Well I've managed to get my parents to have the children tonight so will be getting busy tonight ! My husband was a bit freaked out with the bleeding yesterday told him it was normal and I'm not taking no for an answer tonight !!

Boboelephant · 03/04/2018 16:09

@Cakelaur OMG!!!! Implantation bleed!!!!! You know you would be saying this to anyone else!! 😉 keeping everything crossed for you!

Cakelaur · 03/04/2018 16:37

Good luck @Lovewinemorethanhusband just get him drunk! 😝

@Boboelephant I bloody hope so!! It's totally stopped again. So could be! We'll see in a couple of days!

hayleyfx · 03/04/2018 17:24

@Cakelaurs sounds like it could be implantation bleeding! How exciting, fingers crossed it’s BFP Friday this week! Grin🤞🏼

weasledee · 03/04/2018 19:41

Cake after the 10 day marathon, I sooooo hope it's implantation!! When you doing a test?! Smile

Cakelaur · 03/04/2018 19:54

I can't wait til 10dpo so I'll be testing tomorrow at 9dpo. But it may depend on my temps. So far they're slowly on the rise. No idea if it's the progesterone cream or it's gonna turn into a bfp. No idea. Hoping for a big temp rise tomorrow. If it drops I may not test.

PumpkinPatch000 · 03/04/2018 20:32

Hi Ladies,

i'm really scared and hoping for some advice. What was your first AF like after MC?

TMI....
I started brown spotting last Tues and had bleeding the wed - Friday then brown spotting Sat - today. More spotting than i'm used to and slightly longer AF as it's normally all done in 4 days but I've read AF can be different aren't MC so wasn't worried. What has scared me and this will be really TMI now sorry but I was just sitting on the sofa and I felt it run out of me.. went to the toilet and it's the brightest red blood i've ever seen. Thin, loads of it and with big clots... i'm scared. Is this normal? It came out of no where.

I haven't felt well the last few days, bad headaches and feeling faint on and off, i'm now freaking out something is really wrong.

Daffodils86 · 03/04/2018 20:58

@PumpkinPatch000
Mmm well im not a doctor, but it sounds as if you are having what seems a normal period after MC. I read alot of women report that their periods where heavier and longer than normal. I have also read this in various literature about MC and TTC.

The only thing that concerns me slightly is that you have felt unwell, however a lot of women feel this during their periods.

To be on the safe side can you call the EPU just for some advice or your doctor tomorrow.
Try not to panic though, im sure all is ok. X

Cakelaur · 03/04/2018 21:03

I'd say it sounds relatively normal. My first AF was really heavy and a little off. But like what @Daffodils86 said, I'd call Epu just to calm your mind. They may scan you. There possibly may have been some tissue remaining that's now left. Sending hugs. Everything about MCs is confusing.

Sloeberrygin · 03/04/2018 21:08

@PumpkinPatch000 I would second ringing the EPU. I had to speak to them a couple of times and they weren't at all concerned about really heavy bleeding and they told me as long as the clots weren't bigger than a plum (!!) it was fine. But I would definitely ring to run it past them, and because you're feeling unwell. Maybe you're a bit anaemic? That makes me feel dreadful, headachey and dizzy.

Daffodils86 · 03/04/2018 21:12

@BabynameEdie
Hope your sides are better! I sometimes think im hyper sensitive, so desperate to get back into a normal cycle i make it up in my head!
I thought the TWW was bad, this is even worse. TTC when 2.5 weeks ago you were actually pregnant sucks!

@xLeanne128
Sorry for your loss, i MC at 6 weeks too, it was just over 2 weeks ago.
Im hoping my cycles come back without too much craziness, but who knows. Im impatient! X

Boboelephant · 03/04/2018 21:24

@Llondbol have you tested??
@Daffodils86 I definitely have noticed a difference. I had zero symptoms before and now it's all sore boobs and back ache all the freaking time. Totally convinced myself I was pregnant the first cycle too because of all of my symptoms!
@BabynameEdie I also worry constantly that I am not ovulating. I didn't until the doctor suggested it and now it consumes me. Worried about it now in fact!!!
@PumpkinPatch000 I'm sorry hun. That sounds scary and confusing. Like the others said I'm sure it's fine but I would definitely call the EPU in the morning just to ease your mind and be sure.

