeah it's not really what people think as my girls will know the second that test changes lol, we're big over sharers but i guess it's more I'm trying to enjoy life as could be years of trying x

MrsC87 · 26/08/2018 09:39

Congratulations @ttcat32
What lovely news to wake up to!! Smile

RMarieClaire · 26/08/2018 09:42

Hi ladies. Would love to join you! Feel like all my ttc friends are pregnant or have just had their first child, and all my other friends are single. Always the way...

Age 31
TTC since May - had implant taken out after almost 6 years back to back
Cycle 4
Think I ovulated for first time last month but not sure
Very short periods - around 36 hours - so suspect I've some way to go before we conceive

MrsC87 · 26/08/2018 09:45

@purplestar9 exactly. Last cycle, our first month of ttc we didn't dtd enough so like you say this month we will do as much dtd to cover ovulation.

Can I ask a question to everyone? I know it is advised to be at a healthy weight /BMI to increase fertility, but when I check my BMI and what I should be, realistically I will never be that weight. Should I worry? I've cut down on fatty foods likes chocolate (not completely lol!!) and alcohol and upped my fruit and veg but just wondered if anyone like me worries about their weight and ttc?

Hope you ladies all have a good bank holiday Smile

NeverStopExploring · 26/08/2018 09:57

@MrsC87 i don’t think you should worry. Naturally they want everyone to be at peak health for your body to cope with changes but it sounds like your doing the right thing with reducing the fatty foods. I’m thinking of starting running or swimming to try improve my health as I have switched the chocolate and fatty foods for fruit and veg too. I found speaking to my contraception nurse was really helpful. She gave me loads of advice on foods to avoid and incorporate in my diet and tips on excercise in later pregnancy
