78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

@LifeOfRiley63 lets hope its one or the other! Was soo little I don't even want to get my hopes up!

hungryradish · 22/01/2018 13:04

Like a little 'pop' feeling on my left side... I don't know how to explain it hahaha. I remember getting that when I was young (before the pill) but never thought much about what it was... Think it's the egg releasing.

hungryradish · 22/01/2018 13:12

& Fx for you too tinker :)

Karigan1 · 22/01/2018 14:40

I had all sorts of pops flutters and twinges last month. Sounds like it’s your system getting back on track and could be ovulation!

LifeOfRiley63 · 22/01/2018 14:59

@SpadesOfGlory Where you gone gurl? xx

gossipgirl28 · 22/01/2018 15:04

I'm on day 42 off cerelle mini pill.....

Had cramps 2 weeks ago and sore boobs on and off. BFN on 8th Jan.

So frustrated x

SpadesOfGlory · 22/01/2018 16:28

@LifeOfRiley63 I'm here! Sorry for dropping off the grid a bit, got a bit down about it all.

Given myself a shake now and back to it, after a great and honest chat with a good friend about our joint reproductive challenges Grin

I'm CD8 now, have bought a load of cheap OPKs and all the vitamins and supplements I can think of to try and get myself regular again.

How is everyone doing? I must go back and RTFT and catch up xx

Hey Spades. I’m two days behind you. What supplements are you taking. I’m now on:

Cq10
Magnesium
Pregnacare
Vitamin d
Primrose up to ovulation

I rattle lol

SpadesOfGlory · 22/01/2018 16:41

@Karigan1 my DH laughs when he looks at the array of bottles on my bedside cabinet Confused

What's cq10? I have been taking Agnus castus, vitamin c and zinc, folic acid, evening primrose. Going to start using the opks in the next day or two see if anything is happening.

Karigan1 · 22/01/2018 16:47

Cq10 is good for making healthy eggs. :) there are a couple of articles about it out there

Loz604 · 22/01/2018 17:46

3 1/2 weeks of cerelle. Now feeling nothing but very tender boobs. Keep telling myself I’m not going to test until February or until there are any other changes. But taking a test is becoming as addictive as getting a chocolate bar out the cupboard 😂

Loz604 · 22/01/2018 19:32

Oh no. My favourite bra has just bucked under pressure- they must be heavy as the bloody underwriting has snapped! 😱

gossipgirl28 · 22/01/2018 20:28

Ha @Loz604 this made me laugh!

I last tested on 8th Jan (1 month off cerelle). Been DTD lots since then and taking primrose oil, iron tablets, multi vitamins and folic acid. When would you test next? X

Loz604 · 22/01/2018 22:37

@gossipgirl28. Personally I’m not testing until I notice some changes. Feel I’m probably wasting tests when I know what the answer will be.

Do you use opks? Or monitor cm?

hungryradish · 23/01/2018 06:40

I got some cheap tests so don't mind wasting them seeing as I just can't control myself :')

gossipgirl28 · 23/01/2018 08:51

I'm not using OPK as haven't got my period back yet so won't be ovulating. Checking CM though.

I've bought some cheap tests off amazon (15 for £4)

Karigan1 · 23/01/2018 09:12

Hey gossip girl I ovulated before AF came back. Might be worth watching out for signs :)

Tinker315b · 23/01/2018 09:22

Hi Girls, so yesterday and last night I still was having a few streaks of lightish blood when wiping. This morning twice it was been a really pale brown mixed with CM im also having a few mild cramps in my lower back and also lower abdomen. I think something is happening but not sure what.

Karigan1 · 23/01/2018 09:54

Could be implantation! Give it 5 days then test :)

Tinker315b · 23/01/2018 10:08

@Karigan1 thank you! I done daily ovulation tests that were always negative so I don't know if I've ovulated and the test hasn't picked it up. Time will tell Smile

Karigan1 · 23/01/2018 10:16

I don’t know about that but there was someone on another thread saying she never got a hit on the ovulation sticks and was pregnant so they must have lied. It was mentioned on one of the pregnancy pages.

Could be you just miss the LH surge so I wouldn’t rely on them too much.

Tinker315b · 23/01/2018 10:43

@Karigan1 No me either, be interesting to see whats happening with my body! Because I haven't had a period since coming off the pill, and if it was implantation bleeding then I will have ovulated before having a period.

So its either withdrawal, AF on the way or implantation. I will take a test in 4-5 days time if AF isn't here by that!

@SpadesOfGlory I hope you are feeling better today!

SpadesOfGlory · 23/01/2018 12:24

@Tinker thanks, I'm feeling better! Your symptoms sound positive enough, fingers crossed!

I'm actually cd10 today. Did an OPK last night and no second line at all, but I'm going to do them every day from now on and see if I can pinpoint ovulation. DTD last night anyway because I'm so aware that I need to keep things fun an fresh....babymaking sex is really not romantic Grin

LifeOfRiley63 · 23/01/2018 15:29

@SpadesOfGlory Spaaaaades! So glad you're back Grin I hope you're feeling more upbeat. Let us know how you get on with the OPKs! I gave up on them because out of like 5 boxes I had 1 faint second line. But good work on DTD - I feel bad for DH as he must know my increased interest is purely selfish!

@Karigan1 I'm totally copycat'ing you and ordered some CQ10 and Magnesium. More to add to my old-lady pill box! #rattlerattle

@Loz604 Haaaa thats hilarious. You are now officially a member of the BBB (Big Boob Brigade)! Grin And agreed, tests are dangerous to keep in the house, they're always on your mind!

@hungryradish I just copied you also and bought some cheapies from the pound shop as I don't want to waste my precious stash of FRERs!

@Tinker315b When are you going to test?? I think you're positive! A few women have said they've had lower back ache as it's their lady regions stretching! EEk!
