Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

16dpo now, daren’t test again. Was convinced af was here this morning - felt hot and had those horrible diarrhoea type cramps (lovely!), but still no bleeding and it’s eased a bit now. Temps dropped, but not below the cover line. My normally tiny boobs feel like massive pannacottas. Had a glass of wine last night (because why not, negative tests, feeling sorry for myself) and couldn’t even get through half of it. Everything tastes minty or coppery or like bins. I’m really fucked off with all this now (if you couldn’t tell..)

I'm 9dpo according to Flo, I've got a FRER upstairs and I'm trying to hold off for a few days at least but it's so hard!

I've had lower back pain the last 2 nights aswell, have had to come sleep on the sofa from 4am ish onwards but I thought that was the horrid bed rather than anything.
Funny how you can't help but over analyse!

I'm still getting my head around the fact that I'm trying to get pregnant rather than trying to NOT get pregnant 😆

I'm on a spa weekend next weekend and there will be a hot tub and I'm concerned about using it....should I maybe do a test in Friday morning before I go? I'll be about 10 dpo by then 🤔

Af was dues yesterday got some really light blood when wiping so know my luck af is prob coming 😞 onto month 13 x

@doglady28 it's weird isn't it! After 10 years of trying to avoid it, now I'm desperate to get pregnant!

I've also got bad back ache and I have a small curvature to my spine which my midwife friend of mine said to me once may cause back pain during birth....trying not to read into it too much! I'm only about 5dpo!

@Doglady28 Yes, I'd test early, ideally don't want to be raising your core body temp too much if you do have a bean growing 😊

Was so so convinced this was it. This marks the end of a year trying now. It’s never going to happen is it.

@spottyyellowdress my heart aches for you, if it’s any consolation my friend tried for 14 months and she recently conceived! Take it easy and look after yourself. Xx

Can someone talk me through cheap ovulation tests and also cm phases.
I'm trying to figure out my cycle as once I have an idea I won't bother testing for it, I'll just add it to an app and roll with it.
Last month I was a few days late off my regular 24 days and I realised that maybe being able to gauge ovulation might mean I will have a better idea if I'm late as isn't it a bit more rigid the amount of days after ov?
Ive got some cheapies and have been trying to check each day at the same time. No line so far, except yesterday was a pale line, def not as strong as the control line. Instructions say this doesn't signify anything.
I tend to be able to spot ewcm but what tends to be the stages? What comes first after af and what comes up until ewcm. Thinking if I can spot those changes I'll know when to expect things.

Typically it's around ov time based on normal cycle length and dh has been away for the weekend. Dtd on Wednesday and Thurs and will do tonight too so we've only missed 2 days but it feels like that means it's not possible this month (even though my head is reminding me that the little swimmers can survive for like a week so we haven't missed it at all)

So sorry @spottyyellowdress big hugs 💐 DS took 18 months which looking back now wasn't that long a time. But felt like forever. I don't know if there was anything specifically different as we had no assistance but I was completely unaware I might be pg because we had dtd ONCE that month at CD7 which in my mind was too early to conceive but I must've ovulated a few days later and it caught.. 🤞it will happen so soon for you!!

@Frizzy1986 normally before ovulation it goes creamy then ewcm then watery then creamy then nothing then creamy then af. Sometimes I spot mix with creamy pre af xx

I've been having more lower back ache today but I have been gardening so that could be it but it's been on and off for a few days now. Trying with all my might not go Google back pain as pregnancy symptom ...

@Fae1989 I couldn't clearly see the line on my phone but it looks like a very light pink line when I open it on the tablet? Do you think there's colour to it? 🤞 it is good news we need some on the threads. What dpo are you?

@Owlpatrol how exactly would you describe the back pain? I have been at physio for 2 weeks with tense neck and shoulder pain (any wonder why that is?! 😂) The pain I got last night was a very specific sharp jab for ten mins on left lower back. I've had similar pain to it when conceived DS but it's hard to remember 6 years ago 😣

@Angelmiracle hi, thank you for your reply. I’m 25dpo, due on Tuesday. My partner says he can’t see anything now. I was a Morrison’s test. I’m thinking now that it’s not a line :( xx
