New to TTC - no peak on clearblue opk!!

Morning All

I am new at this - only 6 weeks ttc#1 at age 33.

My best friend recommended using Clearblue Advanced Digital OPK in order to understand the best time to get pregnant since I only came off bc in May.

Found that my periods have been pretty regular over last 2-3 months. Usually 36 day cycle - last 2 periods were spot on!

Began using OPK on day 16 as per instructions. Only got flashing smiley (high fertility) from day 23. Now on day 27 and keep getting flashing smiley but no peak as yet!!!

I am getting concerned that I am either not ovulating or ovulating really late. Some say that if you ovulate late in the cycle then there isn’t enough time for implantation and therefore a viable pregnancy.

Is it possible to ovulate but not get solid smiley (peak fertility) on OPK?

Any advice is most welcome.

Yeah I'm shattered tonight. Well depending on how long my cycle is, I'm due between the 7th and 10th. I'm looks you, I don't even know what day past ovulation I'm on or if I even ovulated. I guess I will just have to wait until the 10th.

I might test on the 7th or 8th though lol.

Lol. Yeah it’s hard not to test early....are you planning on using the clearblue digital tests?

Think I’m gonna wait until the 8th to see if AF makes an appearance (which I fully expect!)

I will probably buy a first response as the digitals aren't as sensitive and usually take a good few days longer to show up as positive. I always find it a bit more disheartening to read "NOT PREGNANT" in words lol.

Morning Pibbee! Today is my 7th day of flashing smiley 😢 I doubt I’m gonna get a solid this month as AF due 8th Dec! It’s so frustrating as just don’t know if I’ve missed it or not actually ovulated this month!!

Did I lol. I got my 10th flashing face this morning and I officially give up lol that and I've run out of sticks!

My test holder was close to being thrown out the window this morning! Lol 🙂 bet that would stop the flashing smiley haha x

When mine started flashing I was all like "Yeah and of course you're flashing" and then I was like ok crazy we are now talking to ovulation sticks LOL

Lol! I’ve never felt so annoyed by a smiling face in my life....not convinced I’m gonna carry on with these as way more stressful than just dtd as much as possible....hubby might disagree though!

I kinda think it's easier for us, we can dtd anytime but guys genuinely have to be in the mood.

Yeah I’m starting to feel for him a little bit as he is working pretty long hours at the mo! And then has me hassling him every other day 🙂

Yeah I gave up. My period is due like next week anyway! Are you still dtd? We Are, we except last night when I was totally shattered! We will tonight though, because I never really know when I've ovulated I'm always worried about missing it lol.

When flo comes you're like "Jeez! I could have gone to bed early that night after all" lol.

Yeah we dtd yesterday and gonna make a point of doing it tomorrow...I feel the same as you since AF due on the 8th. Not sure if it’s a waste but worried I’ll miss ovulation if I don’t keep going lol 🙂

I don't know why but I still have cervical mucus. I normal just go dry which has made me even more confused about ovulation! I've had a few headaches over the last few days too. What about you?

I’ve been super tired with some cramping. However, could be because my work is really busy and it’s coming up to my period!

I think I’m over symptom spotting though and maybe looking for things that aren’t actually there?

It’s difficult not to though!

I’ve got friends visiting tomorrow so would have liked a positive or negative but I know it’s way too early right now. Just need to think of an excuse not to drink just in case.

Hi ladies, I am very distressed as i'm 36 years old and using Clearblue Digital Bluetooth tests for the first time.
It read HIGH fertility on days 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 of my cycle
we did the BD on days 16, 17, 18, 19, 22 of my cycle and
today is day 23 and it says 'too late in cycle to test'
It never gave a peak fertility day!

I'm panicking now about missed ovulation?
I'm hoping I ovulated and perhaps the test just didn't pick it up.
I wasn't tracking my temperature, if I was I might know the answer..
really distressed

I had a miscarriage in July
I got pregnant on Day 14 of May's cycle
Period May 13- got pregnant May 18

I'm so confused because obviously in May I was most fertile days 14-15 so why would I be fertile later now?

Stress/life can mess with ovulation so you may just be ovulating late. Or if you only test once a day you may have missed the LH surge. Or it could be an anovulatory cycle. I've been here - TTC really sucks.
If you think it may be late ov you could DTD every other for the next few days to keep you covered. I realise after your last week's efforts that may be hard to keep up!

I'm worried I haven't ovulated or could I have missed it??
My cycle is around 30-32 days
