Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

Hi everyone

Can I join? TTC for the first time - came off the pill in April but properly tried for the first time last month. I have PCOS so was worried about my cycle coming back to normal but it seems to be ok so far. Anticipating the PCOS may make things happen a bit slower so trying to be quite relaxed about it but already becoming obsessed!

Due to ovulate around the 13th, fx for a BFP this month!!

HidCat · 01/06/2018 20:24

@jeanzbeanz congratulations! That's a fantastic line!

@TheOneWithTheBaby sounds like had a very quick surge. I had the same last cycle. It's no wonder so many people miss them!

@KnitKitty keeping everything crossed for good progression for you.

@sailorcherrie you're still early for testing so don't lose faith. You're not out til AF turns up.

KnitKitty · 01/06/2018 20:57

sailorcherrie I'm just repeating what others have said... It's still early days, don't lose hope completely!!

Hidcat Thank you, will let you know.

Zeebsw Good luck with TTC. You can have all the best intentions in the world of staying calm and no matter how many rational thoughts of expecting it to take a few months you have, you will still become an obsessed crazy women as soon as you start TTC, it's just how it goes. Hope the PCOS doesn't cause you too many problems.

Murderino · 02/06/2018 07:29

@sailorcherrie keep the faith! We all have our fx!

Welcome @Zeebsw hope it's plain sailing for you and the obsession is par for the course- I'm probably the most laid back person going but this has changed me. Bloody hormones.

Can ask those with dc how long did it take first time to ttc?

KnitKitty · 02/06/2018 07:49

Took another test this morning and it's no darker than my first one so I think AF will be along in the next few days.

DartmoorDoughnut · 02/06/2018 07:55

@KnitKitty same here Sad Wine

KnitKitty · 02/06/2018 07:57

DartmoorDoughnut Hugs xxx

KnitKitty · 02/06/2018 07:59

Yours was only yesterday though, wasn't it? It's still early days for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

DartmoorDoughnut · 02/06/2018 08:18

@Murderino over 3 years for my first, 3 months for my second Flowers

@KnitKitty yep but still I’m not feeling very positive, tried an FRER this morning and got a tiny sliver of a line but nothing much there

RanchoRelaxo · 02/06/2018 08:45

Period arrived yesterday, but my next one is due at the end of the month so technically still on the June bus,
Fingers crossed for you @knitkitty and @dartmoordoughnut

HidCat · 02/06/2018 09:03

@DartmoorDoughnut and @KnitKitty I'm keeping everything crossed for you both

KnitKitty · 02/06/2018 09:10

Thank you RanchoRelaxo and HidCat.

Hope this is your month Rancho.

Where are you up to with your cycle now HidCat?

FrowningFlamingo · 02/06/2018 09:11

So... this happened!! Cycle 8. I was so convinced it wouldn't happen this month. Really felt pre menstrual.
Very excited. Keeping my fingers crossed for you all too :)

Toot toot! June Bus!
KnitKitty · 02/06/2018 09:22

Congrats FrowningFlamingo!!! :)

HidCat · 02/06/2018 09:24

@FrowningFlamingo yey! Congratulations!

@KnitKitty I'm 10dpo now. Had a bfn this morning but think I'll try to resist the testing urge for a couple of days. Knowing that it would most likely be negative seems to have been reassuring but now I'm reaching the possibility of a faint positive and spotting yesterday I'm more nervous to test.

DaisyMay25 · 02/06/2018 09:26

Congrats @FrowningFlamingo

I'm current into my 10th cycle but 9th month (it's weird how that works)
I'm fed up! Just counting down until September now when the doctors said they'll refer us for tests. We've booked a holiday for then though so we can relax before it all

Zeebsw · 02/06/2018 09:28

Congratulations @frowningflamingo

Thanks for the welcome guys! Fingers crossed for everyone this month!

Babybeany · 02/06/2018 09:34

@frowningflamingo that’s lovely news! I’ll miss seeing your name pop up on my feed x

jaykaydee · 02/06/2018 09:35

@frowningflamingo Congratulations!

@Rancho I got AF this morning too but sticking around for same reason, I should get a second june chance right at the end of the month. I think DH was almost more disappointed than me this time, I think he'd been taking my symptom spotting too seriously and convinced himself.

@muderino It took us 3 cycles for Dd, but we're just on to cycle 4 trying for #2. I always suspected this time round it might take longer as timing DTD was easier when we didn't have to take into account DD sleep schedules. And this time round DH job takes him away occasionally which doesn't always help. If I O late this month then we've had it for that reason.

FrowningFlamingo · 02/06/2018 09:38

Thanks everyone :)

DaisyMay I had really started to loose hope and get fed up this month. Was going to book a drs appt next week. And it's finally happened. Don't give up!

FrowningFlamingo · 02/06/2018 09:40

Aww thanks babybeany - I'm hoping to stick around as a loiterer to check how everyone I've come to 'know' is getting on!

buntingandstarcharts · 02/06/2018 09:44

@FrowningFlamingo I'm curious to know how much likeAF and PMS did it feel like? Xxxx

NoseringGirl · 02/06/2018 10:58

Congratulations to all the BFPs!
I got a notification from my Ava bracelet that my fertile window has been moved and starts today (still no idea how it predicts it but it's so exciting). DH is out of the country Angry he's due back tomorrow night though and has been prewarned Grin

FrowningFlamingo · 02/06/2018 11:47

buntingandstarcharts absolutely 100% entirely the same. I was hungry and irrationally grumpy. Only difference is that my pre period acne isn't as bad but I've changed my skin care regime so thought it was that.
It's still very early - might not be a sticky one of course.

buntingandstarcharts · 02/06/2018 12:30

@FrowningFlamingo thanks for that insider info. I just wanna be preg! I'm 8po and have period pains and giant sore boobs but I just have a feeling AF is coming. How many DPO did you get your positive and did you do anything differently this month? X
