Luna have you had a flashing smiley yet? If so you can test any time. If not I think you have to do it when you haven't peed for 4 hours. You could always try with a different holder just in case, to make sure you don't miss anything

Good idea! No it's day 1 of testing, so expecting a few days of no-face, so the holder gets my baseline - but will not eat or drink for 4 hours and use a different holder and retest 😁😁😁😁😁

After thinking I'd avoided the hairy chin...woke up today to about 5 spots and 2 spiky hairs!!!! Argh. Was quite satisfying tweezing the hairs out mind you. And at least they're blonde if I don't catch them quick enough next time. Now imagining waking up with a full on luscious beard tomorrow...at least would cover the spots!

I'm quite happy with our bonking schedule this cycle. We usually go for every day over FW, but spaced it out this month, and feel there's more in the tank for the coming week (just in case I don't ovulate when I think?? We rarely DTD between CD14-CD21, so could have been missing a trick?)
DTD: CD9(pm), CD12(pm), CD14(am), CD16(am)
OD: CD15

Luna - total myth that more will spawn from a single hairs death, plucking is the way to go. Waxing can make you spotty and really there's no need if it's just a couple.

Tee, and everyone - I'm wondering about when to boink this month... normally we go by my app, so will do it every night for like 10 days (😱)... even tho my OPK is only active for 4 days... should I be doing it that much? Or just the clearblue 4 days? I'm sort of nervous to do it less, but if this takes longer to happen this time, not sure either of us can handle 10 days of forced shagging a month!

Luna, I firmly believe that precise timing is really crucial but I think this depends on the couple. I've only ever got pregnant the day before O day; or the day of the solid smiley on Clearblue. And both times it was first cycle TTC and one shot because DP was out of town or we didn't manage in the run up. Another time we tried every day for a week covering the entire window and I didn't get pregnant. We once had an accident when I Od early, before we were TTC but still tracking cycles; it was 3 days before O day and nothing happened. Once we tied on O day itself but think we missed the egg. That's supposed to be the most likely day, so if you can pinpoint it there's no need to have a 10 day boink fest! Do you follow the cm signs too?

luna when I conceived this time we only had sex twice - day before and day of O day. And we hadn't had sex in over a week before that (camping holiday with friends! And also wasn't expecting to ovulate so early so didn't even know I was in FW) so I was worried that the first time was wasted because DH's sperm was old and mouldy, and then that the second time mightn't have been any good as it was less than 24 hrs later so not enough time to regenerate! And it was still fine. So I agree with poppy - don't tire yourselves out too early! If you can rely on the opks try to go 0-2, 0-1 and 0 and I think you'd be well covered. Exciting!!
