Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

Fantastic news ronnie how long have you been trying?

HidCat · 31/05/2018 06:47

@ronniemipperton definitely a line - congratulations!

Murderino · 31/05/2018 06:59

@ronniemipperton that's a line alright! Not surprised you can't sleep - congrats!

ronniemipperton · 31/05/2018 06:59

Thank you!

@AJstylesHair about three years in total but had hypothalamic amenorrhea (basically wasn’t ovulating) until around September last year - so about 7 or 8 tracked cycles.

AJstylesHair · 31/05/2018 07:01

So happy for you! Hopefully we will all get there by the end of the year then I swear I won't have sex again

ronniemipperton · 31/05/2018 07:17

Keeping fingers crossed for everyone!

DartmoorDoughnut · 31/05/2018 07:37

@ronniemipperton congratulations Grin

Babybeany · 31/05/2018 07:44

Congratulations @ ronniemipperton it’s nice to see a name I recognise with a bfp!

I was going to stay away from symptom spotting this month but got my first static smiley on Tuesday and yesterday, so here I am! My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive for 10 months now since a mmc last August. I am due AF on my birthday 10th June so I’m hoping for a lovely birthday present!! Used preseed this month. Hopefully assisted boyfriends swimmers! Anyone else tried it before? X

Babybeany · 31/05/2018 07:45

@ronniemipperton last message πŸ‘xx

JustLikeTheySaid · 31/05/2018 08:12

Still low on the opk. Now CD12. Had the peak on day 18 last month so maybe it's just going to be a late one. Feel worried. Hate all this obsession over my body, makes me feel cringey and hideous. Triggering quite a lot of my previous abuse/eating disorder issues. Is this happening for anyone else?

Spottyyellowdress · 31/05/2018 08:30

@ronniemipperton massive congratulations!

FingersXssd83 · 31/05/2018 08:30

AF arrived for me this morning so jumping on.

TTC #1
Age 34 (35 soon)
Cycle 13 😞

We've been referred to a fertility clinic and have my tests later this month. No issues identified after initial bloods and SA with GP so trying to stay optimistic.

Good luck everyone xxx

TheMagicTorch · 31/05/2018 09:00

@ronniemipperton yay congratulations! Xx

xLauraa · 31/05/2018 09:19

@LookingAtTheStars89 How's things πŸ’•

samanthajonespr · 31/05/2018 09:44

BFN today at 9dpo. Trying to stay hopeful and telling myself to test in a few days Sad

Congrats on the bfps ladies

KnitKitty · 31/05/2018 09:47

Congratulations nicnacnew and ronniemipperton :)

HidCat · 31/05/2018 09:48

@JustLikeTheySaid I can't speak from an eating disorder perspective but it does make you think about your body a lot so I can imagine that's not easy to deal with. I hope you manage to work through it.

@FingersXssd83 welcome to the group!

Wishful30 · 31/05/2018 09:59

@FingersXssd83

Welcome!
I'm 35. TTC #1
Been trying for 11months so far.
Had all my tests. I have a low egg count and low hormones (within normal limits) to mature the eggs. DH has low volume, but no sperm or count issues.
Found out I have a narrow cervix.
All in all, not really any reason why we can't get pregnant.

It's all very daunting, stressful and emotional but keep positive!

We are on route to IVF. Given our results we have opted for IUI to start. I will be having the first one in a couple of weeks.
Sadly the NHS wanted us to carry on regardless, so we had to go private and pay for all the tests. So so glad we did. The doc advised to start fertility treatment even tho all looks ok, simply because I already have a low egg count and I'm 35. In theory it should hurry things along.

Wishing you all the best with the tests. Fingers crossed you'll have a bfp before you know it! 🀞🏻

LP17 · 31/05/2018 10:30

Congratulations to the BFPs!

I'm 8DPO today and having a fair bit of creamy CM which (I think) is unusual for me. Boobs usually start hurting around the sides & underneath like clockwork at 7 DPO but all I can feel is a bit of pain "behind" my nipples?! Not reading into it, didn't use OPKs this month, not testing until I've missed AF on 6th June. Significantly lower stress levels this month about everything so yay for that!

starsandstuff · 31/05/2018 10:45

AF arrived with a vengeance this morning so I'm jumping on.

Age 41
TTC #1
Cycle #2

Last chance to get pregnant at 41 (I'm 42 in June) and already worried that I've missed the fertility boat. Sort of wish I hadn't opened myself up to the hope and disappointment - only on cycle 2 and I was a bit obsessed last month. Massive hugs to all you ladies who have been trying for a long time. I'm not sure I'd be strong enough to cope with that. xx

buntingandstarcharts · 31/05/2018 11:16

@FingersXssd83 13th months, stay strong! You poor thing, 8 months feels like years I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to be over a year of trying. I just don't understand why the bloody sperm aren't doing their frigging job!! Xxx

Spottyyellowdress · 31/05/2018 11:53

@lp17 I’m in exactly the same position this month - normally get really sore boobs straight after ovulation but just have almost a prickly feeling right behind my nipples. 🀞it’s a good sign for us!

Alex2790 · 31/05/2018 14:00

@ronniemipperton so do you have any synptoms yet x

buntingandstarcharts · 31/05/2018 14:35

@Spottyyellowdress is that a thing... not to get sore boobs when you usually might before AF? I'm wondering because I'm in a similar position? How many DPO are you? In my head surely the progesterone that gives you sore boobs before period would rise in the same way if you're pregnant therefore giving the same symptoms whether pregnancy or not, but maybe I'm wrong. Hanging on your every word here...!

Spottyyellowdress · 31/05/2018 14:39

@buntingandstarcharts Haha, I have no idea...to be fair, you can google every symptom under the sun and find something online that will tell you you’re def pregnant!
Im thinking of it assomething that’s not usual for me...so if every other cycle has been a bfn so far then maybe if something feels different, it might be because something different is going on?

If only we could wait until we’ve missed a period and not have any of these mind games!πŸ˜‚
