78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

@RD2011 I'm the same as you, I don't know. I've tried OPKs, tracking my CM and my cervix position. All of them are very mismatching Sad

RD2011 · 28/01/2018 21:44

@LifeOfRiley63 thank you for your advice though and making me feel normal... a lot of people may say I'm still fairly young and have time ...but when you have your heart set on something

jellybeans81 · 28/01/2018 23:36

@LifeOfRiley63 I will keep you posted.

@SpadesOfGlory.... great minds think alike! I think as soon as I book AF is bound to appear.Smile

I am only taking folic acid. I wonder if it's time to start taking some of the supplements you guys are taking Hmm

hungryradish · 29/01/2018 07:12

I take a pre-natal vitamin (includes folic acid) & extra B12. Could add something else in there but not sure what atm, lol. Any suggestions welcome :')

hungryradish · 29/01/2018 07:13

CD81 - feel like this is getting a bit ridiculous now.

LifeOfRiley63 · 29/01/2018 08:36

@hungryradish Mate I'm on CD101 Sad

Karigan1 · 29/01/2018 08:37

Don’t know if this might help ladies. I take magnesium and first AF took 50 something days.

hungryradish · 29/01/2018 09:37

Sorry lifeofriley you must be even more confused... I'm just dying to know what's going on in there. Not used to not being in control haha

Thanks karigan - I used to take that anyway so can't do any harm adding it back in!

LifeOfRiley63 · 29/01/2018 10:03

@hungryradish Me neither Sad Control freak in me in going bananas!
I've booked a Drs appt for Wednesday so if the legend is true, my AF will no doubt arrive then! Grin

Tinker315b · 29/01/2018 12:01

I got this to try, probably won’t help but I’m willing to try anything!

78th day of no period....
LifeOfRiley63 · 29/01/2018 23:17

Probably a personal question...but does anyone do the legs up after DTD?

Karigan1 · 30/01/2018 06:43

Apparently that’s a myth but staying lying down is recommended.

LifeOfRiley63 · 30/01/2018 08:38

I think I read the same somewhere. Lying flat for 15 minutes while the porridge has been stirred hahahaha (god I'm grim, sorry!)

hungryradish · 30/01/2018 08:48

Oh god & here's me literally at this moment warming my porridge in the microwave as I read that!

I've not got to the legs up stage just yet, but I do usually lay around for 10-15 mins anyway. No longer or that's just asking for a uti(in my case.)

gossipgirl28 · 30/01/2018 09:06

I think there's no harm in lying down for 10 mins or so (I do) ha! Feels like it might increase the chances of something happening so why not....

AF has now finished for me I'm CD 6. Going to DTD lots from CD 8 to CD15 and I am going to use OPK on those 7 days. I've told my OH to make sure he has lots of energy!

I've bought some conceive plus fertility lube as it has good reviews, going to give it a go!

Just hoping my cycle will be regular and it won't be 6 weeks until I get AF again! Xoxo

LifeOfRiley63 · 30/01/2018 10:07

Hahaha sorry @hungryradish!xx GrinGrinGrin

@GossipGirl28 Ooh fingers crossed for the fertility lube - which brand did you go for? x

SpadesOfGlory · 30/01/2018 10:07

See I tend to get up as soon as he pulls out afterwards. I don't know if I'm different to everyone else, but the stuff literally runs straight back out if me when I'm lying down and I hate the feeling! Lol how do you all get it to stay up there?! never thought i would ever say that sentence out loud

In other news... I'm CD17 now and for the past 2 days I have had fairly sensitive nipples. Not sore, just more sensitive than before. Creamy CM and still no positive opk. I'm wondering if the darkest line I had on cd11 might have indicated ovulation?

Haha @SpadesofGlory it is a constant battle. I try keep my thighs jammed shut and make a conscious effort not to fannyfart or cough! Grin
Hmmm sounds very promising, like you're body is still working away!

hungryradish · 30/01/2018 11:12

Certain positions it seems to stay in longer....

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 11:23

Hi ladies hope you don't mind me joining. I thought I had a period on CD43 (usually 32 day cycles) but now I'm not too sure. Had some faint positives before what I though was AF. Dr told me to ignore them they were negative. Refused to do a blood test. Still feeling strange took 2 first responses 2 days ago again faint lines. I'm waiting for more tests to arrive today brought a digital also. So if it wasn't an AF now i will be on CD55 now. How is everyone else doing isn't the confusion and waiting so hard Envy

LifeOfRiley63 · 30/01/2018 11:26

I agree with @hungryradish. If I'm on top it doesn't stay in hardly at all. Doggy style or missionary help keep it in better. Wink

Welcome @ReeRee6108 . Sounds very confusing. Did you have two BFP's but the Dr said ignore them? I'm confused.

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 11:33

@LifeOfRiley63 hey, yes 2 very faint lines on clear blues her exact response was "is that what you think is positive, throw them away they are negative". She did her own urine test said it was negative. I then started bleeding so thought it was AF, but I'm now extremely nauseous lots of headaches sore boobs my face is sooooo dry I have patches of dry skin popping up everywhere. Two first response tests the other day came up as faint positives. Going to retest today and see if they are darker.

LifeOfRiley63 · 30/01/2018 12:07

@ReeRee6108 What a strange and very blunt reaction from your Doctor!
Have you tried any First Response tests? xx

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 13:46

@LifeOfRiley63 yes these are the tests I keep getting faint positives on. 2 this week last test on Sunday.

Tinker315b · 30/01/2018 13:46

@ReeRee6108 Can you not ask to see a different doctor? I though a faint line was still a positive! I would get a different opinion!
