Anyone fancy contributing to this and letting us know what odd habits have made their way into your life?

I knew I’d been ttc-ing for too long when I woke up at 1am this morning with my bbt thermometer beeping in my mouth and no memory of putting it there. #sleepcharting

You know you have been trying too long when you pee in a cup next day AF arrived...

When you don't know the actual date, but know what cycle day or dpo you are.

When you don't give a shit about eating right,
So true.
Over a year-18months ago I gave uo everything you shouldn't eat (including soft cheeses which are my fave!). As of about 2 montjs ago I've become very 'sod it. I'm not even pregnant'

You know you have been ttc too long when you get Dh to wake up you up at 3am after coming in from night shift to dtd because it’s the fertile window and you don’t want to miss a chance!

Or you know you have been ttc too long when you seriously consider asking military personnel to ship sperm home when DH is away AGAIN. (perhaps just a military wife thing?!)

You know you have been ttc too long when you see at Tom Dalys pregnancy announcement on Twitter and think for fucks sake even two blokes can get pregnant faster than me (I obviously hope they will be very happy!)

MrsJones that was my first thought when I saw Tom Daley’s pregnancy announcement as well 😂

When your mad at your partner. Forgive for the whole of fertile week then get back to the original fight two weeks later when AF comes cos hormones are your get out of jail free card 🤷🏼‍♀️

When you can't even go for a wee anymore without close scrutiny of your gusset for CM, spotting, or anything else that you can symptom spot 🙄

...You know you have been ttc for too long when you can have detailed chats with your ttc mates (mumsnet) about the pros & cons of each fertility app...

...when you have come up with every new idea, potion & lotion to try - given it all up for a bit - and are now back on it all!

When you are due af and you start becoming a habitual “loo roll checker” every time you go for a wee

Ladies, I write a ttc/infertility blog that’s a little on the humorous side and I’d love to do this a blog post. Would any of you mind if I used some of your answers? I shall credit you by username of course as I’ll do the post as “mumsnet inspired” lol (sorry to OP for butting in!)

😂 to the putting argument on hold as you have to dtd.

• Just generally trying to remind myself not to be too business like with dh over dtd (as that puts him off apparently?! “Welcome home now drop and give me your swimmers! I mean make love”)

• not bothering to test anymore til af is actually late

• having got angry at dh for buying non white toilet paper

I had the exact same thought about Tom Daley. And I have two lesbian couples who are friends of mine. Both got married last summer. Both now upduffed...

When your husband tells you that the daily mail says that to increase chances of conception you should have sex twice at a time and have lots of cuddles afterwards and you just feel really angry

When someone asks a question on Conception about opks or bbt or cm and you know ALL the answers and then some.

When you have hpts that have gone out of date.

When Amazon keeps reminding you to stock up on Preseed or opks.

When you realise at every new pregnancy and birth announcement that had you got pregnant first cycle, you'd have a 15-month old by now.

When you look at how much you've spent on vitamins, OPKs, pregnancy tests & pre-seed and realise it would have paid for a holiday.

When you hear the words "I'm not going down on you DH, it's not good for your sperm" come out of your mouth while attempting to dtd

When you're suddenly horny but DH is sceptical of your motives and is trying to work out if it's fertility related.

Yet another who has literally told DH to stop arguing with me because we both need to be calm as it's fertile week.

When you count the time you've been ttc in years rather than months.

Can you not use mine sorry Bubblegum . Though it probably wasn't one of the comments you had in mind!
