@Crossfitgirl big hugs to you. My DH is exactly the same. As @cupcakesandglitter they were taught in school that unprotected sex = baby if only it was that easy!!!
DH & I had a big argument at the end of FW this cycle and it was just he didn't understand. I know some men are put off and put under pressure but DH said he appreciates just knowing so he knows exactly why I'm jumping on him.
I do envy those couples who have a more active sex life naturally... it sounds like it's half the battle xx

I’ve been reading through your stories and it’s nice to see other people going through the same things! Sorry to hear some people are having a rough time, everyone has such different journeys but it’s so reassuring to see lots of the same emotions that I’m experiencing!

I’m currently in the 2ww zone and dying to poas. I don’t know if this is just first cycle nerves or if I’m going to become a poas addict! I’ve been using opks since coming off the mirena coil in July as no AF yet but got a positive opk last Friday and hoping for a BFP.

Does the wait get any easier as you go along? If it’s like this every month I think I’ll drive myself (and DH) crazy 😂

@TBay I’ve been wondering the same thing! I’m also on cycle 1. Am hoping it does get easier, the past few days have really dragged and I still have a week to wait before I can test.

Welcome @TBay wish you luck with your poas, it is quite addictive, but if I have one piece of advice, it's to not do it too soon no matter how much you want to, wait until AF is late (or when you think she's late as you've not had one yet), it could save you heartache and dolla! I'm also in the 2ww, testing next Saturday (only 2 days early as I'm going to a wedding, would never normally)

stormtrooperjulian I’ve had to keep myself busy with shopping and housework to stop myself from thinking about it- it doesn’t help that I’m a teacher so not at work, hopefully I’ll have too much else to worry about as of next week 🙈

BabySquid Glad I’m not alone! Going by my OPK and previous cycles I’m going to test on the 9th as that will be over 2 weeks. Just have to keep busy until then! fingers crossed for you xx

I’ve read through the whole thread and keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!
Stopped taking Microgynon after 8 years at the beginning of August but didn’t have a period since which is not unusual for me as didn’t always get them on my break when I was taking it! (I did check I wasn’t pregnant then!!)
No idea when I ovulated.

AF due 5th September - I too am resisting the urge to POAS!
I noticed quite a few of you guys are due AF on 5th/6th September - are we all holding out for as long as possible!? I’m symptom spotting like crazy!

Unfortunately not ladies :( he had a heart monitor on the weekend and they said with the spikes they saw he's lucky he is here still right now. They have a holiday next Sunday and can't go. I'm so heartbroken right now. I'm a daddy's girl x

So much to keep up on this thread when I've just been off phone for a day or two! My hopeful BFP/AF is due on Sunday and I got a spot when I wiped today. Either it's IB or.... 😭
