I watched Richie Rich at the weekend and had a cry at the end because he had friends now. Blush Not even sodding baby related

LexieJean · 25/04/2018 06:47

Then go for the gadget @pinkemi! Whatever helps? I mean I’ve been throwing money at supplements and acupuncture and this might help you. Sorry you’re feeling so down 💐

@wonky sure! @owl and I could do a whole package thing in yams. Hell lets grow the buggers too!

It’s so crap @looking I never used to be this blubbering mess sensitive

JaggyJobby · 25/04/2018 08:03

Dh wanted to watch that new Australian Netflix show (think its called the Letdown), watched a couple episodes. Cue waking up at 3:30 in the morning wide awake thinking about what it must be like to be a mum for over an hour 😭

Miserablemouse · 25/04/2018 08:48

Yep. There’s a sainsburys opposite my work and the baby clothes are right near the fresh fruit so I always end up looking at them and feeling sad.

bubblegum I did the same yesterday. Can’t buy clothes because I’ve put weight on but I can definitely still credit card shit loads of skincare and make up. Skincare always fits. Maybe yam skincare is the way to go Lexie and owl?

Think I might have felt ovulation yesterday. Never normally happens but it was like a sharp stab/pop feeling? CD20 which would make sense as cycles finally seem to be settling down at around 34 days.

LexieJean · 25/04/2018 09:07

@bubble and @miserable I went with shoes to cheer me up. Got them home and think they’re too small 🤦‍♀️

Good call on yam skincare @miserable we can add that to the business plan

Bubblegum89 · 25/04/2018 09:15

Lexie miserablemouse I went with both shoes and make up lol bit of Mac and two pairs of Adidas trainers to give the illusion I am in any way athletic. I justified it by a) using my 20% student discount and b) buying from the kids section which is half the price of the adult section (my feet are only a size 3). I’d rather be buying baby-related items but it doesn’t look like that will be an option for a while. Thank god for retail therapy at least.

Pinkemi · 25/04/2018 09:18

@lexiejean... I hear you on the accupuncture etc! I currently am throwing money at reflexology, accupunture and vitamins every month. Although I have cut down considerably on the vitamins because they were getting stupid expensive. I dunno.. I'll have a think about it.

SparkwoodAnd21 · 25/04/2018 09:53

I am on the bus on my way to my HyCoSy appointment. Wish me luck Yammers......

Although I just saw two magpies so that means it’s not going to hurt and I’ll totes get pregnant right away.

Bubblegum89 · 25/04/2018 10:16

Good luck sparkwood you’ll be fine, the hycosy really isn’t that bad at all

Paranormalbouquet · 25/04/2018 10:47

Good luck SparkwoodAnd21, hope all goes well today.

I’m still basically in shock, still feeling mostly fine. Have taken a few tests and all are still positive but with my last MMC I had really high hcg but still miscarried so not sure it means a lot. Booking a scan for just under 7 weeks and EPU have offered me one at around 9 weeks if I get that far.

Miserablemouse · 25/04/2018 10:47

Good luck spark! Love spotting a magpie. Always holding out for 3 or 4 as some kind of weird sex indicator for the foetus I don't have Hmm

Miserablemouse · 25/04/2018 10:49

Oh cross post - Para not surprised you're in shock! Think an early scan sounds a good idea if it will help with the anxiety. You must be so nervous - fingers and toes crossed this is your take home baby Flowers

Paranormalbouquet · 25/04/2018 11:09

I don’t know if anything will help with the anxiety but I’m taking it a day at a time at the moment. I can only wait and see what happens I suppose.

Hope everyone has enjoyed their shopping sprees! I’m in need of footwear and like Bubble have child sized feet. I want a new pair of sandals and some light coloured work shoes. That won’t cause me blisters (that’s the hard part!).

SparkwoodAnd21 · 25/04/2018 11:36

“You’re not very tall but you have a really long vagina”. Grin

Apparently my one remaining tube (I had an ectopic four years ago) is working well. I’m probably going to ovulate on Friday and there are two follicles ready to go. She told me to cancel my next appointment at the clinic because she told me everything they would tell me at that appointment. Phew! I need a gin.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 25/04/2018 12:28

@SparkwoodAnd21. A long vagina?! Grin Ha ha! What did you say "Er thanks?"

Si1ver · 25/04/2018 12:45

@SparkwoodAnd21 😆 a gynocologist once told me I had a lovely pink cervix. Um thanks I think.

Paranormalbouquet · 25/04/2018 12:46

@SparkwoodAnd21 I’ve had many people amazed that they can barely find my cervix and discuss it’s appearance in great detail (looks like a donut with 2 big bites taken out of it). I’m never sure what I’m meant to say, I’m don’t really care what it looks like!

WonkyDonk87 · 25/04/2018 13:42

What a lovely er.... compliment? Ha ha
I do find it a bit weird when they tell us something so intimate. As they clearly know we're going to run home and get shagging 🙈😂

Bubblegum89 · 25/04/2018 14:11

Haha sparkwood at my last appointment, I got told I had a beautiful cavity and I was just like erm, thank you..? Glad it went okay!

SparkwoodAnd21 · 25/04/2018 14:41

It was a bit weird, but quite interesting. She was good, very reassuring and nice. The first thing I thought of was all of you and the comments you’ve had before!

Justwaitingforaline · 25/04/2018 17:04

Wish me luck, yammers. We have an appointment at the Drs tomorrow morning to discuss the results of DHs SA analysis. They came back 4 weeks ago but they wouldn’t give them over the phone and the soonest apt was tomorrow Hmm I’m feeling all kind of nervous and he is adamant it will be bad news. We don’t qualify for any financial help so it will be the end of the road for now if it is a bad result.

MichaelKnightsCar · 25/04/2018 17:22

Good luck @Justwaitingforaline I hope it goes well.
My husband is going to submit his second SA sample tomorrow. They wouldn't tell us the results of his first test so we think it can't have been good.
We're making light of it ("have you been to the Drs and got your jizz pot yet?") but the possibility of bad news is still there hovering unsaid.

I really hope it's good news for you.
Thanks

LookingAtTheStars89 · 25/04/2018 17:39

I decided to 're follow some people that I had unfollowed and within minutes I got baby bombed!! Seriously!? Angry

@MichaelKnightsCar. Why wouldn't they tell you?? My DH's morphology was bad and they told us it was "abmormal" and we had to book an appointment with his GP.

FairyAnn · 25/04/2018 17:58

So we're on to our next step Yammers, I've got to have a hycosy. Sounds thoroughly unpleasant 😞
