1dpo cycle 1 post-mc, AF due 20/02 - last 2ww thread I was on got me through!

Trying to follow Kwick's rules for 2ww, no hot baths / cold veg etc, and not to react to every single twinge

I'm trying not to work out when ovulation was so I'm not tempted to test too early. It's failing however!
Only have internet cheapies as well, no frers or anything so need to hold out a long time!

AhH @vickywood3 thanks that's cheered me right up x haven't tried again which at the very least has to be a positive for mental stability!

No idea if it's indicative of state of uterus but v grumpy and fed up this eve, mid house-sale our buyer (five months to get his sh*t together while we Schrodinger over buying / work / starting family etc)'s conveyancer has wasted a stamp and three days to ask for the fourth time for planning permission for an "extension" that was added to the house in 1870. I've had to send a photo from the village historical society's website of the house in 1911 as proof it wasn't built recently / by us / in an age of planning permission sans approval they'll probably come back accusing us of photoshopping it

Current dilemma = or a date with one of those IC sticks thrown in with my FRER delivery?!

@PassTheAfterEights I don’t think it would be HCG from your MC in jan.

When I had a MC my tests were showing negative pretty quickly after I first started bleeding. Within 5 days they were completely negative.

You’re still very early so I’d wait a day or two and then test (says the most prolific POASer that ever lived)

@PassTheAfterEights oh my gosh what a nightmare ... photoshop 😂. No developments with me at all - just a waiting game! It’s like sore boobs, possible symptom, abdominal pains possible symptom, face breaking out, possible symptom, nausea, possible symptom, I’ve just banged my head, possible symptom 🤔. Honestly I think am losing it xxx

Just gave in and POAS and BFN! But I am testing far too early!! Just couldn't not do it!!!! I have one cheapo test left and I'm not going to buy FRER until next week. Must. Stay. Strong.

I’ve also just tested on an internet cheapie at 9DPO and got a BFN. Trying not to feel too disheartened, I know it’s early but I can’t help but feel a bit shit now!

It is still really early so you are not out until AF arrives! Baby dust to you both xxx

Tested last night at 9dpo with my husband present: BFN. He took it light. I had a small mental break down with tears rolling. Silly, I know...
Today I feel so normal and Not pregnant and I believe this is not my month.

What's the earliest you would get a bfp with an Internet cheapy?

@gossipgirl I think a lot depends on your own body and hormone levels etc, as well as the amount of hcg it needs to detect. But usually they recommend 5days before af due, though most aren't as accurate if used early... so even frer are only about 65% accurate if used 5 days early.

I also tested earlier and thought I could see the faintest of faint lines, but so much so that I think I might have imagined it, esp since I'm now getting the feeling that af on the way :(

I have brown spotting (tmi only when I wipe) and mildish cramps. But I thought I was 10DPO which I thought was too late for implantation bleeding?
Wondering if i ovulated late?

weasle I had 3 days of brown spotting before AF arrived this week, sorry hope it is better news for you

It may be that implantation actually took place a few days ago. That's why it's brown spotting as it's not fresh bleeding- it takes time to pass through the cervix etc. I've done some reading on it today as I'm the same! Been having brown spotting since 7dpo and today I'm 9dpo. Had cramps too. Xoxo

I usually never have Brown spotting but did last time for 3 days before AF started heavily.
I am tempted to test tomorrow morning with FMU even though I counted myself as out already....why are we doing this to ourselves i have more self control when it comes to chocolate....

Experienced light red spotting when wiping last night. Thought my period started early (?) But stopped already. Implantation bleeding at 10dpo?
I really don't think so.

Hi everyone, joining if that's ok.

I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle and on my new cycle am now CD23 and around 10dpo.

I'm testing like a lunatic every morning and getting BFN each time but I've got cramps and that milk nipples in the cold feeling if you know what I means.

When should I be expecting to see a real result on a FRER?

I’m holding off til Tuesday now, I’ll be 12DPO then so a test should be fairly clear either way. Used a couple IC’s the last few days and had BFNs on them.

@loulou82 same situ although a couple of days ahead (chem last month, symptoms for the past week but series of essentially BFNs) - firstly sorry, know how you must be feeling. WRT the FRER's, they're up to 65% effective from -6 days so as early as CD22/23/24 ish dependent on normal cycle length. But lots of ladies have only had BFP on day of missed AF or after so the % accuracy varies somewhere between that 65 and 100 over the coming week, I guess. My last BFP was squinty at 9dpo and clear by 11dpo, was only guessing on ovulation based on symptoms and normal cycle this time as the early mc muddied the waters a bit and looks as though we have not been lucky. Everything crossed for you and if not this month then next xx

@imnotposhjustquaint thank you, read yesterday - was a bit low and didn't MN much but it helped clear my head. I too had very quick BFN post mc so that theory doesn't make a lot of sense, now assuming conception but no implantation this month - same squinter this morning, too faint to even photograph. AF due in 2 days, one IC left, think I'll save him for March!

No none at all 9dpo and af due Friday/Saturday but it could be as late as Monday (early ovulation this month). I do feel like tugging and pulling in my abdomin but it also could be in my head or something I get every month and not noticed. I have been having vivid horrible dreams. I definitely don’t get them every month. At my daughters dance competition gunna hold off testing till Saturday earliest xx

Thanks for your advice @passtheeights I'm going to keep testing every day. I like you got a faint line at 9dpo and solid at 11dpo with my chemical. Just hoping ovulated slightly later this cycle which is why I'm showing BFN currently. Will update tomorrow with the next text currently stockpiling from amazon
