I already have the most wonderful ds who is 3!

@starsandstuff id just offer to go up to the bar n get a coke or sumthin lie in say uve got vodka n coke? Or say uve got a bug lol thats what i do

@Wowthisisreal I'd have so much less will power if I actually had tests in the house! Your situation sounds tricky. I suppose you 'should' treat it like it's a long cycle and not test til the 23rd - but that's easier advice to give than to follow!

@thisisouryrfx18 I feel like I shouldn't test til af is due (next wed) - af turning up is cheaper and often more certain than a pregnancy test! but I really struggle with not early testing. In some ways it gives you something to do during the 2ww, which is good, but because most of the time it doesn't actually tell you anything certain it drives me a bit loopy.

It's so unfair that we can't just magically choose when we get pregnant!

@FlyingDandelion i know we wish eh? I know the early testing is just a taunt really but after nearly3 yrs ive lost ALL patience

@FlyingDandelionSeed I know I know 😫 DH and I agreed this morning we would maybe take one on Saturday. We have a whole day together and I bought an early detection test which apparently works 5 days early? It gives me a target to get to and also I can see how I feel then and maybe hold out till the Weds!

I'm usually like clockwork so this has thrown me a little. We also DTD regularly based on it being 28 weeks and just the one time on the OD if it's 34 so who knows! My gut says if I'm on a 5 week then it's probably not going to happen this month but only time will tell 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Wowthisisreal I usually get my AF on cd27 (making that 27th day cd1) and never gone over 29. Had it arrive up to 4 days early before now but never past 29

So im going out with work tonight. I've been having loads of symptoms; discharge, boobs feeling like they did when I was breastfeeding, really hungry ALL THE TIME, extream fatigue (bed at 8pm a few nights this week!). It's prob all in my head though as I'm only 6-7 days po; although I'm not totally sure exactly! My question is; can I do a frer at this stage?? I want to know if I can drink tonight (it will look very suspicious if I don't!) Help!

I asked that on another thread (for the same reason, going out next week and will be 9dpo) and they said 9dpo could do a FRER but a BFN could still turn into a BFB a few days later! But they also said alcohol doesn't have an effect until 2 weeks after implantation so you should be ok either way. Sorry if I've got that wrong...

So i think 6-7dpo may still be a bit too early?

I think 7dpo is a bit early,as I understand it implantation doesn't happen until around then so a pregnancy test wouldn't detect anything. Could you maybe just take it easy on the drinks, or even order separately and get mocktails?

OMG so I'm actually shaking as a write this. I just took a test and it's a BFP?!?!?!!!

It's a Clear Blue Early digital one. I'm in shock. I'm on CD 30 and I used my FMU. AF could be 4 days late or 4 days early.

@Prembabymum that's what I thought!! DH not convinced and started googling the chances of getting one. He's ecstatic. I'm slightly freaking out. In a good way!!! But still freaking out. Just despatched DH to buy loads more tests! Can I test in the same FMU or should I try again later!?

When I got pregnant the first time round I tested every morning for 3-4 days because I couldn't believe it. Then after that the fact that af didn't turn up was enough...

Exciting times for you. Enjoy it.

@FlyingDandelionSeed so I just tried 4 different tests and they are all BFP!

I MUST be pregnant; was holding dh's cousin's tiny baby and when she cried I swear I had a let-down!! It was weird!!

I'm out this month... again. AF turned up today.

On the plus side, it would seem the weird cycles I've been having might just have stabilised as this was perfrctly 27 days like i was used to.

@MaisyPops sorry af is soo depressing like u said the only upside is a more 'normal' cycle if such a thing exists!

Late to the party but can I join you ladies? First cycle actively trying since a miscarriage in Feb.

AF due this weekend but I am slowly convincing myself that all the symptoms are the same as last time...

Did a Clear Blue early test this morning but no line...but last time I tested pre AF and nothing showed up. Have got some PRER on the way from Amazon.

The stupid thing is that my rational head would prefer not to get pregnant this month due to an event in a week or so's time. But the rest of me REALLY wants it...!

Driving myself mad thinking about it!
