Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

@spottyyellowdress I'm so sorry πŸ˜” this month has been such a head wrecker. I'm holding onto our cycles settling down as a positive omen for us next month xxx

Spottyyellowdress · 08/06/2018 15:57

@lp17 it really has. Just done a frer and it’s stark white so that confirms it. Would just like a proper af now to start again! How are you.

SplishSplashy · 08/06/2018 16:22

Hi all, new to the thread, ttc #2, 1st month trying, bfp due 18th June but I have pcos so not getting my hopes up Smile

BluBambu · 08/06/2018 17:39

Hiya can I jump on please.
Ttc baby 2
Cd 17
Cycle 1
Took 15 months for our first though so not sure how long this will take.
Anyone else on baby number 2 after taking a while first time round?

Spottyyellowdress · 08/06/2018 17:39

Welcome @splishSplashy! 🀞 for you.

SplishSplashy · 08/06/2018 18:07

@BluBambu I'm in similar position to you. Took forever ttc with dc1. We were about to start ivf but luckily it wasn't needed. I found it very emotionally draining going through the disappointment cycle each month, I'm taking a scientific approach this time in an effort to make every month count!

Spottyyellowdress · 08/06/2018 18:24

And @blubambu!

BluBambu · 08/06/2018 18:36

Thank you for the welcome :)
How long had you been trying if you don't mind me asking splishsplashy? We had begun testing and I had a scan and was due a laparoscopy but then fell pregnant before I had it. I think it helped we just relaxed as we knew we were getting tests and would hopefully get sorted. Can't help obsessing over it on this first cycle though!

DartmoorDoughnut · 08/06/2018 18:57

Pretty sure I’m out, have had -ve FRER, not sure if that’s just due to hydration but managed to get a sliver of a line on a Lloyd’s own test this afternoon but I’m just awaiting the arrival of AF realistically Sad

clairehr · 08/06/2018 20:32

@spottyyellowdress I'm so sorry to hear this! Sending you lots of positive vibes.

Not feeling particularly hopeful with this BFP. Sore boobs have now all but disappeared and got a slightly lighter line this morning than last night. Mirrors everything that happened with my first MC. Trying to keep my fingers crossed this one sticks!!

Angelmiracle · 08/06/2018 21:59

Hi @blubambu
Im ttc #2
DS took 18months which felt like forever at the time!
We haven't used anything since we had him. Tried to stay 'relaxed' hoping it would happen without any conscious effort but nothing.
Got referred last year so just started with gyanecologist. Had ultrasound and HSG - all normal he thinks Im ovulating. Issue maybe dh but who knows.
Peaked on CB opk so 4/5dpo now.
Going to get progesterone checked on Mon to confirm I ovulated πŸ˜₯

Angelmiracle · 08/06/2018 22:01

@clairehr Good luck to you 🀞

Ksjourney · 08/06/2018 22:03

@JustLikeTheySaid your comment made me laugh! Takes some of the fun out of it doesn't it

@Spottyyellowdress so sorry to hear this... πŸ’

goneswimming · 08/06/2018 22:07

I had some pink cm when I wiped after the loo earlier this evening...no cramps at all after having several evenings aching earlier this week, but as af is usually due tomorrow for me I think this probably means I'm out. 😒 why is getting pregnant so hard?

BluBambu · 08/06/2018 22:15

Hi @Angelmiracle
It's so hard isn't it? How long have you been trying this time? I have a DS too and 15 months felt like a lifetime! I didn't go back on the pill just used condoms until we decided to start trying again so hoping that will help as there's "nothing in my system" not sure if that is even a thing though.
I hope you manage to get some answers from the gynaecologist, has DH had a sperm test?

SplishSplashy · 08/06/2018 22:28

@BluBambu about 18 months but after getting frustrated we paid for some tests, i discovered my pcos and dh's results weren't great. Consultant tomd us the odds weren't in our favour. I'm worried now that 6 yrs has passed since then, I'll have even fewer eggs now I'm mid 30s. I also know I cant ttc for a long time as it's not good for my mental health. So this time I'm doing opks, bbt, cm monitoring, and I've read about successes with turkey baster method so that's been thrown into the mix! Blush

Angelmiracle · 08/06/2018 23:00

@Blubambu- They were sending letters to an old address for DH so fertility clinic discharged him! I was so annoyed only found out today. Consultant has to do another referral now.
We havent had any contraception in 8 years but since we moved house last year we've been extra trying!

@Splishysp It has given me depression for sure - I didn't know If It was work or this but def think its this!!
I will try bbt next also if no bfp πŸ˜₯ I read about the turkey baster not sure if I could do it right though πŸ˜‚

Angelmiracle · 08/06/2018 23:03

@Splishsplashy comment above ^ phone keeps autoreplacing your username πŸ˜‚

BluBambu · 08/06/2018 23:03

@SplishSplashy Ooh that sounds interesting, I would be willing to try anything so can't blame you. I know what you mean about the mental health side of things it can have a massive impact.
Good luck to everyone trying this month!

Owlpatrol · 08/06/2018 23:04

@clairehr oh no sending lots of baby dust!

BluBambu · 08/06/2018 23:05

@Angelmiracle omg that's so frustrating! The waiting for tests feels so long as it is without that added on! fingers crossed they are quick this time

Spottyyellowdress · 09/06/2018 07:12

@clairehr I really hope it sticks...how are you this morning?

Spottyyellowdress · 09/06/2018 07:35

And @dartmoordoughnut 🀞🀞🀞 for you too... in a v similar position! Still no af, spotting seems to have stopped now, negative tests yesterday but there’s now a pink line on the frer I did last night...now I know it’s way out the time limit and doesn’t count but still never ever seen lines on anything before! The waiting for one or the other is killing me!

HidCat · 09/06/2018 07:38

@Spottyyellowdress eek fingers crossed for the next test!

Spottyyellowdress · 09/06/2018 08:02

@hidcat nothing on a test this morning though! 15dpo now, surely it should show on a less sensitive test by now if I had a positive frer Tuesday?! Argh just need to stop obsessing πŸ˜‚