PumpkinPatch000 · 03/04/2018 21:28

Thanks so much for your responses ladies. It’s eased off now but having that random ‘gush’ has definitely scared me. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I’m going to ring the EPU in the morning and see if they can offer any advice. The weird thing is I’ve been spotting for 4 days so was certain my period had pretty much gone. It’s going to be a long night of worrying I think Sad

Sorry to suddenly spring it on you and not respond to any other messages, I was panicking!

Daffodils86 · 03/04/2018 21:34

@Boboelephant
Im sure i have symptoms now when before i didnt. The sides of my boobs are definitely sore. Although my CM seems to have gone awol. Iv no idea what is going on, makes it worse opk- neg!

Boboelephant · 03/04/2018 21:38

I'm a bit worried ladies. I have had EWCM Sat, Sun and Mon, not today. Thought I was due to ovulate yesterday (Monday). The back pain started yesterday which is pretty normal for ovulation but I still haven't gotten a positive opk. The line was definitely getting darker on Sunday but today it's barely there. It never got as dark as the test line and because I didn't want housekeeping to think i was a nut job I threw them away so can't look again. I have been temping and had a slight 0.17 increase today but not sure if that's enough to mean anything. Also aware that we are on holiday, it's warm, drinking alcohol and DS is waking alot with a cough so not waking at same time every morning and prob not always after 3 hours uninterrupted sleep. Ahh driving myself crazy!!! I don't know how I can know if i have ovulated. Any words of wisdom welcome!!

Cakelaur · 03/04/2018 21:40

Can you post your chart @Boboelephant ?

BabynameEdie · 03/04/2018 21:46

@Daffodils86 ahh I know, it's totally horrible and unfair. I'm about 5 weeks post MC and generally things are fine, people wouldn't know anything different if they saw me / spoke to me, and generally I feel well and back to normal mentally, but then I have days where that all goes out the window which I think is normal after such a shock and trauma. And now ttc again, well I suppose I'm less focussed on the MC because I'm utterly OBSESSED with getting pregnant again.

BabynameEdie · 03/04/2018 21:49

@PumpkinPatch000 no need to apologise, it what we're all here for and it's just such a safe & comforting place to share all this stuff. Sounds really scary and alarming so don't be concerned about calling epu or even 111 (is that the right number?! NHS non emergency..) - we're all used to our bodies and cycles being one way and then MC goes and mucks it all up so it's hard to know what is 'normal'. Keep posting if it helps you through the night xx

Boboelephant · 03/04/2018 21:50

@Cakelaur here it is.

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 03/04/2018 21:52

@pumpkin I've had exactly the same had a normal period wasn't particularly heavier than normal and then day 12 had a random bleed I got up from bed and fell out of me all stringy and yuck but loads I did call the doctors today who advised it's normal after a miscarriage and unless it doesn't stop or lots of clots them not to worry to micj, it's scary though xx

Boboelephant · 03/04/2018 21:54

@PumpkinPatch000 that's definitely what we are here for. Hope you get some answers. x
@Daffodils86 yeah it sucks. I definitely have symptoms now that I didn't before as well. And sore sides of boobs was one of them! Hope our bodies sort themselves out soon!

BabynameEdie · 03/04/2018 21:56

@Boboelephant before I started worrying about these things (in pre pregnancy, pre miscarriage happiness and naivety) I was on my honeymoon with dh and we decided to start trying v casually (ie didn't really make much of a thing about it just didn't use protection) but I was charting/temping because that's how I avoided pregnancy before. But it was the first time I had really looked at it from a 'planning a pregnancy' viewpoint and I noticed that I didn't ever really ovulate according to my temps or the app. But I did get pregnant! I think the air con, the flights (I hate flying so tons of stress) and the drinking / late nights and long lie ins just made it impossible for my temps to be recorded accurately, so my app never actually pinpointed an ovulation day, but clearly it did happen at some point! I didn't have (or know about) opks.
So I think you just have to keep going with the bd, and try not to put too much pressure on which day is the peak / highest fertility etc..just go with it. Your body will do the rest and it's v v likely that you will ovulate if you have always in the past. It's quite rare to randomly not ovulate I think..
Having said that, can you now tell myself the same? Because I'm in EXACTLY the same mindset and haven't had a peak/dark line when I had expected to, and I'm not on holiday so have no excuses! 🤦‍♀️
Support and love flying your way x
