2dpo & staring down another abyss of symptom analysing, early test resisting, date calculating, FW debriefing crazy brain.

Anyone care to ride it out together? Welcome spotters and distractors alike x

@DBoo Thank you, Do you think so?? I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much at the moment but doubt I'll be able to sleep tonight as I'll be waiting for tomorrow's test :)Flowers

DBoo · 17/04/2018 20:45

The first pic in particular it looks very blue and clear. I have heard they can be bad for false positives so dont want to get your hopes up but it looks good to me.

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 17/04/2018 20:47

@DBoo thanks for taking a peek for me, trying to keep an open mind at the mo as I've heard similar things hence the switch to FRER tomorrow. AF isn't due til Monday so I have a bit of a wait yet. I'm going to try to be cautiously optimistic, will keep you updated Smile

DBoo · 17/04/2018 21:09

Will keep my fingers crossed for in the morning.

sprinkleofsunshine · 17/04/2018 21:37

@SunshineSparklesSmiles I can see a line too so hope it's there for you tomorrow!

Until I started reading on here I never knew tests had evap lines, are these common & are there any brands that are particularly bad for them? I've just bought some Tesco cheapies when I was food shopping to test next week with.

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 17/04/2018 21:46

@sprinkleofsunshine thank you Smile

I hadn't heard about the evap lines until I joined the forum as this is my 2nd cycle TTC so I'm afraid I don't know too much about them. I'm wondering if mine may be an evap line as I've been a bit naughty and tested 6 days before my AF is due

sprinkleofsunshine · 17/04/2018 21:54

@SunshineSparklesSmiles oh really, I have a while to go yet only about 2/3 days dpo but I really want to try and hold out to test. It's only my second cycle ttc with #1 also but I'm already going a bit mad symptom spotting!

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 17/04/2018 21:57

@sprinkleofsunshine we're ttc #1 too. Last month I was symptom spotting every day and was really disappointed but it's a new month and trying my best to be rational, it's not easy though. This is a good place to be though as we're all in the same boat Smile

sprinkleofsunshine · 17/04/2018 22:06

@SunshineSparklesSmiles sorry I meant only my first cycle! Yeah I get what you mean I said to dh I'm not going to get my hopes up I know it's unlikely we will catch this time but I know if af comes I will be disappointed.

Def good to chat with others in the same position Grin

waitingforbubbles · 17/04/2018 22:38

Hello! I'm new here so I hope it's okay if I join. I'm currently 7DPO on cycle 1 baby no. 1. Finding TWW veeery hard & symptom spotting like crazy.

@starwishing I'm intruiged about your app that analyses the chance that you're pregnant this month, do you know what data it goes off to calculate that? How far through your cycle are you? X

starwishing · 17/04/2018 22:43

@waitingforbubbles I'm cd21 today and got my positive opk last Sunday/Monday so 6dpo today. My data consists of 40+cycle history and patterns based on:
-cm
-cp
-bbt
-heart rate
-symptoms such as headaches, cramps, energy level etc
-medications
-sleep pattern
-time since surgery.

The algorithms get more exact and reliable after 25 cycles as it matches the same pattern from all the previous bfn cycles.

TinySnowBuddy · 17/04/2018 22:47

Please may I join in too? I'm a lurker and sporadic poster...cycle 5 ttc #1. Am in tww, think I oved Friday or Saturday so am either 3dpo or 4dpo today...torture. We've been doing SMEP this month, am glad to have a few nights rest now! Anyone else tried it? Smile fx for everyone! Xx

waitingforbubbles · 17/04/2018 22:48

@starwishing thanks for your reply and wow, how clever and sophisticated! But here's to hoping that maybe it's wrong ☺️🤞🏻

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 05:30

Well folks, I woke up at 3am with the weirdest feeling in my abdomen and the need to pee. I'm 10dpo today so took a second test. I had a faint line yesterday on a CB and today I have this on a FRER. AF isn't due til Monday but do you see what I think I can see or could it be a pesky evap line? Opinions much appreciated Smile

sexnotgender · 18/04/2018 06:16

Well my joy at my BFP has been short lived. Started bleeding last night so I assume that’s game over?

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 06:18

Hi @winterwarmers, I can't see a line at the moment unfortunately Sad when is AF due? I will keep my fingers crossed for you as you're still in with a chance until AF shows.

winterwarmers · 18/04/2018 06:19

@SunshineSparklesSmiles af was due yesterday but i ovulated late so probably due tomorrow

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 06:28

@sexnotgender, I am so sorry to hear that Sad

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 06:29

@winterwarmers The wait is a complete rotter; I hope you get your bfp soon.

goneswimming · 18/04/2018 06:51

I don't know why I'm still torturing myself but I can't help testing every morning! Another bfn today, af due tomorrow.

DBoo · 18/04/2018 07:10

Congratulations sunshine. Definite bfp there!

sex not necessarily bleeding in early pregnancy is more common than you think see how you get on today. If you have no cramps that's a good sign.

wish i keep looking and looking and thinking is there a little something? Either way the fact i have to keep looking i would say its not clear enough yet. Have another try tonorrow. Fingers crossed for you.

DBoo · 18/04/2018 07:11

Sorry about the bfn goneswimming when is af due?

EnglishIrishRose · 18/04/2018 07:45

Like everyone else I can see a line there SunshineSparklesSmiles congrats!

sexnotgender hope you're not out, some women bleed at their normal time of the month all the way through pregnancy as weird as that sounds.

I saw four newborn babies in the same place yesterday and had to resist the urge to sob! My emotions are all over the place but I think it's progesterone - too early for pregnancy hormones.

starwishing · 18/04/2018 08:25

@EnglishIrishRose seeing new babies and crying is noting to do with hormones at all it's just a human reaction. My son cries when he sees newborn babies and he's not even ttc
